The Majesty is a very unique instrument with a lot of great sounds, but one has to understand it a bit to get the most out of it!

Indeed the name of the artist is Jibbäle Bubälle and he plays in a folk-grunge band called Le Dream du Teatre.
I like very much watching a review not biased by the reviewer‘s personal guitar idols.
Very nice instruments, with beautiful woods, and well thought-out use of technology.
On the review itself,selection of amps with distorted tones... Marshall, AC, Marshall, Morgan, Freidman Synergy...
A lot of overlap, a lot of similarity, particularly when you have THAT collection. I rarely hear a Diezel, Engl, or more metal oriented amps, with the exception of the Revv (a great amp but I'd like more tones in this genre, please). Although I listen to, appreciate, play on my instruments, and enjoy, many types and genres of music, I play more metal than anything else.
I really enjoy your videos, and my wife and I were very happy you discessed the company, what the management is like, in terms of policies and philosophies, and how they treat the employees (because this DOES matter).
Shows how versatile these guitars are. Kudos 🎉
I'm sure someone already commented this, the "wings" on the body of the Tiger Eye Majesty are actually alder, not mahogany.
Can't help but think that the Petrucci guy was inspired for the shape of the Majesty with the ergonomic design by the Joe Satriani Ibanezeseses.
This "Petrucci guy", whom you so eloquently refer to, was actually inspired by the ergonomics of sports cars - especially BMWs.

Really liked the first song...the Majesty can be a very good rock guitar!
The closest guitar I have to this is probably my PRS HBii. This too comes with a Piezo and double Humbucker style guitar with the option to blend in the Piezo like this or split the magnetic and Piezo to 2 different amps. Its light too being a Hollowbody...
However, it doesn't have the option to boost, to reverse the phase, the thin neck/flat fretboard or a trem system but, thanks to the maple back and hollowbody style, it looks amazing from the back. No backplates mounted on top, no backplates recessed either because it has no backplates. It looks stunning from both the back and front.
Another alternative to this is another PRS - the Custom P24 - a custom 24 with a Piezo. It has a 5 way blade (as per usual for these guitars - not just the 3way as this) and recessed back plates too. It has the Pattern Thin neck but has a 10" radius - not as thin and flat as the Majesty and doesn't have the boost or need for batteries.
I do like the shape and aesthetic of the Majesty, I like the functionality too but not sure about a very thin neck. I prefer a bit of girth (LMAO) but what really puts me off is the back of these. It looks cheap in my opinion - half of the back covered with protruding plastic. I would rather have the bigger jack plate that PRS use to house a battery and two jacks (1 for the Piezo and the other for both Piezo and Magnetics - easier than having a stereo cable to some 'splitter' to send the Piezo one way and the Magnetics another. I bet Stereo cables are not easy to find and expensive too.
I would love a Majesty Monarchy because from the front, they look stunning and unique. If money was no object, I wouldn't hesitate on adding one but, with the cost, I want a guitar that I am 100% happy with - and that includes what it looks like from the rear too. I know I would be very happy with the PRS Custom P24 as I have a PRS Custom 24, happy with the neck, the fretboard radius, the PU's etc where as I would be less happy with the Majesty and, if I want a 'boost', I can always do what everyone else does. I can make do without the reverse phase to have the extra dual options (Positions 2 and 4 - the HS and SS options) that PRS offers.
Both are 'expensive at the end of the day so both need careful consideration before parting with that money and some may prefer the Majesty but that is their choice.
Those plastic Covers you are referring to are actually powder coated steal and of high quality ' to me very cool steampunk look to it might not be for everyone . That being said I love my Majesty's and my PRS's I can honestly say I've never played anything that feels better or functions and plays better than a Majesty...
Love your videos Henning! The difference is that the tiger eye actually has an alder body with a full maple cap compared to the "normal" 2019 majesty With mahagony body and maple shield.

Henning, those are such awesome guitars. I'm pretty sure I'd take the really nice limited over a 1959 Gibson LP ReIssue with the long tenon, etc., etc. That's saying a lot because I thing Gibson LPs are really sexy looking guitars. But I'm pretty sure your Music Men Limited Editions got them beat. Thanks for the video man!!

what free guitar? There is no free guitar.... EVER.
On the previous one, the tuners weren't great... I didn't have those issues on those... Schaller must have sent out a good batch for once. It's hit or miss with them these days.

The December 2018 Marine Blue Sparkle, Charred Silver, and few others don't have the first fret logo or fret markers.

It's really uncanny that in 10 seconds with a few faces you can relay that the back cavity covers are not recessed.
I like the steampunkish looks of the back of the guitar ' and all of the cover's are metal which adds to it in my opinion.
That Feel comment.. you should try my 1995 Parker fly. It’s like an early incarnation of this guitar. Soooo comfortable to play, light as hell.
Ampete is €1600. I got a two-way switcher from Radio Shack for about $5. The vocals should be up more in the mix. Love my 98 Axis Sport. But I love my Teles more.
please don't use the Radio Shack switcher, you will ruin your amps... they need a load.... you need a dedicated amp switcher... please tell me you were joking!
Nice review. I think they sound different. Not hugely different but different. I love the 7 string. 'That guy' who is reputed to play this guitar must be cracking up. At 52:00 minutes; truer words were {almost} never spoken. I have an early Majesty, the Copper Fire 6 string. Great guitar, great sound and feel, zero problems. I really wanted an Arctic Dream 7 string (so sue me, I like the color) but have never seen any. I settled for a JP16-7, but it is not the same; missing the piezo, different ergonomics. Nice neck though. I went looking again this week, and took that Tiger Eye home, in 7 strings.

Saw him once in some video or something... You won't believe it, but this guy really has potential! Comes up with some nice riffs and stuff, maybe has to work on his shredding a bit, its always a bit sloppy imho... But hey, he's young, when he's older he might become better and better!

The Tiger Eye costs 6000 Euros, that’s ridiculous and way too much for an added Maple top. Anyway EBMM are overpriced in the EU.
I watched the whole video although I am a lousy intermediate bedroom-player and I am fine with affordable old school Les Pauls and Tellys, and I would never be interested in a modern high-grade guitar. Why? Because of animals at the end. Is there a button on youtube to fast-forward like on my tape deck?

Its not that if he is showing guitars or pedals, he puts strips on these instruments etc to not show the model or even the company name of the instrument. I find that JPs stuff should at least get his due with mentioning his name. But thats just me. ;)
