You don't have basic tools like a screwdriver and some screws? You can find some old wood laying around your neighborhood just look harder. And I'm pretty sure you can get a laptop battery for cheap if you don't have one laying around.

You cant, cause there is no balance leads, nor i have seen charger that has leads for 8 cell lipo for that matter. Of course you could make your own and group them in 4 cell packs, in witch case this could possible work, but that needs some knowledge on lipo batterys. More safe way would be buy ready made lipo batterys and proper charger, than this house burning contraption...

Lol, I would't not recommend trying this: - These motors aren't made for any serious radial load, the bearings will wear out quickly under the weight of a person - Please, be a bit more careful when removing the cells from a laptop battery. I have done this several times, and I was treating the battery as if it was a live grenade. Damaging or shorting out a cell may cause it to catch fire and explode. - Don't wire lithium batteries up like this. Use heat shrink tubes or other good insulation; and it's best to add a fuse for safety. A short circuit would cause the battery to explode.

My question is, how do you charge those batteries? They are lithium ion 18650 cells which need a proper charge circuit or you have a campfire.

Lol, I would't not recommend trying this:
- These motors aren't made for any serious radial load, the bearings will wear out quickly under the weight of a person
- Please, be a bit more careful when removing the cells from a laptop battery. I have done this several times, and I was treating the battery as if it was a live grenade. Damaging or shorting out a cell may cause it to catch fire and explode.
- Don't wire lithium batteries up like this. Use heat shrink tubes or other good insulation; and it's best to add a fuse for safety. A short circuit would cause the battery to explode.
