- The Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit (MRT) system serving the city of Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Maharashtra, India. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is the responsible authority for maintaining the metro system. Maha Metro is responsible for all the metro rail projects undergoing in Maharashtra except the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. The system is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the city, and supplement the overcrowded Mumbai Suburban Railway network.

Thank you again Droneman for the informative video which gives us regular updates on the infrastructure projects in Mumbai. Let’s hope all these projects collectively reduce congestion in and around Mumbai. Just a small suggestion, please use some different colour font for the Station names as it was not clearly visible in this video.
Dahisar toll naka ka traffic Mira Bhayander tak jata hai. Hopefully this metro relieves some congestion
Mumbai metro work is the slowest work of all projects in india
First phase from Dahisar to Kashigaon looks to be on track for opening by Dec 2025 or at max April 2026 since Charkop Depot and the siding tracks will be used to park trains. the section from Kashigaon to Subhash Chandra Bose stadium will only start once Metro Line 2B is connected to 2A, thus enabling trains from Mandale Depot also to provide services on Line 7,7A and 9. The main challenge however will be to connect the Depot of Line 9 to Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium since that will require a 4.5 km extention.
are you sure about phase wise opening? Phase 1 upto kashigaon was initially planned but plan dropped now I think. whole line in one phase only.
@@nitinverma1795 Initially it was proposed that Phase 1 will be from Dahisar to Kashigaon. I do not know whether they made the whole Line into 1 phase later on.For the whole Line to be Phase 1, I guess there will need to be more trainsets. With the existing setup of siding tracks and Charkop Depot, only 6-7 trainsets may be available which I do not know whether it will be enough to operate the whole of Line 9. If Mandale Depot is connected to Line 2A, then the whole of Line 9 and 7A can run as one phase. This is just according to my limited knowledge about Metro. Please pardon me if I am wrong.
none of the metro stations are close to the wester suburban line except andheri.. we needed atleast 1 station either dahisar or bhayander to be closer to the western line. Very bad planning.

don't know why but yes in mumbai most of the buildings like that has blue roof
@@dronemanYT Maybe due to monsoon. They want the terrace to be accessible all the time.
Old building have leakage or seepage issues so they build a roof. It helps the building residents but makes the city look ugly.

Some constructive feedback: when the major backdrop of the video is black, grey or white, it's advisable to use other strong colors like 🔴 🟢🟡 🔵 for captions, graphics, boxes and arrow markers. You can also use larger and better 🅕Ⓞ🅝Ⓣ🅢. Try and experiment with fonts and colors before uploading the video OR try sharing the unfinished video to a small group (test group) or to your subscribers first - to get honest feedback from them. It will save you lots of time and make the captions and content in your videos more readable for viewers.

Goverment can start this line by march 2025 if work can speed up. Not much work left and only work left on beurcarcy of babus
Car shed work at Uttan is yet to begin. Line 9 cannot start without that car shed. Not sure if Charkop car shed can cater to this line or part of this line.

Mumbai West is yellow line, Mumbai east is red line. Dahisar is the point where both lines meet. That's why you can also see the red line in this same time stamp. Metro line 9( mira Bhayandar) will be the extension of line 7(red line/east side line.) That's why it's Red.
