I’ve been following sharky for the past 2 years and have been slowing saving up for the past year to get my cabinet. The machines are of highest quality with the strongest and fastest boards and chips. You just don’t get that elsewhere.

I would love to see more PS3 footage. If this machine runs something like Warhawk or Twisted Metal 2012 well with 4 player splitscreen, then I would buy it yesterday
Looks cool. The Sanwa parts are nice. For the same price I can get an EHA box w trackball. Can you say which should I get the EHA w Omega or this one? Thanks.
I would suggest Shar-kade's control panel simply for the software out of the gate. I'm not taking anything away from EHA's game box or the Omega drive. With Shark-kade's Ultimate Control Panel, you're getting premium hardware, including Sanwa buttons/joysticks, wireless mini keyboard, 2 Xbox 360-like controllers, Wii control kit, an RTX 3060 graphics card, custom dust covers, and beefier internal specs that are superior to what you get with EHA's game box. Also not to mention, you can use the discount code DThomasFromNC & save more money when going the Shar-Kade route. It's a no-brainer that you're getting more bang for your buck. I hope this helps you decide whether you go with EHA or Shar-Kade.
Hey man! Love your videos - appreciate all the effort you put in to show us the goods! Serious question (and you may have answered this already): which is the better one to own overall, if you could only get one: the Megacade or this Shar-kade in cabinet form (for a closer comparison)? Looking to get one very soon and definitely don’t need two, nor is space an issue. Thanks bro and keep up the excellent work!
Thanks, KWeezy! Glad you're enjoying my content. I haven't had this question yet. But after comparing the initial wait times after purchasing, software out of the box, custom hardware, internal pc specs, build quality, customer service, and most importantly, pricing, if I had to do it all over again and only choose one cab, I'd go with the Shar-Kade. Not taking anything away from EHA & what they provide. But having both machines & comparing, Shar-Kade has the edge. That's my honest opinion.
Thank you sir! Your opinion means a lot so very much appreciate you taking the time out to give your honest, objective feedback. Looking forward to more videos showing off the Shar-Kade!
Sooo ima get this instead of the megacade cuz 5k/6k might b too much for yo boy, but i c myself gettin this for Christmas letss goo cant wait..good video bro
@@dthomasfromnc So can you save your game and progress on all these emulated games? Most specifically does Marvel vs Capcom 2 save so that the entire character roster unlocks and remains unlocked? But also everything else save too; does progress save when you play all of these games?
iv looked at his site a few times, been waiting for a good review, always wanted a game box from EH but this more affordable for me since times are tough, and having no trackball no big deal, always buy a usb one and then just figure how to set it up lol oh and i can build cabinet for it and have full arcade machine
I definitely get that. Yes, you can buy a full cabinet from them vs the control panel. You can see all of the units on his website as well as the Shar-kade youtube page.
@@dthomasfromnc fosho but I don't think I'll be able to run half of them systems on my mini pc if I get the drive. Might have to upgrade to a gaming PC
@@kbizz75 what each individual customer in the US pays will always vary as the amount is based off of the conversion of the British pound to the US dollar at the time. It's lower now than when he paid for his build.😉
Thanks! I don't see why this unit wouldn't be compatible with an active marquee. With the proper settings and programming, it should work just fine. As for whether or not I still prefer the EHA system over this one... the short answer is no. Don't get me wrong; my wife and I enjoy our Megacade. The cab itself has a presence and is a centerpiece in our game room. But having something like the Shar-Kade Ultimate Deluxe Control Panel is much more portable (which you could take from room to room or house to house). The build quality is substantial, custom dust covers are standard and unique, and the internal specs are more powerful, allowing outstanding gameplay performance when playing the hefty amount of PC & next/current gen titles. I haven't had to do any button mapping, and the wait time is as little as six to eight weeks. Not to mention you get all of what I just said above at a reasonable price. I paid right around $3K. And for that, you get 16TB Hyperspin, 23 Official Sanwa Buttons, 16TB Hyperspin (340+ Systems + TeknoParrot and PC GAMES), sound Activated LED Controller, RGB Fan, 2x wired Xbox 360-like Controllers, 2x Official Sanwa Sticks, USB ports 3.0 (side), Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD, 16TB SATA III 3.5" Hard Drive, RTX 3060 graphics card, wireless keyboard and mouse, and Wii Controller Kit. Although Shar-Kade's Control Panel & EHA's Megacade both provide retro gameplay from a software standpoint, the Megacade has an arcade feel with the built-in TV & speakers. It'll look great in any game room. Shar-Kade's Control Panel, which is much smaller, is more powerful, and you can connect to any TV, monitor, or projector, all while getting that arcade experience in any room or wherever there is a tv. There are no limits to where you can place or take it. Only thing is this unit (Control panel) doesn't have a trackball. But that wasn't a deal breaker for me. I didn't mean to write a book. But I feel as a potential customer and viewer of my content (and this video), you should know my honest opinion. Hope this helped.
