So happy to have found this and your precious video on weaving this seat design. Very clear instructions. Visuals to match. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I just finished my first chair with great help from your video. And it turned out perfect. Best wishes Tommy from Denmark
Very neat! I was especially pleased that there were no knots when extending the twine. Question: why weren’t the ends of the twine further strengthened with glue?
This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you so very much for showing us the details of each step. I've done the normal "single rail" Danish Cord a fair amount but was rather stumped when these six chairs arrived in my queue. I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge! Also, mI see your material reel has an inner cardboard cylinder which I would much prefer to the "loose" ten pound reels I have. Did this come from Peerless? Best wishes and keep on doing your amazing work.
Yes, at Peerless we offer the option of inserting the cardboard cylinder into our 10 pound coils for just an additional $5 charge. We find it to be most helpful!
Really excellent video, just finished my first chair and your instructions were invaluable. Just curious, how long does it take you to finish a chair like this at a relaxed pace? I have quite a few to complete...

Hi Ed, I’m curious how much rope you need for each chair? And maybe an estimate on how long a chair takes start to finish. Thank you.
most chairs take about 2 pounds, or 360'
Can you show a variation for an aluminum tube frame lawn /patio chair?
Hello, what material is the rope made of.
Can this technique be used to make a cot?
