Since this question is coming up all the time: Yes, I am still VERY happy with my decision to get the surgery. It's been around 10 years now, my eyes and vision are still great, I never regretted my decision and I would do it again in a heartbeat 🙂
How was the pain managed and did it work? Is there any recommendations for before surgery, I plan on taking some codeine shortly before.
Hope you have a smooth recovery Khaldor, thanks for the update.
Great to hear how well it went! Thanks for doing these blogs, Its great to see how things are done in a totally different culture
You just made me get the surgery as well. I think more people than you realize appreciate those videos.
Looking great man, glad it went well, I have an appointment next Tuesday, hope everything goes well 🙏
I'm happy to hear the surgery went well! And it was interesting to hear what they do in the recovery process. I've never heard of the blood-eye drop thing.
so happy for you!
Good video to watch a couples days before surgery. Thank you 👌
How is your vision now please
Thanks for the upload. It's interesting to hear about the before and after feelings. As someone with pretty excellent vision, I love hearing your perspective on being able to see more easily in times you once were not able to. Hope your recovery is speedy. Excited to hear more about the recovery process. Cheers
I had a Lasek surgery as well. Its almost 2 months after it and im feeling great, any problems excluding 2 days of pain at beginning, but now its very good. Changed my life for sure. Hope It will be fine for you as well! :)
How is your vision now please
Thank you, that was so helpful. I'm having my eyes done in three weeks and found your video very reassuring. Thanks again.
How did it go?
Khaldor is on stimpack :D. Kidding. Good recovery man!!!. Can't wait to see you back in action :). glgl
Wow. I'm happy for you man. I'm 28 and always wanted to get it done myself, but never had the spare cash.
And yes, *everyone* who wears glasses or contacts can relate.
You should totally go swimming sometime too!
Not being blind at a pool must be awesome!
You did it?
best of luck on the recovery khaldor.
Weiterhin gute Besserung! ;)
Thanks Khaldor. I'm a person looking at eye surgery in the future but I'm pathetic as fuck so I've been really scared of it, but you've really cleared up a lot of my fear. I'll be sure to rewatch this before I go in
Don’t ever call yourself pathetic.
Thank you for the update :)
This is really helpful thank you!!!
thanks for sharing your experience
Thanks for your video.....grate and helpful. thank you san
I had lasik done back in 2005. Im looking at retreatment with Lasik again very soon. 1st time was painless but a bit apprehensive this time!
Good for you in this decision. It's been a year now since your Lasek surgery, I hope your vision is still doing OK.
Still perfect, no regrets
@@Khaldor how is your vision now?
How the vision today?
I thought exactly the same (these veins, man) :-) Good to see you ok, Khaldor!
Thank you for sharing expirience sir .tomorrow my.laser both cataract so lessen my nervouse.
Thanks for sharing your experiences with a LASEK surgery. I'm sick of my glasses and unfortunately my eyes won't accept contact lenses, so I'm thinking about that surgery. I'm still on the fence in terms of the risks involving a surgery but now I'm more confident.
How did you go?
This really helped my pre-surgery anxiety!
I'm still very glad I did it and would do it again immediately!
How did it go? Do you get halos or any issues at night with lights? Also how is dryness?
thanks for the videos kahldor, originally being from korea i always wanted to go back and get the surgery, this video was very informative :)
just a few questions tho, i heard you should wait till your 25 to get it done when ur vision stops changing as much, is this true??
also did u need like a guardian to take u back after the surgery?
/
I know exactly what you're talkin' about with the not being able to see thing. I really want to get similar surgery, gonna look in to it knowing it's that easy & painless. Expensive here in the US, but I think it'll be worth it.
That is a great deal. I checked with 3 places and this was the lowest by a fair margin (plus they offered 0% financing for 12/mo). Enjoy the new eyes. Mine was about 2 yrs ago and still perfect vision. The halo stuff fades over time but that takes a bit.
How are your eyes now? Is there any pain or symptoms of any kind and has your eyesight deteriorated at all?
hey KhaldorTV, so it has been 8 years since this video. How would you say your eyes / night vision / side affects are today?
Good to hear that it's going great!
Good Luck with the next couple of days, hope it doesn't get too bad.
Did they say anything about cooking (fumes/onions and stuff xD)?
