Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"
I worked wardrobe with him and his crew at his Memphis show a few years back and he was the most genuine kind guy ever and when he talks about the soul in the group as they've aged one of the most special things about that night was the prayer circle before their performance which I was part of ,it was epic ,he's amazing!
He is so cool! Loved him in Band of Brothers, and the fact that he still sell out stadiums with New Kids On The Block.... it really doesn't get more epic

I'm glad about what he said about acting... It was refreshing vs supermodels complaining about cold water on shoots, actors complaining about taking on such a hard role. It's really pathetic when we hear those things. At least that's how I imagine everyone who puts in 60+ hour work weeks and will never see a fraction of the multi-million dollar paychecks those "over worked" actors and models get. He came off very likable.

To be devils advocate here for a minute: Actor also work 60+ hour work weeks - many of which require graveyard shifts and split shifts and press tours where you are sequestered in dark rooms for 10 - 12 hours a day for multiple days on end and asked the same questions over and over again. They also have to live out of trailers, instead of their real homes for months at a time and not always in locations that are friendly. They have to be pulled, plucked, starved, work out 8 hours a day for months on end BEFORE their job even starts. The only difference between an actor and "everyone who puts in a 60+ hour work week" is the money and the notoriety.
I could detail a day in the life of 16 year old me working in asbestos abatement making 13 dollars an hour and it would make the life of an actor seem pretty tame considering the money involved. You are right that they don't have easy jobs, but their lives are certainly much easier than most people who's jobs present the same difficulty.
I do see your point, however, I wouldn't equate the "average joe's" job with that of an asbestos remover.That type of blatant risk isn't typical of the average job.
I'm not saying that an actors every day life isn't easier, either, but that comes from the two points that I made about differences, money and notoriety. I guess the real point I'm trying to make is this: maybe we should stop hating on the people that do the more advantageous jobs and instead start addressing the systems in place that create unfair work disadvantages for those of us that do "average jobs".
yeah... there was so much "hating" going on here I could hardly stand it. Please tell me more celebrity apologist. To clarify I don't have any issues with actors and models, just those times especially during those types of interviews a very expected thing to hear is about their hard times... As I said, this interview and the things he said were refreshing and realistic. Basically this guy came off as very grounded and I appreciate that as it is not the norm of famous people, nor of lots of people not worthy of "money and the notoriety" as it's been put.

Was it the reelz one if it was Jon recently said that is was unauthorized and many of the " facts" were untrue. There is the nkotb unwrapped documentary that shows them love and it was filmed by Elijah Donnie's son and Elijah's two friends. You should look it up I think you'll like it

Donnie Wahlberg is a much better actor than Mark Wahlberg. Mark Wahlberg is good at doing physical acting, but not so good in drama department. Donnie on the other hand, he excells at both physical and dramatic acting.

I had a little bit of acting when I starred in The Fugitive as an extra. I wanted so bad to be in a segment with Harrison Ford but instead I worked with Tommy Lee Jones for 4 GLORIOUS DAYS!!! I got to see first hand the work that goes in to acting, setting up scenes, repeating the same scene 35 TIMES and there's lots of sitting and waiting around. But I was in my element, watching and absorbing everything that went on but we had one xtra, a very good looking guy that TOTALLY hated it. He was bored sitting around and he was boring to be around him. He was only there one day, at one night shooting and he played a camera man, got on the film and he quit after that one day. Not me, I loved watching everything. And I made friends with some very interesting extras. We all banded together and had a great time. And yes, I did make it in to 2 scenes in The Fugitive and I predicted Tommy would get and Oscar and he did! He was very intense and very professional. Acting is nbot hard work, it's al the waiting that takes time because the crew has to set up the scenes. THEY work hard.
You don't have to be in your 30s or even in your 40s to love the NKOTB
