Pritchett is a very mean one on offroad rigs. I have Dana 44s locked front and rear and I still wouldnt go up Pritchett with that.... Unless I winched up 1/2 the obstacles
Eaton ELockers front and rear. The stock LSD clutch pads were wore out at 19K miles. I had a very well built super 30 in the front but ultimately the ring and pinion gave out.
This is why the new non-unlockable front hubs suck......on my ancient CJ I could just unlock the Warn hubs and eliminate that horrible clunking and grinding.
Jeeps have been doing Pritchett for probably 50 years. Pretty sure the Red Rock four wheelers do more for trail maintenance than any other group in Moab.
Nothing about this looks like fun! Waiting in line behind 10 other Jeeps only to winch up obstacles while people sit around shooting vertical videos to show their Mall Crawlers on a rock....Hard Pass!
I agree… on the other hand… it’s nice to sit and watch before it’s your turn to dissect lines. Similar to snowboarding, paragliding, mountain biking, etc, it’s good to sit and watch sometimes…. SOMETIMES, not all the time.
Well you could be right. However, I don't like horses very well, I am too lazy to mountain bike, I don't have enough time to hike, and I own a Jeep. I guess, I am just trying to get by with what I have.
uh oh! Found the Jeep hater whos about to tell us why a Toyota is better...even though every brand has its share of major issues and ALL can be seen over and over again on YT
That old Bronco half cab is awesome! I WANT ONE! 🤩
< ------ Randon internet guy saying, time to upgrade to one tons and forties! What a range of builds in that group. Loved the white Bronco.

One tons are on order!
The ol lil Bronco was the baddest crawler out there. I want one those!! I'm scared of jeepers creepers when you least expect a failure it happens.
But my momma always said “Son, be proud of your Dana30. Don’t let them Dana60 boys push you around” 😢
2 doors are scary while rock crawling
No they not
@John Smith i Have a 2 doors JK. I love snow wheeling with. But it's really scary when it comes to rock crawling
Time to call Rory
What kind of locker do you have in the Willys? Are you still using the stock LSD in the rear?

I got through there with 26-in tires, rear wheel drive only with no locker, no winch.

You gotta winch it up ? 😂
I had to winch a lot!
Rode thAt on my bicycle before the jeeps tore it up

I've done it a few times and we always have to pick up trash from the lazy mountain bikers who won't pack their garbage out.
Crawl under with the proper tools and remove the front driveline.
I carry the tools needed to remove either driveshaft. Unfortunately the ring and pinion gear had teeth break off inside the differential.
@@HTRNF67 My Bad. I've been there with a bent driveshaft but never with front gearbox breakage. Roll On Man!
Was the 30 locked?
It had a 30 spline Eaton e locker. The locker started acting up the day before the ring and pinion went out so I am not sure what caused the failure.
Let me guess....5.13s?
The old set up was 4.56s with 35" tires. With the 3.6L she was very perky set up this way. Going to 37s with 5.13s in the Dana 60s on order.

I thought the definition of A Mall Crawler was one that didn't leave paved roads. Yet these guys were on the trails. 🤷♂️
In all reality you shouldn't be off roading in a jeep.
