I’m from the South and these things are all over the place forvPlanters etc. i never seen one being made and I’ll be a Mokeys Uncle on how easy you make it look ! I actually have a couple of 12 volt motorized Winches i bought for emergencies i appreciate the video and narrative
I love your video ,You sound very sincere about how hard it was I'm only 115 dls 5" female and I was struggling after seeing how hard you try it make me feel a little better. Thank you
That's a lot of work. One concern is the winch hook detaching from the tire, nailing you in the head while attempting. Would be easier if you would cut both bead rings off the tire to make it easier to reverse the tire? Cut V shape on one side and straight cut the other. Don't really need the bead ring on the bottom of the pot anyway.
To get the first indent, fold out one or two of the "petals" underneath, then slowly back over it with your car. It's the rest of it I have difficulty with.
Lots of sweat and tired old Muscles. 77yo and 7 years of health issue I still turn tires. Not 10 ply monsters just auto tires. CUT THE OTHER BEAD OUT. The closer you get to the tread the thiner the wall gets. Cuts easily with a box knife. Dip the blade in water soap . It helps but becareful, a slips can get you into the ER and $1000 bill. I have 16 tire raised bed planters in my little "POT" garden. (Container garden). I started stacking the tires this year. They are a lot easier to work in. Lot's of good avise on You Tube and tires.
I'll join you in drinking a couple more beers, but as far as Me turning that tire... Hey. That's a great idea. Hang on while I go get a beer. Don't do anything yet. I'll be right back so I can watch you do it again. It'll be even more fun this time.👍 But I do thank you. And to be serious... Please Very Slowly read all I just typed again. By the time you're finished, I'll have that beer. 😄
🤘Bitchin🤘LOL... The EASY way?!? THATS an over-inflated statement. You must have been flat tired, worn thru the treads, and ready to pop after that rotation. Just to lugg one of those around is tiring. This must have stemmed from a honey-do list. But a mans gotta do what he's gota do to keep his mount, the relationship balanced. and the pressure under control in order to have a goodyear.
Okay. Good concept. I hate those winches due to how difficult they are to UNtighten, especially after dust gets into the mechanism. I' moved up to a WormGear style, now I use 12-volt mini winches and lug a battery around or use jumper cables. ANYWAY, to make the First and Last inversion easier, use a BAR CLAMP. Put clamp inside tires, grip tire, then use the bar for leverage. (I used to make all kinds of brilliant videos for RUclips, but only my grandkids viewed them. I don't try anymore.) YOUR VIDEO would be even more awesome if you'd Edit Out the unnecessary parts; e.g., C-130 flyovers.
I have a 10 ply tire I’m trying to flip lol 😅scouring for ideas.. this one is pretty good.. I think mr there’s easier ways I’d doing it should post a video

Yeah, it's a work out jumping up and down on tires.

More beer sounds great. Many thanks for the video. I could use a good workout I will try your method of turning a tire.
You might try heating up the rubber with a blow torch. That should make the rubber more flexible.

YESSS!!! I was going to say that.
Jesus Christ! I'd hate to see the hard way!
It was a good ab workout
🤣🤣I came here after struggling with the hard way

Love it ! Thank you 😀
Which part of this is supposed to be easier?
All of it! Too easy.

Doesn't look easy at all. :) But I've always wondered how it's done. Thx for sweating through it.

Yes it was a honey-do-me-list task the wife forced me to do.
No, no, no. There is a much easier way. I will open a couple of beers and watch you do it over and over again 😅😂🤣

They should pay prisoners to do this as punishment in jail.
I weigh 100 lbs wet, I’ll be all day
For the life of me I can't figure out why anyone would do this.
Planters which don't rot or deteriorate nor cost anything.
I wanted to use them to make dust baths for my chickens
there are easier ways to do it, this one is cumbersome and dangerous...
Great...then shutup and put up...a video showing how...
It's more fun that way. Need a little danger to get the day going.
But you gotta be drunk while doing it...kind of like I was.

Well, I won't be trying for a tire planter. It's well worth purchasing one already finished. How much is your tire planter?
Alright, now let's see the hard way :-P
Great video thanks for the help from over pond 😊 next time show us the c-130 please😊
My god what have I started. I decided to do 6 of these...... Your video will definitely help. Thank you
looks difficult, but I would like to see the hard way.
