very cool, nice looking eBike. 0 to -1 in mid Feb is a treat! I can just imagine the Torontonian folks in the townhouses going 'oh my!', but it's nice to see a Canadian who's able to survive outside on the move. i hope that's something our country doesn't forget how to do in this digital age
What an adventure haha. Yeah I could imagine being worried about the possibility of random encounters and the horror of waking up to that bike being gone.
or the raccoons riding the ebike into the creek lol, i remember bike camping in May in Gatineau Park and the raccoons scratching at my tent all night. had all the food up in a tree, but my mini tube of toothpaste was in the tent with me and that was the only thing i could think they could've wanted from me. or they were just being jerks and wanted to get in my tent
I'd like to see more ebike trips...started using my ebike here just outside London, England to recce some new hammock spots...saves so much footwork having the ebike. Atb, Steve
Me thinking you're crazy with the bright blue tarp for a ground sheet, then thinking about all the homeless camps and random garbage in the woods around here and realising no one will even notice 😁
I think it would be interesting to try these trips on basically every PEV and compare them; off the top of my head: E-skateboards E-bikes E-scooters E-unicycles E-rollerblades (this one might be a stretch, they aren't really meant for any type of long distance travel)
Not only do you lose efficiency by running cold Li-Ion batteries but they could be damaged too! My rule is to never use an unheated Li-Ion pack below freezing temp (also taking into consideration wind chill for skateboard batteries especially)

My channel is all about bridging modern tech and the great outdoors!
I think this might be a solution to my camping transportation needs. Thanks!
This is why I make these vids! Cheers!

You ever camp solo in the woods? You would hear someone coming from a mile away lol

@@MikeInTheWoods oh I have yeah. Still a paranoid thought. I’m always armed in some way haha.

Haha yeah good point. I should think about replacing it with something more muted in color. My bright orange sleeping bag liner doesn't help xD

Most of those are game trails where animals, mostly deer, go to the water to drink.
Makes sense!
👍🏻👍🏻
I like camping but camping in the snow does not appeal to me. The Ebike I super cool though.

Batteries don't care about the qind chill, and its only damaging to charge them below freezing
@@MikeInTheWoods Cold discharging can also damage them.