Sounds pretty similar to my surgery. No contacts were put in for me though. Cost about $1500/eye for me. Best money ever spent. Lasik Plus was great and they are everywhere.
I did my surgery lasy week. When do u think I can go back to gym!? I also take hgh for muscle growth but its cool.
I have trouble focusing my eyes on a point for a long time, they involuntarily twitch and look around periodically.
haha I wish ^^ I'm not allowed to go to the gym (or do any other sports for that matter) for 7-10 days
I’ve got my LASEK surgery on 4th October! How long did it take for your eye sight to become 20/20?
How are your eyes now? I've just paid the deposit to get mine done - but its long term I'm most curious about considering the amount of money you pay
hi! what was your eye prescription? thanks!
Hi! Could you post video about how is your sight after all those years? :)
Great to "see" you're doing well Khaldor. Guess that casting is way too stressfull now. Hope that the coming days are going well 4 U
When can you start using your phone or laptop?
I think Lasek is worth it since it is half the price of Lasik!
Is everything ok with your eyes two years later?
yeah..i think you're right^^
Thats exactly the same experience I had.
how are ur eyes right now bro? ,im considering this surgery
Second day off lasik im 20 did it all laser was quick and after surgery you can see pretty well but its after a bit first 2hrs your eyes will feel like filled with soap and you have to wait it out was kinda bad but it wares off next morning im doing well they offerd a xanax but i didint feel any effect. I didint do any blood tests though. But god damn this is amazing iv had glasses since 8. Gl all
You are naturally funny
how bad were your eyes before surgery?
Ah yes, I burn my feet regularly, I get you Khaldor
Khaldor, you should open a channel for fitness tips
oh no! Your gains!!!!!
are there any downside to Lasek? It sounds like a miracle o.O
Man i got more info and advice from..you then the doctor thanks..
1500 USD for both eyes? Seems good to me, I got -4.5 Dioptrin.. :/
it looks that our specimen's muscular structure is much more advanced that ours.his genes seem to have evolved to the point where they produce protein by absorbing carbs and sodium.
I Gotta Tell You, I Love Laser Eye Surgery
My Favorite Part, is Watching the Laser in Action
After 7 years ... How is ur eyes vision.... Do u advice me take this step?🙊
That "eyedrops" must be just your serum. It contains some antibodies (and should be sterile if handled correctly), perhaps they add some further antimicrobial agents as well.
Because if you get an infection at this vulnerable site, you really in for some problems...
You should give us an update 5 years from now.
Hi khaldor,
It's been now nearly 7 years gone .
How about your vision now ?
Can u share your experiences
Still happy and would do it again in a heartbeat
Just came home from mine. Surgery is a bit scary, it's anxiety inducing, your vision goes dark at a certain point, and the walk back is annoying, having your vision all blurry. Right now I'm tearing up a lot, I have an eye protection, but I notice that I can still see farther, but not the license plates at the end of the street. Hopefully it will improve even more. That said, it's mild, as far as surgeries go.
How is it now?
@@nobrokies9030 Recuperation was straightforward and I had no symptoms after a few days. I did have one problem, which is that at far distances, one of my eyes sees better than the other. There was still a big improvement to my vision, of course. Make sure your doctor measures your sight correctly so the results are optimal.
Hi, thank you for your video, how are your eyes and vision now 9 years later?
great, would do it again in a heartbeat
Its 2017. How are your eyes now?? Please reply i have a consultation this weekend but i am very nervous 😩
Farescape 98 I did LASEK 1 month ago, have you gone through it yet?
Could you walk immediately after the surgery or you had to wait?
I was in a dark room for maybe half an hour to give the eyes some time to rest and then went home by myself using public transport. Better of course if you have somebody with you, but yes you are good to go after the procedure is done.
What's the difference between Lasek and Lasik and which is safer?
Lasek dissolves the top layer of your Cornea (the Epithelium) off, and then lets it grow back under the protective contact lens. This is usually used when someone's cornea is quite thin.
Lasik slices the top of the cornea and makes a flap, which they then flap back over once they've finished the laser treatment. Typically heals alot faster and is more popular due to this, but can't be done on everyone
You look like you would be humming,. "I'm too sexy"
Hi, can I ask you why you choose lasek over lasik? Thank you
Vatna Lament some people are unable to have LASIK due to the thickness of the front layer of the eye. If it’s too thin they have to do LASEK, or some people can’t have it at all.
