Thanks for the demo, Erica! You do such a great job showcasing new products! I have used this die cut machine for about six months now. At first, I LOVED it because of its magnetic platform and its form factor. However, in my opinion, it has some problems. (1) The magnetic mat and the cover plate warped very quickly. (2) The platform is too short, and that's why the plates fly off the end after you roll them through just once. I'm quite certain that's why the instructions say to roll the die through back and forth, to avoid this problem. In my opinion, a good cutting machine does not require you to roll a die through back and forth as a general rule. (3) This die cut machine cuts regular card stock beautifully. However, it will not cut through the CraftSmart glitter card stock that you can buy at Michaels. I have to use my Big Shot for that. Ugh. I really wanted to LOVE this little machine, but I don't.

I have had problems with many WRMK products. I don't know why I kept buying them. Now I read reviews. I have seen several that say the magnetic plate warps in a very short time. Warps to the point of not being able to use it. It looks great here. Hopefully Erica won't have the problems.
@@lauraann7816, I hear you. I also have had problems w most of their tools. I am even having problems with one of their trimmers (cutting tool) the one that has all the gadgets in one. I am glad I bought it at 60% off and not full price. I do too hope Erica has none of the problems the reviews show.
I really appreciate your input. It seems that many devices work well at first. The real story comes months later with lots of use. And I do agree that WRMK products are generally not well made. Several I bought fell apart easily even without hard use.
You are so right about #2. You should not have to roll back and forth . I really miss my Big Shot! it was so easy and worked well with any product. I ruined it using the Magic Mat!
I bought this machine a week ago and just used it today. I'm impressed at how crisp the cuts are. So far I give it 5 *****'s!
Love the selfhealing magnetic mat! That will save lots on the acrylic mats alone.

I just purchased the Revolution. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it because I don't like the idea of leaving die cut impressions on the mat. I think today most machines are made for the use of their products only. I'm glad I watched your video. I learned that the directions I got were incorrect when embossing. The directions I got said to use the magnetic platform for both die cutting and embossing. Thank you. I learned a lot.

That bazil cardstock always gives beautiful embossing details. I would love to see how well it embossed just a regular piece of cardstock. Maybe just layering weight. I love the bazil card and wish I could always use it, but I know it's just not possible.. Here it is more expensive. ty for sharing.

My magnetic plate has the die impressions on it after I run the dies through. Do these plates have to be replaced after a while?
