Hello, Something I do not understand on ClonerAlliance Box Pro there is no hard disc (info that comes from the company) is it the same here, if it is the case how does it keep the data. Thanks for your time.
I had started a DVR experiment, but had to pause due to floods & relo. Hope to resume next year. You might be interested? First, Plex supports liveTV via HDhomeRun tuners. But... You can download/create soft/virtual tuners!!! So, no purchases required, thus far! Plex will then provide DVR functionality. Granted, you need some storage/drives/NAS. But, that's true for ANY DVR solution. You can point the virtual homerun tuners to any IPTV source (e.g. internet feeds.) What I was planning to do, was modulate/Convert FTA channels into IPTV steams on my home network. You can also assign your own channel line-up, and set it up to then automatically download two weeks of guide data, too! The only MAIN issue that I ran into, is a channel # limit on Plex. I think the limit was 450 channels per media server? I hadn't reached that limit (yet.) But, was planning to! I figured I'd just build a second plex server (450 more channels.) They would all be saving recorded content to the same/single NAS arrays, anyway. (We watch most of our content after-the-fact, not live.) Plex can strip the commercials, so watching afterwards in commercials-free. It's a great way to build your collection of old content via reruns! MASH, Friends, House, Gilligan's Island, whatever is airing, can be recorded, saved, cleaned. Keep up the great work!
What if you want to record what you’re watching on any streaming app, or if you have a Wii hooked up to the TV, the AV Composite input on your tv? It’ll still let you record as long as you hold the codec button for 5 to 10 seconds first to just record anything displayed on your tv?

It records it to a thumb drive which is like a hard drive. You can use a USB hard drive as well or just use a thumb drive

@@RobbieStrikeyeah, it should be, because you can record video gameplays too.

Might be good for peacock
Possibly, what do you mean by that. I am confused
You DO NOT show the back of the TV to show how to hook up. You blab like everybody else.
