Love Pop and Shakespeare

World premiere of The Lovers by Laura Murphy adapted from A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare at the Sydney Opera House. The media call in October 2022 from the Bell Shakespeare Company includes the songs - Love, Pop and Shakespeare - which is the opening number and conclusion of Act 1 - To Die For.

This is such a delight oh my gosh-it somehow manages to capture the depth of the lovers that so many others miss while still in the genre of delightfully cheesy pop, and I wish I could have seen it live!!
