Price reflects all the R&D ..at some point economies of scale will kick in. For the US market just a bit too under powered at 60mph and 80mile range wont be enough for most. If they get that to 75mph and 120m range and figure out way so that getting in and out is easier for tall drivers and to hide away rear bench seats it would be slam dunk in the US at around $25k US. It's got a plastic body.. I'd like to see how it rates in US crash testing.

In 2013 it was on the market for £16,995 - certainly will not be getting one now!
well wait till you can get one used electric cars depreciate like mad so be patient you'll get one at the price you want to pay if you wait
Maybe get £5,000 grant if you are lucky ?
