exactlyy, for me it's like keeping the same feel as the original song, but still giving it it's own vibe in a way, just feels really moody and summery/aquatic for some reason, and it's waaaaay, lightyears away better than the og imo, smino fits perfectly

My theory is Unlocked 1.5 is the evil versions of everyone featured which is why some songs are reminiscent of everyone’s own style. The “good versions of everyone are going to be somewhat trapped but find a way to save not only themselves but Denzel and Kenny. Unlocked 2 will be the comeback of the “good” versions and the music will sound exactly as the sort of style we are familiar with?🤔 I love this concept that Denzel is going with for Unlocked so far