What's goodie bro, been a minute, how's everything? In comparison with the Megacade, which offers the best quality of software, hardware, etc.( if permitted to reply to this question). If you have the Megacade , from one consumer to another , why the Shar-Kade? It does look amazing though. Does the software have Steam? I'm almost sold on getting this , I'm gonna do some research, but, your videos are awesome , always take time to watch and listen. Peace and Blessings brother. Stay Up
What up, bro! Everything is excellent my way. I hope all is well on your end. I feel Shar-kade's control panel offers better quality in software (clean & alphabetized Hyperspin wheel) and hardware (Sanwa joysticks/buttons, RTX 3060 graphics card). I own a Megacade, so why get a Shar-kade? Well, for starters, the software intrigued me- the build quality with unique touches like the custom fan & dust covers is a great addition also. Having something like Shar-kade's control panel is more portable. I can take it from the living room to my bedroom with ease. I could even transfer it in my car's front seat to a friend's house. I've had to do zero-button mapping and have just been having an overall blast with this machine. No Steam software here. But honestly, you don't need it (at least I don't). It's a solid tech build, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who's in the market for purchasing an arcade-type machine. You're getting bang for your buck here, hands down.
looks good but weak punch and kick on the left hand side have been drilled in the wrong place they look up higher than the other buttons, the spec pc one the inside is pretty nuts for an arcade stick but pretty cool fair play.
Button placements seem to be good to me. Nevertheless, you're right about the PC specs. They're pretty insane for a control panel. I appreciate you for watching.
Yeah I finally got one. Shar-Kade internal specs are better. Also, there's no button mapping. Literally plug & play. A lot more user friendly and more portable than the Megacade.
@@dthomasfromnc Nice. I haven't made the 4k leap yet but thinking betweek sony and lg oled when I do. This a great portable megacade option to play on a big tv.

Thanks Martin! A lightgun box sounds like a ton of fun. I'll be doing more vids on this unit. Stay tuned and have a nice day as well.
I would love to see more PS3 footage. If this machine runs something like Warhawk or Twisted Metal 2012 well with 4 player splitscreen, then I would buy it yesterday
I have a PS3 gameplay vid on the way. Keep it locked. I think you'll like what you see.
@@dthomasfromnc Apprecate it fam!!!
@@traesmith9822 no doubt...you're welcome
So which one would you get between the 2 if you could only get one?
Great video. I may look into getting one of these for my son.
Thanks bro! I'm sure he'd love something like this.
Is this the 16TB or the 24TB? Looking forward see more content from you. I was thinking purchasing the 24TB HD build cabinet around it.
