@lynnhettrick7588.. but it also told us one ... Willie won't be taking out his anger on Simon ( which is typically what happens in these types of shows) ..Also shows us that in the Wille Simon dynamic though Willie is the Prince Simon wields the power
I really hated the Felice & Wille scene 😭 because he was doing that at the moment because he was sad about Simone & wanted to feel something else... It's bad for Felice & bad for everyone.
But i get the necessity to do that scene just to be completely DONE with Felice x Wille Fling.
I can't believe you were BORED at Wilhelm and Simon while every character was literally dealing with their trauma and you could still feel this intense longing between the two. I mean, everyone has the right to think and feel on their own terms but I'm just very surprised. I think you're the only one I've seen this disinterested in their relationship lol.
I just get tired with seeing things happen over and over again honestly. Cause at some point they just gotta kiss, make up, and run away together like I can’t deal 🙄
@@TesexChristina that's actually exactly what I don't understand because this is not what is happening. The season is not about unnecessary relationship drama but about both of them growing personally and individually. It's a development and not things happening over and over again. But this is just my take, I respect your opinion :)
@@MonteChristo2024 100%. Like, I’ll stand by the fact that WilMon is the type of couple that needed to break up to improve their relationship. They both needed space to grow before they were truly ready for a serious relationship. Sort of. The Simon of season 1 in theory could’ve dated the Wilhelm of season 2 pre-The Video™️ but, post-the video Simon needed space to grow and learn radical acceptance (basically, he needed to learn that some things are just out of his control and he needs to just accept the things he can’t change or it’ll make life miserable).
Honestly, I think Young Royals is super well written and I can’t think of anything that was in it that felt unnecessary?
Edit:…I’ve done some more analysis, the Simon of season 1 definitely still needed space and time to work on himself (not saying he was a bad partner!! He wasn’t, he was *extremely* understanding and caring, he just also has his own issues that will likely be actually mentioned-mentioned in season 3 and not just hidden away in the subtext).
