I have several scx24 models I've practically upgraded nearly every piece for, but these trx4m builds I'm seeing, especially here, are looking much better and have a better scale look as well... much better than my scx24 gladiator and bronco. I might have to get me one of these now lol
Awesome sweet adventure brother good job 👍 these rigs are built solid indeed i have one too with three different bodies i swap over for different adventures
@@DoURC yeah the green one is definitely a good color i bought my trx4m with the green body then i got a blank body i custom painted like the camel trophy defender and i got the orange one recently for different looks i have the fcx24 blazer i definitely recommend it man its a lil beast of a rig with the two speed and portals
@NORTHWEST RC ADVENTURES Ah cool, sounds nice on the bodies. 👍 Yeah I've got an FCX24 K5 already, done a few videos on it. Super capable rig and looks fantastic too. 👍
@@DoURC indeed man mines outta commission atm i burned out the motor recently on my last video at the beach were i took the blazer and the defender on a beach trip so im currently waiting for the part from fms its been a while i think its 3 weeks i believe from china to here in oregon lol so i can only just wait but i did do some upgrade videos on it i added some treal portal covers to it definitely will make the difference with the weight downlow well find out how it performes after i put the new motor in
@NORTHWEST RC ADVENTURES Gutted on the motor, hope the new one turns up soon. 👍 Upgrades sound good, I've got a load of brass ready to go on which I'll be doing soon. 👍
Thanks very much, appreciate it. 👍 Yeah there's some beaches not far from me. Got a few beach run videos on my channel with different rigs, check out my Crawling & Trailing playlist 👍
So , have you had any issue after all this year with this traxxas? You are the only one I found n youtube pushing this Rc hard and totally changed my concept of this model
Only issues I've had are the body mounts get loose, so the body falls off when rolling it. Also the bushings seizing up, but that's a given really with the mud. 👍 I've upgraded it since and have more videos on it in my Mini Crawlers playlist. 👍
Thanks very much, appreciate you're still with me and hope you're enjoying my content. 👍 I got the stickers on ebay, just search up 18th scale crawler stickers. 👍
Thanks very much 👍 Most of it gets washed off in the stream or a big puddle. Then once home I hose it down in the garden, dry it, then coat in GT85 for the next time. 👍
@bltpgermany1151 It depends what you're using it for really. Extra weight low down really helps if you're rock crawling. If you're mudding it can hinder, as the extra weight makes you sink further into the mud. Also the more weight, the harder your motor and servo have to work. Check out my Mini Crawlers playlist. I've tested out some upgrades on this TRX4M and other rigs like the FCX24 and FCX18 etc. I've just been working on some upgrades for the new FCX24 Unimog tonight. 👍😁
Hello hope all is well, quick question as I'm struggling to find info on my trx4m it leans alot to one side I removed rear shock and it feels weaker compared to the other possibly why it leans? I have a pic on my tiktok of it. Question is can I add more oil? If so what's the best to use? Many thanks 😊
Yeah you add more oil, not sure what the stock weight is. I use 20 weight on my Mini RC's. You also get little spring collars included in the box you can add, which will increase spring tension, propping it up more. 👍
@@DoURCThe salesman in the store told me that it was possible to go into puddles but not rivers. If it still works that's fine but be careful anyway 🙃😎 however the car will be on the video for eternity
@olivierzaffino9216 I've fully submerged it with no issues. All my rigs get soaked and covered in mud. It's like a rite of passage! 🤣👍 It still works and been used many times since. 👍
@stephant3665 RCAWD do and you could use my discount code, but tbh something like Injora tyres are better tbh. 👍 They're very easy to assemble, you normally just need a 1.5mm Hex driver. 👍
@@DoURC okay... I've been using injora, tons of upgrades for my Defender! I'll check some combos and grab some soon, didn't wanna tick off the wife's that fast LOL 😆😆😆 thanks again
@@DoURC really? I haven’t even tried putting my rigs in the water but heard the scx24 dies in water right away. Maybe il test it haha I was going to get some conformal coating just to be safe.
@jayf2487 Conformal coating is a good idea, I used it on my WPL C24-1 👍 Check out my Mini Crawlers playlist, there's a few vids of the SCX24 getting well and truly stuck into mud and water, never had an issue with it. 👍
@@rcmountaingoat with a better esc/motor combination - it is a must since its stock low speed modulation is simply awful - it can be quite enough for a crawler actually. If you convert to portals too, then it will be really good. The chassis is actually ok but the stock electronics are miserable for a decent crawling experience
@@BellaT-nu4vv I ain’t got a problem with the speed. But the top heavy chassis was not practical. So I installed a lot of brass parts. I finished today and I tried to record a video of the installation. But yes, the next upgrade will be the Injora servo and motor.
This is a very cool ride, especially in the water, great!

Looks really nice, but if you know what to look for, it's clearly visible. Anything you can do against the torque twist?
Oooh that sounds very suspicious, what are we looking for.....? 🤔🤣
You can stiffen up the rear springs as they tend to sag in the rear.

How long does the battery last ?
About 45 mins to an hour or so, depends what you're doing really. Mudding and running through water drains it faster as its more work for the motor. 👍
