Thanks a lot, I'm really happy with the result too! I hope to put in the seals for the last time when I hang the doors, they have been on and off way too many times hehe
Geoff - Congratulations to you and your dad on this huge milestone - the outcome so far is a huge testimony to all the painstaking work. Looking forward to seeing it all come together.
Great colour choice - glad it’s moved forward and reassembly and fitting is next. Look forward and we’ll done a lot of work has brought this lovely alfa junior to a wonderful presentation
Seeing the shell on the back of the truck on its way to the paint shop brought a smile to my face. Love your meticulous work. If I was in your position I not sure I would be willing to drive it when finished …looks too good.
I have been following since Episode 1. Fantastic work! You have been well rewarded for the hard work you put in. Looking forward to seeing it complete. Well done all!
Simply awesome Geoffrey. Well done to you and your dad. The colour came out spot on. Cant wait to see how it will contrast with the interior. 10/10 mate ;)
Wow, I just finished watching all the episodes and both the video presentation and work on the car are fantastic! When can we expect the next video in the series? Keep up the great work!
Thanks for great comment, I believe you're in luck as later today/tomorrow we will be uploading a new episode which we finished editing last weekend. During the past year I was a bit short on free time to work on it but the project is still going...stay tuned for Ep 19, there's a couple of small surprises too
@@raisingjunior6389 i have stalled a bit on mine over last 2 years. i had some eye surgery and other things cropped up, but hope to have painted next year.
@@martinblack5021 Sorry to hear, hope you've recovered well. This year I had less garage time too, I've been trying to sneak in a few free hours to continue assembling the car back together
The closest contender was Ochre yellow however I've seen another great colour called "Azzurro Spazio" which I wasn't aware of before, still Bluette is my favorite
Congratulations on this milestone! Looking forward to the rear axle. I have alot of play in mine so I'm interested in how you address any play in yours.
Luckily my axle was in great shape and didn't need to have any parts replaced except from the brakes. I think you'll have to narrow down where the play is coming from first the see how to set what you replace. I read that ring and pin are quite difficult to set
Geoffrey -congrats on another great video and reaching a major milestone. Yours is among my favorite Alfa restoration channels. I especially liked your explanation of using templates to mark curves to enable you to evaluate symatery on different sides. Very well done. Great color-was it Dutch Blue or LeMans Blue? Single stage enamel. What brand of paint. Thanks again
Thanks for the great comment, we like to share the tips about templates as they make life easier with a little work. The paint is by Standox, Single strange and it's Bluette AR 506
Hi Antonio, thanks for watching, this episode is the last one uploaded as I didn't have a lot time to work on the car this past year, however we are editing episode 19 at the moment..
This was the last video we posted but by this weekend we will upload a new video showing the current stage of the car. Over the past year I didn't have a lot of time to work on it but the project is still going on slowly. I post regular updates on Instagram @raisingjunior
@@AlfaRomeoSpider-qw9oj I went to my local paint supplier and gave them the code AR 506. Luckily Standox produces paint mixes for classic cars, I believe other brands like Glausurit do too. For the first batch I mixed 1 litre to check how if looked in the sunlight, even though I didn't have a sample to match it too I thought it looked faithful to the original colour
Looks fantastic Geoff. Putting in those rubber door seals is the bane of my existence. Looking forward to seeing your reassembly.

Long last! Great job man, I must say that the bluette looks really good on the Junior, I love it. Can't wait to see the engine assembly
Thanks, I plan to start on the engine after the suspension and wiring is assembled, fingers crossed it goes smoothly
I am enjoying your videos - particularly that you are working with your dad. Great work both of you.

Sometimes I think it's going to be too clean to drive but it was so bad that every area needed some attention!
Good to have you back great progress 👍
We are busy with a 2000 gtv. Exactly same process. Took about 6 years already. Soon she'll be up and running. Love from Africa'
Awesome, these cars just do that, keep us busy! I've been at it for 6 years now but progress has slowed down this year
that turned out really nice
Love the dedication and the love of perfection, achieved by working hands, great job .
Wow, that looks stunning! Must be so satisfying to have it to this stage. Congratulations!
Wow Geoff the car is looking awesome already. As the videos show , you can't rush a work of art.👍❤️Keep up the good work.
Thanks for following!!
Your work is absolutely fabulous!
Nice job Geoffrey!!! Good to see you're still working to perfection! I recently sold my Baywindow...

Thanks for the interest, I hope to finish it in a couple of months, if you're curious to see where its at now I have some update pictures on Instagram

Great colour! Is that an Alfa colour?
Yes, it's called Bluette, it's from the era too, factory colour for Bertone Gt's
@@raisingjunior6389 nice work - how did the paint make Bluette - by formula or color match or something else? I’m about ready to paint my GT also. Thx
