Those goats just love Miss Olivia! XOXOXOXO
I LOVE! the pigs enchanted forest ... And, I'll say thank you for the goats for their new play toy. Goats & pigs are highly intelligent & just because they may be future table centerpieces doesn't mean we can't give them the best life possible...providing food, shelter & clean water are the BARE MINIMUM...would YOU be happy with bread & water in a cage? I LOVE that you strive to do more...we can all STRIVE to do better. thank you.
That was cool when Willow was playing with Olivia at the end. I didn't know goat could be so playful with humans, that's awesome.
Strap a couple of plastic milk crates down to your wagon. Then put your buckets of water in them, to keep them from sliding all over, or tipping over. (You know the big blue carbuoy that you used to carry water with? I use those to get drinking water from town. I learned a long time ago how nice the milk crates were, for holding those things. LOL)
One or two more crates would secure the rest of the stuff, like feed. This works better than just putting sides on the trailer.
The 'mountain' will be extra shade from the sun, as well. And it's away from the building, so more breeze will blow through.
I dreamt that a piggy came barreling its way into my kitchen:) I was glad to wake up to happy images rather than all the doom and gloom on other channels! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
Great Goat Mountain! Next project, I’m sure Gina would agree, you need a deck off your sliding patio doors! Stay cool, guys.
she does! Lol.
Looks like the girls will enjoy there new toy.
You guys are doing a great job with your daughter, she has wonderful self confidence.
This hot hot weather is uggghhh! Thank you for Highlighting my comment!🎉⚡🎇✨🎊🌈🎊✨🌈🎇⚡🎉🔥☀🐱☀🔥⚡🎉🎇✨🎊🌈✨🎊🌈✨🎇🎉⚡🎉🔥🐢🐱☀🔥⚡🎉⚡🎇🎊✨🌈🎉⚡🎇🎊✨🔥☀☀🎆🎆☀🔥⚡🎉🎇✨
Love watching the pigs stretch their legs! Love the goats, too!
awesome mountain! we have goats at work who have just had their own mountain built for them.... they sniffed it and walked away and havnt gone near it since lol
Al you are the master of the ratchet strap.
Gonna have to add a swing on the goat mountain so Olivia can play with the goats too. :-) Pigs are growing well. Seem to be cleaning the pasture well.
I bet Olivia and Gina would love to have a swing in there
wow, that is really nice where the pigs are, great spot! Your daughter is turning into the goat whisperer!
Give us an update on your cold room with the temp in the 90s on Sunday. True test!
Ooooo mac and cheese, so good! Try to have goats milk in a risotto, makes it the creamiest and really flavorful :)
Love to see the goats (and the humans) having so much fun. They are sooo cute!
Look like so much fun and I am at work driving an 18-wheeler see you tomorrow...👋🏿👋🏿👋🏿
The goats sure do love their new toy. I had my knee replacement last week and am trying to catch up between the pain. Have a great weekend. Have a Blessed Day!
What fun! Y'all look like you're really enjoying your homestead and look really happy. God bless and keep your family.
What a nice father daughter relationship! Sweet video.
Love your mountain. We have a huge elm tree stump with three levels and a couple of ramps. The goats love it. 💖
Also adds some shade! Amazing how they can climb!
I wonder about maybe putting some concrete pavers on it, maybe even the ramps, if it would keep their hoof under control?
lastniceguy1 made a similar comment before I read yours.😁
I had a computer glitch so my text message got sent into space. Pooka Dot Piggie Sisters are so cute snorting around. I am glad the goats have a bridge to play on. Figerooooo is such a dominate cat, he feels better out in the yard. Pluto must be napping next to the GOAT bridge. I hope your harvest works out well today. Have a good day Lumnahs!!! Happy Fourth of July!🌈🎉🎊🎆⚡🎇✨🔥🎆🎊🎉🌈🐠☀🎇✨⚡🔥🎆🎊🎉🌈🎊🎆🔥⚡🎇✨🎆🎊🎉🌈🎆🔥⚡🎇✨🎆🎊🎉🌈☀🔥⚡🎇
My truck is my favorite saw horse too.
my little ryobi battery powered circular saw cut through the metal on my tail gate about 3 inches like butter.. lol
They love it!! And the piggie girls are always a happy act...so fun to watch them all at play!! TFS
Crazy weather here-105 on Thursday and 75 today,30 degree swing. I'm hoping for snow on the 4th hahaha
Lol. Snow would be nice
Bright and cheery looking saturday morning...with Olivia outside to direct you Al😊...I like the pigs extra area 'their bushy wilderness' with the wildflowers they look so happy running around...Wow their platform is nice..You and Olivia think of everything...Enjoy that dinner Gina..Bye🐐🐄😙✌🏼
Its been 93-95 with a lovely breeze here in houston...thanks for taking all the heat for a few days!
