  • Kyle Busch announced this morning that he will be joining Richard Childress Racing to drive the No. 8 car for 2023 and beyond.
We take a time machine back to 2007 to look at the world when Kyle left Hendrick Motorsports to sign with Joe Gibbs Racing.
Our Dad passed away on August 30th. He did the voiceover for the intro to all of our RUclips videos. We will miss him so much.

In August of 2007 I was 15, about to start my sophomore year of high school, had yet to even have my first cell phone, and a couple months later went to the Truck race at Martinsville

At the time I was equipment manager for my North Port High School Varisty Baseball I just gotten my first nickname & you probably love to hear this "Ricky Bobby" that's why one of my former Baseball Coach gotten me nickname & that's why I was NASCAR fan for 9 years in 2007. It was very close to 10 years in 2008. Better yet I was so lucky to have class ring to have stock car racing on display.

There wasn’t even a chance Busch would get 100 with Gibbs…

Not saying it will or won’t happen! Just pointing out if Kyle’s career followed Dale’s age 38+ path, he’d end up with 102 wins and 97 if he followed Kevin’s. So it sounds crazy, but is still possible, per say.
