these only work during the day due to the bright fluorescent film around the hook. when the sun hits them in the water they shine like fish scales. pro tip: for night fishing, put a minuscule piece of squid on each hook of the sabiki. just not too big as to cover the hook, most times the fish arent able to get the squid off and still get hooked. edit: i love fishing at the skyway😊
What I like to do is grab a block of frozen brine shrimp, toss a few chunks into the water and use a sabiki designed like tiny shrimp to toss along with the frozen brine shrimp and have it sway from the currents to make it look realistic and I catch many fish with that tactic.
Sometimes that’s the only action at the skyway lol. My kid loves it