We are in the upper 90s this week. Too warm for me! Lol
Rockin' that drill Olivia!
Goats will love playing on that. Also they have another place to lay in the shade. Good job.
Blessings ~
Goats love their mountain you made for them.
🌻have a beautiful day🌻
You know you live in a rural community when you come across a tractor supply store. Love your videos mate from down under Australia
Morning Al Gina and Olivia another great day around the 🏡 homestead. Can't wait till tomorrow for the harvesting of the meat birds 🐔🐔🐔,Olivia you're sure are making it comfortable for Buttercup, Blossom and willow ha ha ha they're going to 😍 love it. Sausage and link are truly have the time of they lives. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video till the next video have yourselves a great day today all day long bye 👋. 🍴🍖🐖🐖🐐🐐🐐🐐🏡
Nifty. If it were the right height to load a pick-up truck it would be practical as well.
Been having the same crazy kinds of weather. Garden plants hardly know what to do.
My goats have a santed tree they climb and an old chest freezer to jump and climb on but I am not showing them this 'cause they would want it too!
Try to come up with something hard and rough for them to run on if you don't want to have to trim hooves so often. I made a little paving patio where mine eat hay and dinner and a 20 foot long sidewalk they run down to get in and out of their yard. Really helps sine my soil is so soft.
hi guys !! the goats are going to love climbing all over that
Awwwww, that goat mountain is just what they needed! Olivia playing with the goats is just so precious, I'd be in there too, how fun! ~~Leslie
Love be the play hill for the goats!!
Aww that was fun and Gina you looked so pretty and summery! God Bless ~Lisa
They love picnic tables. Build a small picnic table for them.
ohhh first good test of your walk in cooler with the high temps outside
Very nice goat mountain! It will provide them a nice shady spot to escape the heat also. Great job!
You need a ratchet strap sponsor!! He he! Aww the goats love their mountain. I wonder if you add the sticker type stairs treads that are like sand paper, if it would trim their hooves for you! 👍
I like that idea. I will have to look for some of those stair treads
Thats a good use of old pallets
Just reached the goat mountain episode, looked like a lot of fun. Got me thinking, given the richness of rock in your fields, have you thought about moving some of the rocks into the goat enclosure? If you put them like stepping Stones it would let them avoid the mud when things get muddy and also wear down their hoofs naturally so reducing, or even eliminating, the chore of clipping? Happy Monday
Great goat mountain 👍🏼
Yep ...... it's gonna be a scorcher AL. The goats are lovin Pallet Hill ~8^) Have a nice weekend Lumnahs!
Great job on the goats pallet mountain. Blessings...
That platform is a hit for sure. The girls loved it. Your piggies are growing so fast and they run to greet you now. Are you sure the fence is running though. As far as I know if there is anything touching it then it grounds and the battery runs down faster. Might wanna check that. Temperatures of 80s and 90s are the norm round here. We get cold at 77 lol.
Now for the additions.
Nice! (Much better than having them ruin the paint on a classic Corvette.....LOL)
Hi I just found you and love your family! I’ve never put a pork shoulder in the crock pot frozen, what did you add to it and how long did you cook it? I love that you let Olivia handle the power tools! Kids want to do more than just hold the boards and she may be taking over in the future!
Our goat mountain was simpler just a crisscrossed pile of fence posts that had rotted off on both ends and a pallet of top. They loved it.
Good idea gives them something to do and some shade under it. I milked for a friend and got almost 2 gallons from a nubian doe. That's the most I have ever gotten from one doe. That's almost enough for a batch of cheese. Goat cheese Mac & Cheese. Yum.
That's a lot of milk.
☕️Fun in the sun at LAF🌻🕊🌻🌻(its before 7AM in the delta and its already 80) that rain you gouts received yesterday makes it humid alright. But on the good side it will keep your skin young looking.
The goats are so excited they don't know what to do.
Love the goat mountain and so do they!
Olivia is having a blast with those goats. So curious are the goats going to be mostly for milking and raising maybe a heard of goats, are will they go to freezer camp at one point. Just curious because Olivia has really taken to them
Goooood Mawnin' Al! That looks like a great play area for your goats. Why do I think your going to be spoiling the goats with a really great paddock for them? I bet your glad to see that dozer on site!
