Well, done! Beautiful image. I have a Benro Polaris also and your videos are very helpful and informative. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this great content. Looking forward to more.
2 Thumbs Up! I just got my Benro Polaris a week ago but need an extension base level to clear my Gitzo Tripod. I can't wait. Thxs for you video. Beautimus. Joaquin from Tucson Arizona.
Thanks! I’ll definitely keep them coming - having a blast. The camera is modified, I opened the sensor stack and just removed the “blue” Ha blocking layer - it’s made a huge difference
@@AnthonyLong-r1h I actually filmed it, I’ll put a quick video together! I had to disassemble most of the camera to get to the sensor, then it’s all held together with a bracket - you don’t need any special tools!
Great stuff. I can see you edit on a Mac,. In the thumbnail for the video you seem to be controlling the the Polaris via a laptop, is that a Mac or PC? I can't get NINA to work on a Mac I believe. Is there a way?
@@andywash Thanks Andy! NINA does unfortunately only run on windows - I use an older Intel Macbook that I’ve dual-booted with windows to run everything on the night, and then do my processing on a newer M1 Mac.

@@Jackins1956 good luck on your Polaris journey!
Loved seeing the final results of the ghost nebula! Keep them coming ☄️
@@lizzyfatseas5472 I absolutely will! 🔭
Great stuff. Toward the end you mention that you are going to post the "Nitty Gritty" to your processing technique. Still coming?
Absolutely, keep your eyes peeled!
Another great video. Keep them coming. Is your camera Astro modified?

@@outsideoursphere How exactly do you go about removing part of the sensor stack ... presumably you need special tools?

@@outsideoursphere Wow ... sounds quite an involved process and lots of care needed to avoid damage to the camera