It's the 24TB option. Internal 16TB HDD + external 8TB HDD that plugs into the USB.👍🏻
Sooo ima get this instead of the megacade cuz 5k/6k might b too much for yo boy, but i c myself gettin this for Christmas letss goo cant wait..good video bro
@@lorenzoprude1008 that'd be a great Christmas gift.😃
no mortal man should have so many games. You have a monster setup
😂😂Thanks! I do have a lot of games. More than I can play.
well well well the legend is back :D
Indeed😁
Awesome vid. Thanks for this 🙏🏽
You're so welcome!
@@dthomasfromnc So can you save your game and progress on all these emulated games? Most specifically does Marvel vs Capcom 2 save so that the entire character roster unlocks and remains unlocked?
But also everything else save too; does progress save when you play all of these games?
How do you compare to the megacade as far as the amount of games?
It has a lot more working PS3, Switch, TeknoParrot and PC titles than what my Megacade currently has.
Nice! Man I’m going to work hard to get a gaming room like you bruh! Big up🙏🏿
Thanks! Keep at it and you'll definitely have your own gaming room.😁
iv looked at his site a few times, been waiting for a good review, always wanted a game box from EH but this more affordable for me since times are tough, and having no trackball no big deal, always buy a usb one and then just figure how to set it up lol
oh and i can build cabinet for it and have full arcade machine
I definitely get that. Yes, you can buy a full cabinet from them vs the control panel. You can see all of the units on his website as well as the Shar-kade youtube page.
Did you see the shooter set up sharkade released ?? I'm interested in buying one
Yes and it looks pretty dope as well.
@@dthomasfromnc keep posting quality videos man I'll keep watch !!
Pretty cool but very pricey. Might end up buying one of them drives if I'm able to hook it up to my PC.. btw cool video
Thanks bro! I can say that it's a lot if bang for your buck.
That looks awesome I was thinking of getting the dbz pedestal from them with the beast hdd upgrade
You wouldn't be disappointed. This Control panel packs a major punch.
KEEP EM COMING KING THOMAS 😎👍🏽
I appreciate the love Tito! You on sub GOAT status bro. Wait til I start these live streams.
Dope review DT, but I got two questions. 1. Is it compatible with an active marquee? 2. Do you still prefer the EHA system over this one?
And for that, you get 16TB Hyperspin, 23 Official Sanwa Buttons, 16TB Hyperspin (340+ Systems + TeknoParrot and PC GAMES), sound Activated LED Controller, RGB Fan, 2x wired Xbox 360-like Controllers, 2x Official Sanwa Sticks,
USB ports 3.0 (side), Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD, 16TB SATA III 3.5" Hard Drive, RTX 3060 graphics card, wireless keyboard and mouse, and Wii Controller Kit.
Hope this helped.
what brand model tv is that . do you have the specs? also does this system have sega saturn and 32x? love your videos man !!
The TV is a 60 inch Samsung. And yes, it has Sega Saturn & 32X. I appreciate you for watching. 😊
Thanks. Appreciate u
@@blackmanconcerned4778 You're welcome
looks good but weak punch and kick on the left hand side have been drilled in the wrong place they look up higher than the other buttons, the spec pc one the inside is pretty nuts for an arcade stick but pretty cool fair play.
Button placements seem to be good to me. Nevertheless, you're right about the PC specs. They're pretty insane for a control panel. I appreciate you for watching.
@@dthomasfromnc maybe its the angle in the video they look like there slighty above the rest of them, makes a cool pc case tho.
oh dang.... you finally got one of these sharkade units. Congrats! How is it compared to your Megacade? is it better?
Yeah I finally got one. Shar-Kade internal specs are better. Also, there's no button mapping. Literally plug & play. A lot more user friendly and more portable than the Megacade.
What model tv is that? It looks great playing those games
Samsung 4k QLED

Thank you! TV is 60 inches. I think 50-70 inches would be fine. Just depends on where on how you have your setup. And I'd do 4K. Why not?🤷🏽♂️🤣

Did u ever get that vpin u ordered ? I got my 4 player turtles machine finally. Took a while to get through the port and customs. Nice control deck 👌 Sharkey does good work
Whenever I get a vpin, you'll definitely see a video on it. How are you enjoying your 4 player TMNT machine? And yeah, Sharky does great work.