FUN LITTLE GOAT MOUNTAIN!! ENJOYED THE VIDEO BROTHA
With all the weeds around your pig's fence base, I'm surprised it hasn't grounded out. All the homestead videos I watch that use Premier One fencing are often having to weed eat the area where the fence line is because tall grass, etc. always grounds it out. You're lucky ✌🇨🇱
Awesome Goatshill!
i really enjoy all of your videos, thanks for taking the time to make them.
aaaaaaw . I suggested using rocks for something for the goats to jump on but I really like what u and Olivia have made. now when it rains they might come out and use it as shelter as well as a jumping station. good supervising Olivia. will there be any other new additions this summer?
Great job you two!
Great family project
With a gravity flo system you could utilize rain water from the house to water the barn. Easy to drain for winter. Sorry Al but can't figure the reason for not using all them dang boulders for the goats to play on?
Ricky Leliefeld yeah, they would love the boulders and that would help keep their hooves worn down.
The goats look happy.
aw loved seeing the goats play ...they love you already! One of the things I want to build is a goat tower...loved seeing the platform :)...might need to expand it to a fort!? I just love Nigerians :)
Fun for them to play and also a shady area for naps, win/win
I have caught them napping on it
Lumnah Acres Al, maybe you need to attach an umbrella for them #spoiledgoats haha
You can do a quick easy 30 minute or less one pot meal cook book for the homestead on the run ? boss lady have to supervisor today.
That's a great playground for them! Have you tried making yogurt with goat milk yet? It can be a bit tricky.....my first batch turned out a weird silky texture and I had to dump it. You need to keep the temp high on the milk for about 10 min or so before cooling it down. That has worked for me every time.
Thanks. No we haven't made any yet. We hope to soon
Good video, keep them coming.
It's hilarious to watch animals jump around and get crazy. LOL!
Great goat mountain. You should build them a goat tower. Google goat tower to see images. Haha I think they are fantastic but perhaps a bit impractical for s small homestead.
Goat mountain is awesome. In hindsight how many stumps could you have saved when you cleared and used. Willow would have had a party 🎉🎉🎉 Any way it looks great and your goats love it 🐐
What fun..those are some lucky animals!
Great idea and good job!
The highlight of the video is Olivia's belly laugh towards the end.
THX1138 Smith Definitely! Great to see the goats and Olivia play together.
wow and you are in NH....it is cooler here in Miami, lol. Move in with Dan at Grass-fed Homestead, they have incredible weather!
The goats are really lovable aren't they? :)
The goats are almost like pets.
Have you decided what kind of pasture you're planting? Mowing hay? Grass and wildflowers? You've already got a bunch of daisies and black eyed susans scattered around. And I think I saw some wild pinks dianthus. And will you be planting any shade shelterbelt through the middle?
We are going to plant the field to pasture for now and and some trees later
Loved your idea & the video!
My Goats used to jump on top of my picnic table they are hilarious to watch aren't they? Got to give it up to the goats. . I don't like goat's milk though you can have all of it to you want buddy. LOL.
What breed of goats did you raise? They say that has a lot to do with the flavor of the milk
Lumnah Acres. I had Nubian goats that I used for milking. Don't have any more milk goats left now. I love keeping pygmy goats around they sell really well to.
You must eat a lot of chicken. It seems you harvest 50 meat birds on a regular basis. Do you usually eat most of them (or run out) before you replenish your supply?
We usually have just finished the last batch or are close to it. We enjoy sharing the birds with friends and family.
Good Morning Al, Gina & Olivia. You have beautiful property! Do you have a lake/water on your property to us the Canoe? Thank you for another video : )
No I wish we had one.
Thank you for responding! I look forward to your video's every night.
Sounds like you have the same weather we get in Upstate NY
If you call 80s hot wait until Sunday and the almost 2 inches will evaporate 😉 talk about humid ugh... hey we are supposed to only go mid 90s on Sunday, man you sure have crazy!
The goats take what ever you make them!!!!
Didn't think you were going to lift the goat ramp!
AL, another great video. It is good to see your added acreage is now coming along. How does your milk taste, as good or better than store bought cow's milk? God bless!
We think the goats milk taste better than store bought. It's creamy and smooth
Good time with the goats and the meal of pork and Mac and cheese but Stewed Tomatoes on top of the Mac and cheese takes the meal over the top
Say one for the fun to see how big they get
They love it! ❤🐐🐐🐐❤
If your goats and pigs get any happier they will start flying about because their feet won't tough the ground. LOL!!
Very good...
Do you take the goats in the woods to forage? I just started watching your videos so I wasn't sure.
we havent yet. We just got the goats 2 months ago. I am hoping the longer we have them the more they will follow us and we can take them out in the woods
goat tested goat approved
Omg...box mac and cheese
Happy goats ...happy life?
