- Prince Harry will be feeling "bitterness" over his father's decision not to meet him during his time in the UK this week, according to a royal expert.The Duke of Sussex is in London to take part in an event marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. It was rumoured he would reunite with his father King Charles as they are both in the city at the same time However, Harry has confirmed he will not be seeing his father "due to His Majesty's full programme". Royal author Tom Quinn has suggested the monarch's snub doesn't bode well for their relationship.Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Tom said: "It's impossible to exaggerate the significance of King Charles' decision not to see his son Harry while Harry is in the UK for the Invictus games. It's an unambiguous statement that Harry is not welcome; that the relationship between father and son has broken down, perhaps irretrievably."A spokesperson for Harry released a statement in response to Charles' decision not to meet with him. It read: "It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme."It added: "The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon." Tom suggested the statement seems to mask Harry's true feelings about the snub.He told us: "Harry's well publicised statement that he is not going to see his father because he is 'understanding of his father's commitments but hopes to see him some time' may sound perfectly reasonable, but it masks a huge amount of awkwardness, anger, and bitterness.

Good for him! Harry should make plans trip to visit his father at a mutual convenient day and time. Harry expects to be received with open arms when he alone has destroyed their relationship. What about bringing the children??

Harry, still demanding his own way, on his terms. He acts like a spoiled two year old. I want it and I want it now. If he insists long enough, everyone will tire and give in. Must have happened all his life with pa pa. And if Charles gives in, he'll go running back to report everything to Meghan who is the one he gives his alliance to. King Charles would only prolong being hurt and deceived, affecting his Kingship and health. Either which it doesn't appear to phase Harry and Meghan. If Harry was any kind of a son, he would have the decency to stand down. until his family shows some shred of forgiveness and normalcy in their lives after being put through the ringer unnecessarily

I wonder why he could not pop over with the children in the 3 months since King Charles announced he had cancer. If that was my father I would have told my spouse I was going and she could please themselves. Where is her support for him.
