Traum is honestly the most underrated Visual Pianist IMO. 40 000 still isn't such a small number but with the amount of uploads he does consistently and the MASSIVE repertoire he has, honestly deserves so much more recognition. I also prefer a lot of his interpretations compared to the others, but this isn't to say that they're terrible, I just wish Traum's channel would blow up as well.
@@erezsolomon3838 Not really, well who knows but if he was a prodigy, but you can get to such a high level by practicing a lot and getting proper lessons as well as a good teacher. Traum probably studied in a music school considering the massive repertoire he has and his great technique.
This is one of my favorite piano sonatas, and the 3rd movement probably my favorite, though I hope you will consider playing the 4th movement too! Your rendition was extremely beautiful and moving. Chopin would be proud.
Random story about this movement which makes me nostalgic--taking a scenic flight into London back in 2019, and listening to this masterpiece was very atmospheric! Thank you for playing it beautifully Traum! 🙏
Chopin will forever be my favorite composer. The melodies he chooses always speak to me. Some could say there’s not as much depth to his in comparison to other composers (an argument I hear when people compare Liszt), but his songs stick with me, and I remember the melodies and feelings where I simply don’t as often (most important words, *as often*) with other classical composers. Thank you for this piece Traum. The way you play constantly flows and makes me lean in to and sway with my phone like a lunatic as I’m taken on a journey with your playing. EDIT: Clarification
Those who say there's not much depth on Chopin's compositions like on Liszt's are completely lunatics, or don't have any knowledge on musical theory. That's like saying Liszt is deeper than Bach because he is more technically gifted, LOL. I want this guys to analyse Chopin's harmonical work on the 4th Ballade. In this piece alone Chopin wrote one of the most beautiful and complex harmonical structures ever, with far morr depth than any of Liszt composition.
So true! Chopin may not have been has skilled as Liszt, but goddamn his compositions always take me through a journey of colors and emotions. Liszt himself said that he thought he was a better performer, but that Chopin's compositions were on another level. These two will always stay my favorite composers, but Chopin definetely is the closest to my heart 😊
Yeah I like 3 more but I actually think its slightly more famous than 2 with exception for 2nd's 3rd movement of course ;) But 1 so criminally underrated thank you for talking about it :)
@TraumPiano, the very first piece that pursuited me to finally clicked on the Traum Music on Nov, 14, 2020, because i was only interested for the real, serious Classical Music performances not for the falling notes. @@erezsolomon3838 yes, that is a demanding piece for sure. I think it would take me longer with the firebird, but Mèreaux's piece plays on many of my strenghts. I think it might be easier to learn to play the notes on FF though...
I was listening to this a lot today, It's a song or piece They Might Be Giants which is called Other Father Song from/by Coraline the movie. You don't have to do it/this but if want to do this, you can, it will be great.
Chopin at beginning of that was like "hm, maybe I try something like liszt"
...and 7 seconds later "oh no, back to the human soul"
