Thanks for the great informative video on a really nice model! These UK OO models are really a million times better than what I remember as a kid in the seventies. I've been in the model railway hobby a long time, and the quality on offer today truly surpasses anything that may have gone before! Well done!
Great review. The best way to tell the cabs apart is the WIPAC lights. The original cab has the lights low, near the "buffer beam", and the new cab has the lights about half way up the yellow front panel. Andrew
for your info will, 153333 went from CT to London Midland. and has been on loan now to First Great Western for roughly two year now, and has recently been brought buy FGW and is still running in London Mid- livery as she hasnt been repainted to FGW along with 153325 which is running in london mid-
This class 153 is down here in Cornwall i think,I see it going over the viaduct on a regular basis, Some times with a FGW 153 or a FGW 150.Just a bit of general knowledge I don't mind being your assistant ;) Haha! Nice Review Once Again Will
This review was...riveting ;) I too get these a lot to Derby, from Longton or Stoke. I love the sound they make but they're so loud if you sit in the wrong place!
Yes Will I do want one of these! Really good review & I don't have one of these. Could you please recommend on how many cars one would run with this? Thank you, cheers, John.
reading up on the loco itself and the destination blinds say Walsall - Wolverhampton (my local route but it goes now via Birmingham New St) where it was a direct route and only took 10 mins but the route got took off in 2008.
OK Will thanks....I do understand but I do like to have at least a dummy car....making a minimum of a 2 car set set. I'll check things out on this. Best as always, cheers, John.
Well done, you have successfully added another loco to my to by list :3 One minor thing, you realy need to get a bachmann dynamis. It a million times better than the hornby controllers!
153333 is actually with First group now with a vinyl sticker over it stating: "Visit south Devon by train". I actually got on 153333 to get down to Dawlish
I have a feeling the front bit is attached to the bogey to soon it from snapping against the rail. The front grill on my oo class 67 came off a couple of days ago. :/. She is my fav train
I got one not realising it was dcc fitted, not dcc ready. I therefore need to take the chip out, but soon i plan to get my layout dcc before may 2015. Could you do a vid on REMOVING a chip please?
Are you getting the new Class 153 from Hornby Greater Anglian livery or not I think I might very soon I got already a class 153 Arriva Northern Rail Trains but might get another soon.
Hi will been wondering of getting a arriva Wales 153 by hornby or the 158 by bachmann when I get my layout running Which one would you recommend more 153 or 158
Im getting a second one but I dont know which one out of East Midlands, Northern Rails, Central Trains, greater Anglian or London Midland can you help me I need to choose and soon!

The thing I like about these models is you can pick them up for a bargain and they're so easy to DCC!
Hornby's 153's are made to impress. Good video :)

yeah they're really good. Really good models. Bachmann hardcore fanboys must hate them.
Looks like he added some stuff close to the end, makes it better.
Course then we'll get the Special Edition soon with more effects :D
lol okay?? I'll do my best to keep the vids coming!
they're great just on their own John! Honestly.
it's an ongoing joke about the paper always looking like it's been shredded by a cat
East midlands, in my opinion, is the best one. The livery is the nice stagecoach modern livery. It's just so nice!

Great video well done. 'Ive got one its the london midland. I have had no problem with it what so ever. It is a good train.
Well done, you have successfully added another loco to my to by list :3
One minor thing, you realy need to get a bachmann dynamis. It a million times better than the hornby controllers!
thanks for the comment and info!
I'll do a video on how to chip them, as I want another in RR or Arriva.
Amazing vid once again

I will NEVER get a cat. Trust me. And the LMS Garratt is on the must-have list!