@@dthomasfromnc I love it . But now I'm thinking I need one of those control decks . Did u have to wait a long time on the shipping ?
It only took me about 6 weeks to get mine. Due to orders coming in, wait time is 8-10 weeks. Still not to much of a long wait. If you do decide to purchase a unit, use the coupon code dthomasfromnc so you can get a discount. 😁
Did you ever figure out what the problem was with the sound with the Marvel vs Capcom 2 game?
Naah. I think it was just the ROM itself.
@@dthomasfromnc Is there an arcade version available on there? I believe that was the Dreamcast version you were playing, right?
Yeah, the arcade version is on here and plays perfectly without the sound hiccup you heard in the Dreamcast version I was playing.
DThomas does Shar-kade have all of the call of duty pc games and console too.
Sharkade doesn't have the latest COD PC titles
Hey D, what is 24TB hard drive (add-on) for? Is it just adding more games?
24TB get a bigger expansion on PS3 titles (like 250+ if I'm not mistaken), access to those PS5, Nintendo Switch catolog, and PC titles like High on Life, Miles Morales, Evil West, Stray, Etc. It's definitely worth the upgrade.
I don't suppose you can hook it up and use it on your Xbox live account and play online with these games in some way or another?
Naah, this is offline. 😁
Hi d Thomas does this unit upload new games for the newer consoles as they come out antomatically?
You can add the newer games yourself (if you know how to). It doesn't automatically do it over the internet.
Do they sell just a PC with all of those games on it without an arcade board? I'm a controller person.
If I'm not mistaken, you can buy the hard drive by itself.
One question d Thomas dies the machine have X-men nfl blitz marvel vs cap on 2 dragons lair golden tee killer instinct terminator 2 ridge racer simpsons tmnt turtles in time and street fighter 2 mortal kombat 1234 all arcade version of games by the way just want to know? Thanks
Yes, those games are all here.
Question : Do all the Teknoparrot games display properly on a 4K TV? I heard there's problems with image scaling on certain games like SegaRace TV?
Hi can you tell me does this have scarface and the godfather games. I'm thinking of buying one, thank you 😊
These are all the titles I found on the Control Panel via the search...
1. The Godfather 2 - PS3
2. The Godfather Mob Wars - PSP
3. The Godfather - Commodorre Amiga
4. The Godfather - Atari
5. Scarface The World is Yours - Wii & PSP
Hope this helps. If you do decide to purchase, don't forget to apply the coupon code "dthomasfromnc" for a discount.
Now the question is is it worth it because I went to the website and it's not cheap it is close to the price of a megacade
The Shar-Kade was close to Megacade price? Are you talking about the control panel or something else?
@@dthomasfromnc the control panel I was looking into possibly getting one but after pricing it out I noticed that it was almost close to the price of getting a Mega cabinet with shipping and everything I'm looking at almost. Close to $4,000 where I know in a previous video I comment on under one of your videos and you told me the Mega arcade cabinet was around $6,000 to $7,000. The reason why I'm writing a comment about it because I was interested in buying one because it's small and compact and doesn't take up a lot of space just wondering no is it worth it or not
Thanks d Thomas just ordered does it have Microsoft Windows?
Congrats on your order. Hope you used the discount code to save some $. Windows...naah🤣

Do you prefer the cabinet or a set up like this?
The cabinet looks cool in the game room. But having a setup like this is cool as well. It all depends on what you're going for. But to answer your question, I like having both. I've had a few friends and coworkers over and they do find the control panel more attractive because of its size and power. But everyone has a prefernece.
How unfortunate no xbox on shar-kade :(
I was disappointed to not see the original xbox in the megacade either. I am hopeful for a future drive that has OG xbox.
Tbh I wont bother with xbox , most dont emulate great also most you can find the PC version for