@@jackfuller7801 hi, thank you for the reply. I've been offered to choose as my cornea is ok and it looks like lasek is a overall better option
woah.... she touched your arm?! This story is heating up!! Wish i had a warning in the description sheeeeesh!
It's $5600 USD (4590GBP) for LASEK both eyes in the UK. Looking at the comments it looks cheaper to travel and treat my eyes in the USA while staying with friends.
No way. I've seen so many lasek for £1500 per eye.
@@ninjakid09 the price is calculated as per prescription...with my - 11 i paid 7000£, considering the risks, they recommended lasek surgery and there is a chance for me to end up with -2 after one year...still -2 is better than -11.
It was $1100 for both eyes for me.
@cestanca2274 hiii,i'm 21 and-11 rn how is ur vision currently and how was the recovery procedure for you
Khaldor, any tips for effectively getting big arms?
Get Lasik for optimal performance
Greetings from germany, schwerin, ur the best Caster and u need to had hair in time =D
How are your eyes now , is everything still okay ?
Yes, still great and still happy with the decision
Hii... please can u make a video about ur eyes.. years after surgery... please..there is people who really have this question......
I already did a final video on the issue and nothing has changed since then. Still happy with the results, would definitely do it again.
It's funny how he uses the word alien abduction every time
So what is the outcome a year later?
I'm super happy with the surgery and would do it again. Only regret is that I didn't do it sooner
So that's how he got those superman vibes in his videos:
Laser Eyes!
Noted..
pretty sure that khaldors "slight discomfort" already means "unbesrable pain" for others :D
I have -3.5 and -4.2 and I know what are you talking about. I cant see shit without my glasses :D
How is your vision nowadays.. still good?
Still very happy with the decision, yes
Haha, told you it was like an alien abduction. Still, those 15 minutes of discomfort are totally worth it.
hahaha i think so to!
I wanted to ask you a couple questions about your experience with LASEK.
I had my procedure done 18 days ago at a surgical center in Florida. From this time in the recovery process, what was your experience compared to mine on the following subjects:
1. Clarity: my right eye seems to be pretty clear but my left eye has this constant haziness. It's not crisp.
2. Night vision: my vision at night, low light, is really bad. It's extremely blurry and can almost be jarring. Lights have a very large bloom.
3. Reading on electronic devices: I've noticed that black text on white backgrounds is hardest to see. The effect is similar to all the text having a shadow4. Visual improvement: after getting the contacts removed my eyesight was awful for a couple days. It then became much clearer. However, over the past week I have seen little to no change in either left or right eye.
Well shit man r u ok now? Sounds like weak recovery or need for a extra surgury to fix? Read my comment my vision is pretty strong but not 20/20 its been 1 day im 20yrsold i did get LASIK
Update?
at the end did u shout this is fucking awsome
Those are probably prp eye drops
what if u get the other surgery? do u watch them slice ur eye open D: DL D:
YES! **evil laugh**
what?
I had -4,25 on both eyes
KhaldorTV Those data and the other values they concluded at your eye exam are vital info, otherwise your experience doesnt say shit and is of no value.
@@patrikpatriksson who gives a fuck?
@@user-ep8vs9fy4y Anyone looking for information and not just listening to some dudes experience.
@@patrikpatriksson Well if it’s pointless info to you just ignore it lmfao, maybe someone wanted to know how well his vision was before.
Who you walk up to a random stranger and say this?
Sounds like you went to Dream Eye in Gangnam? That's where I'm going tomorrow for my Lasek ;D
Jeffrey Gilliland how did it go?? I am thinking of going there
In my opinion it's about the same as hearing bad things about Bungee Jumping tbh ;)
Medicine is quite op, that's for sure.
I bet Khador was stopping people on the street and say : Hey you see that panel at the third floor there? the guy : No I don't. Khaldor : Well I can ( u mad bro?)
Oh and I paid like 2500 zl which is about 600€ for both eyes ;)
whuuuuut?!!!! average is like 4000 EUROS
Warum redest du nicht mehr in Deutsch? :s
looks like khaldor just did arm's at the gym
For some reason i think your arms should be cencored.
I paid $1500 for both eyes. The surgery is really cheap here in Korea
KhaldorTV I wonder how much for the flight from the usa and overnight stay
This videos funny
