I just found your channel. You do a great job with your step by step instructions, explaining you process, ect. I installed a pioneer 4600w nex in my 2011 highlander limited with JBL and factory nav. I used the maestro RR to keep my SW control, add ODB II and use of the factory USB and AUX. No other cable's/ harness were need to keep those items OEM functionality. You videos helped me figure out the OEM backup camera wires. Thanks for the help
I believe in supporting local business but i really am going to have issues next vehicle i buy not wanting to make an appointment with y'all if you're still working Dean and Fernando your vides are impressive and don't make me want to install it myself
You guys are amazing. I installed the 4200 in my 08 denali. It's incredible. Can you guys show how to connect the over head TV and the headrest monitors so they all show what is playing from the head unit. Think I got my master headrest wires mixed up. Keep up the great work.

Hey just want to say I need help with my Toyota Highlander 2013 no jbl no back cam just a basic radio need help to find wire harness to keep factory button thank n hope u help me thank u for your time
I’m working on a 2013 Highlander now and adding a pioneer aftermarket screen but need your help please!! I’m doing the same as you and trying to retain the factory camera… I bought a 12v to 6v step down adapter too but need help with that harness you bought as to how to wire it…. I have the Retention harness but also received a extra wire (think it’s purple with a black line) and don’t know where it goes.. it has a clip like it goes into a harness… Here’s what the instructions say that I’m lost with…. 4. Insert the pin located on the end of the red wire into the pin 12 location in the 20 pin connector of the RP4.2-TY11. This pin is located next to the red/white programmable +12v output. See Fig. 2. If an RP4.2-TY11 is not being used along with this harness then the red wire will need to connect to +6v. This may require an adapter to step down the voltage from +12v to +6v. Can you please tell me on a 2013 Highlander non amped and no Bose…. What to do about the 6v or extra pin for a harness??? Thanks a million and love watching your videos!!!!
Anyone know which pin on the factory radio harness is reverse wire? In the video he tested the wire but did not mentioned anything regard to which wire for reverse.
I figured it out. Pin 2 (REV) red wire on the 28pin female plug. Looking directly at the plug from the pin side, it is the 2nd pin from the left, top row. Pin 1 is Green in wire color.
Hey, I have a 2008 highlander and it looks almost the same as this one. I installed the 4100NEX radio unit on it but haven’t quite purchased any harness for keeping the factory steering wheel controls because, I want to make sure I get the right one. My biggest concern is with the multi information display that’s on top of the radio. Is there a way to keep the display button on the steering wheel working with that display?
Also, if you guys wouldn't mind going into a little more detail as far as what to do if I do want to add a third party backup camera using the ty11 to a pioneer 2330nex, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for they great videos guys!
I am using this smart harness on my Sienna 2006 (with JBL) with a Pioneer W4400NEX. I have found that the blue/white cable is not providing my glass antenna amplifier with enough voltage (only 2.3 V or so), so I had to connect my car side wire to the ACC lead, in order to get my AM and FM antenna amplified., and left the PAC side blue-white disconnected.

By any chance do you sell the harness
Is that USB/AUX socket combo you installed there a dedicated Toyota piece? or is it universal?
is there always room in the dash for the i/f module and extra cables?

Hey man what about the cars that have a gauge cluster menu. How do u not lose those controls with a aftermarket radio
Question, what wires do I need to tap into to have reverse camera work on my aftermarket kenwood.
Have you guys done any Mercedes e350 installs?
So the blue wire for the amplified antenna should be found existing in the guts of the car, right? It isn't found on the Pioneer harness?