Yeah I've seen it on the railcams there in Dawlish
Yeah, I saw it and filmed it in person twice when I went recently in August.
I just know when you open the Bachmann 108 you'll love it, she's a beauty for £69 :)
I like the Class 08 brigade on the siding.
haha lol Hornby are producing some good models now not just the budget ones

Ill be an assistant! Best job EVER
no no no - it'll be a top of the range Gaugemaster.
thanks for the comment! It is just 153s tho - save apostrophes! :P
thanks for the info!
lol you comment more on the trainers than the trains! They are Nike BWs I got in 2008 I think.
some will be given sound - but I'm not going overboard with it.
you should get the first great western livery class 153
He certainly should, it's awesome, and it's destination blinds are of my local route!
He has like three already, I dont think more is needed ;)
@Robert Howarth
There's some of them in Arriva Trains Wales livery
I've driven one of these (virtually)
Amazing!
I have a arriva one and livery is very detailed
I have a feeling the front bit is attached to the bogey to soon it from snapping against the rail. The front grill on my oo class 67 came off a couple of days ago. :/. She is my fav train
I do need a 153 in Arriva actually.
Would of liked to see you open it up more
The drivers cab on this train is usually called a dog box
saw one on mid cheshire line coupple weeks ago
Got two!
I treated myself to one of these for my 16th Birthday
I've ordered the class 153 in central trains
And I've just ordered a class 158 in central trains
check the IC82 database for that info
Class 153 should definitely have 2 coaches in my opinion
At 14:35 :Thats a very nice 153 you have there...
Great vid will totally agree with what you say also how do you get the body off them the instructions arnt much help so please can you tell me?
You sounded like Rob Bryan at 1:35 when he was on Gavin and Stacie.
Great review though
You should get the arriva trains wales one and the you can consist the two together to make it a 3 car dmu
the original was missing about 3 mins of footage
that creeper shows up REAL soon!
Why is there a piece of rail in the middle of the track at the points where he first puts it on the track
You can turn a 155 into a 153. That's like turning 12 before 11!
You haven't yet got one? Jaike? What are you playing at? lol
lewis thompson: awesome train I have it in northern rail livery
lol I have to say thanks somehow!
what do u think? ;)
yeah keep an eye on that creeper, it appears again soon!
I got one not realising it was dcc fitted, not dcc ready. I therefore need to take the chip out, but soon i plan to get my layout dcc before may 2015. Could you do a vid on REMOVING a chip please?
the buzzers mainly known as "ding ding & away
Frist vid is this Friday
Are you getting the new Class 153 from Hornby Greater Anglian livery or not I think I might very soon I got already a class 153 Arriva Northern Rail Trains but might get another soon.
Why re-uploaded? I didn't see anything wrong with the other one? Still had to watch it all the way though though. :)
Isn't that where the snow plough should be so it could clear the track
haha! and trainers!
lol yeah but you have plenty of time to get one!
Class 153/3 was in central train not now in London midlands in one cart
Light it too
Do a vid about the greater Anglia DMU 153
15:12 I will get one in east midlands!
Hi will been wondering of getting a arriva Wales 153 by hornby or the 158 by bachmann when I get my layout running Which one would you recommend more 153 or 158

Im getting a second one but I dont know which one out of East Midlands, Northern Rails, Central Trains, greater Anglian or London Midland can you help me I need to choose and soon!
i have strip lighting in my class153 NR
the driver and the conductor still use buzzers now
Epic train i love the colour i would love to get one of those. But that would be too expensive for me coz im only 14 oh well
a muilty unit mean if it has 2 drivers cabs
When are you bringing out series 4!?
"What have we got tonight" that IS what she said lol
Is there going to be a class 60 in series 4.
i thought i saw a red light on the unit at 4:31 i have seen this on other trains and its weird
Hornby have discontinued them. Any idea where I can get one?
Can you do a project fitting dcc sound
Does super detail mean premieum?
i through you had 2of them which would look nice if the other one was going the other way lol.
There's one in fgw and gwr livery
Make a video on how to make a layout it would be really popular pleaaaaaase
Can you review a class 323
R u going to get sound chips for your trains
I think you like class 153s, don't know why :-)
I sense horby having a joke here, her number
153333
They chose that number just because it has so many 3's in it
Maybe 3 is hornbys favourite number lol
do a video with the creeper riding the 153 LOL
