If they bring in Rachel they should bring her in when they reveal Lucas' secret. Cory could call up Rachel to help Riley and Lucas through the reveal on both ends. She could teach Riley to not let it affect how she views Lucas and then teach Lucas to let it go or something of those lines. Because Rachel has a dark past too. She was a nude model.

I have to say, I think this might be the best overall episode of the series so far. A+ in my book. It was the most mature of any of the episodes, both in story and humor, yet it was still completely G rated (to appease Disney). THIS is what they need to aim more for in future episodes.

He wasn’t as bad of a slacker as Shawn. So it is funny that he became a teacher. Topanga would be who u would think would become a teacher.

Wow, these scenes really felt like Boy Meets World did, both in terms of humor and heart. Girl Meets World sometimes feels a little overacted to me, but whenever more of the Boy Meets World cast shows up, the acting, tone, etc. seem to dial back a bit to what they should be. I do hope GMW continues, because I think it does have what it takes to reach that level of greatness BMW did
I know this show isn't suppose to be completely dependent on Boy Meets World, but I wish they could make an episode where it's all about Mr. Turner and Shawn tying up any loose ends. I mean come on, he's already done one with Angela. I wish they would more episodes that is all about typing up any loose ends. Blah blah blah yes yes yes, this is not suppose to be Boy Meets World 2.0, I already said that, but this show would be a good opportunity to tie up the loose ends that was left with BMW. Just go onto their IMDB page and look at the ratings for this episode, Mr. Squirrels Goes to Washington (Eric & Tommy reunion), and Girl Meets Coming Home For the Holidays (many of the casts returns). There's clearly a lot of people that is interested in these kinds of episodes.
I hope they do another reboot in 20 years with the same cast. We've seen Corey as a young dad and teacher, it'd be interesting to see him as a veteran teacher and grandfather.
That would be interesting and have the new Cory and Shawn in the modern world where they deal with issues maybe with Media wokeness being a problem that they wanna get to know the world without that lameness and Cory guides em on the right path

James Chin yeah it probably makes more sense in the season 3 finale since Shawn isn’t in Season 2 very much Shawn’s only in 2 epsoides for Season 2,3 epsoides for Season 1 then 3 epsoides for Season 3. He’s only in 8 Epsoides total for the spin off series. So it makes more sense to have the Shawn and mr turner reunion be in the series finale of the spin off
There’s a stark contrast between the acting ability of the kids in boy meets world with the new cast. Kids today just can’t get it done (looking at you too rapidly aging stranger things cast)

Also, even though Cult Fiction was his last appearance on Boy Meets World, when Minkus reprised his role on graduation day (as did Joey and Frankie), he explained that he and Turner both were always around, they were just "in the other part of the school." He then gestured a wave to someone off screen and said, "Hey, Mr. Turner, wait up!" So, he was definitely alive on all accounts. He just hasn't reprised his role UNTIL NOW, in Girl Meets New Teacher.

Also, even though Cult Fiction was his last appearance on Boy Meets World, when Minkus reprised his role on graduation day (as did Joey and Frankie), he explained that he and Turner both were always around, they were just "in the other part of the school." He then gestured a wave to someone off screen and said, "Hey, Mr. Turner, wait up!" So, he was definitely alive on all accounts. He just hasn't reprised his role UNTIL NOW, in Girl Meets New Teacher.

In one class, I had 6, but yeah, 20 was more the norm. Sometimes 25.
Teachers get paid far less than they deserve... especially the good ones, because you will still remember the good ones even after out of school.

Did anyone else think that Mr. Turner died after his motorbike accident?! I mean he was never in an episode after that hospital scene....
Actually if u watch the hospital episode on BMW near the end u see Mr. Turnner's fingers move indicating that he would be ok. I remember that episode cuz I am 40yrs old & have a good memory

He points over there and they say "Oh...we don't go over there. If you go over there you may never come back." and Minkus, as he is leaving, says, "Oh that's ridiculous...Hey Mr. Turner! Wait up!" Sooo we knew he was okay he was just in the "Other part of the school"

they showed his hand move and shawn said he'd be okay. You didn't see him after that though because that was the second to last episode of season 4 and in Season 5 they were in High School. Mr Turner teaches Middle school.

Mr. Turner was the reason why I had a crush on my sixth grade teacher which I had up until I saw him again my sophomore year of high school and he let himself go and that was when my crush ended.
