বাওয়ালির জমিদার মণ্ডলদের দুটো রাসবাড়ি আছে টালিগঞ্জ রোডে। একটি চেতলা বড় রাসবাড়ি, আর অন্যটি চেতলা ছোট রাসবাড়ি। নামে রাসবাড়ি হলেও এই দুটি রাসবাড়ি আসলে দুটি মন্দিরপ্রাঙ্গণ। আমাদের এই ভিডিওটি বিষয় চেতলা বড় রাসবাড়ি মন্দির। যার ঠিকানা ৮০ নম্বর টালিগঞ্জ রোড।
এখানে গেলে দেখা যায় পাঁচিল দিয়ে ঘেরা এই মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণে একটি বিশাল চারচালা মন্দির, যার গর্ভগৃহে অধিষ্ঠান রাধারানি এবং মদনমোহনের। তার ঠিক সামনে আছে একটি বড় নাটমন্দির। জানা যায় মন্দিরটি ১৮৩৪ সালে তৈরি করেছিলেন বাওয়ালি জমিদার উদয় নারায়ন মণ্ডল। মন্দিরটি খোলা থাকে প্রতিদিন সকাল ৬ টা থেকে বেলা ১২ টা আর বিকাল ৫ টা থেকে রাত ৮ টা।
এই মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণের বাইরে আছে একটি মাঠের তিনদিকে ঘেরা মোট বারোটি আটচালা শিবমন্দির। মন্দিরগুলো প্রায় সবই ধ্বংসের মুখে। শোনা যায় এই মন্দির প্রাঙ্গনে বাংলার ১২২৩ সালে মানিক মণ্ডলের স্ত্রী মুক্তকেশী সহমৃতা হন। এই মানিক মণ্ডলই এই দ্বাদশ শিবমন্দির তৈরি করেছিলেন।
এইরূপ অনেক ইতিহাস জড়িয়ে আছে এই মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণকে ঘিরে, যা জানতে হলে এই ভিডিওটি অবশ্যই দেখতে হবে। সঙ্গে মন্দিরটির বর্তমান আবস্থার ছবিও দেখতে পারবেন । ধন্যবাদ ।।
The zamindar mandals of Bawali have two ‘Rashbari’ on Tollygunge Road. One is Chetla Bara Rashbari, and the other is Chetla Choto Rashbari. Although named Rashbari, these two Rashbari are actually two temple complexes. The subject of our video is Chetla Bara Rashbari Temple. Whose address is 80 Tollygunge Road.
If you visit here, you can see a huge Charchala temple in the courtyard of this temple surrounded by walls, in the sanctum sanctorum of which Radharani and Madan Mohan reside. There is a big Natmandir right in front of it. It is known that the temple was built in 1834 by Uday Narayan Mandal, a Bawali zamindar. The temple is open daily from 8 am to 12 noon and from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Outside the premises of this temple, there are a total of twelve Atchala Shiva Temples surrounded on three sides by a field. Almost all the temples are on the verge of destruction. It is said that Muktakeshi, the wife of Manik Mandal of Bengal, died in the temple premises in 1223 BS. It was Manik Mandal who built this twelfth Shiva Temples.
