Your hair and makeup were beautiful. You've always been creative with your hair. 👌🏾 I must tell you that it was so nice seeing you speak to those young women. You always have a good message with the intention to make the world a better place for everyone, and you're SO natural. It's not easy at all to speak in front of a room full of people and appear extremely comfortable. How old is Phil now? If I remember correctly, Phil was with you and Patrick in Florida. He was so adorable standing in your suitcase. Awe!! 😊
thanks love! this was truly one of my best speeches. the audience was so great, just attentive and engaged. i had so many moments i had to pause for laughs i wasn't expecting or just people in the audience saying amen. it was so very cool. i was certainly in my element. trying to get back into making some hair videos cause i have lots of new hairstyles to share. I think Fil is.....6 or 7? We got him right before we moved to NY and he was still a puppy. he's so funny, i bought him a bed and i swear he's determined to sleep everywhere BUT his bed. suitcases, CLEAN laundry, my closet...i always have to hunt for him in the am cause you never know where he passed out lol
chescaleigh He's so adorable. You're lucky that you have to look for him. My little crazy dog wakes me up earlier than I want to EVERYDAY....lol.
Chesca you are a forreal G for wearing white while Aunt Flow is in town, I let that bih have her way lol. Awesome speech!

You're honestly so inspiring, I would love to be where you are someday. AAUW does such great things for empowering young girls! I attended a STEM camp for girls on a scholarship with them as a kid, it was an awesome experience.
you're too sweet! work hard, dream big, try new things and don't be afraid to make mistakes and you'll end up exactly where you're supposed to be. AAUW is so incredible, the fact that you were part of one of their programs proves you're on the right path. keep kicking ass!

OMG! I loved seeing your Day-in-the-Life! Sounded like a great message. The love and energy in that room were palpable; I could feel it too, just watching the clip. My mirror neurons must be super strong (I'm convinced I have hyperempathy, like Lauren, in Parable of the Sower), because I DID start crying as you took the stage. I'm amazed at how you kept it together, and I am super proud and happy for your accomplishments and the work you're doing.
I watched an old video of yours from when I first heard of you through the Shane Dawson issue. I think you talked about hood pranks too. It got me thinking...could you make a video on the Roman Atwood "neighbor" prank? Particularly the part where black people are apologizing in the comment section when they are the targets of the prank.

I remember you said in former videos that you don't have eyebrows and on snapchat you don't draw them on so you'll get more confident about them. But I thought you literally don't have eyebrows, not that you have ones that aren't really strong and visible.
I thought that for some reason maybe your eyebrows don't grow or you shave them and you draw the whole thing on and there isn't one hair on your forehead.
So you DO have eyebrows.
ha! I have eyebrows, they're just naturally very thin so I pencil them in.
The story about the snail and the caterpillar? (sorry I didn't totally catch what the second animal was) sounded like an amazingly easy metaphor to show people who don't understand privilege. Have you done this for You Tube somewhere? Or would you?
