When I did, I saw this very tall grey shape with long, claw like fingers. I couldn't fully make out it's face, but it moved so fluidly, like a mist. I got a very bad feeling that night and I told my mom that once we get home we get though the door, quick, and don't go back outside until the morning. It was eerily quiet. Nothing made a sound. No nocturnal animals, no bugs, nothing. No sound. All our dogs laid by the back door and kept quiet. I was so anxious. I felt like something was going to happen. I couldn't sleep that night. Thankfully nothing happened. But I will never forget that night. Ever.....

The second story sounds a lot like one that my dad used to tell me when I was little. The name that he gave the creature was the Warliff. It was said that the creature was seen multiple times in south-central West Virginia. He said that a cousin and someone from town both had discussed how they had shot at it multiple times as it ran across the hillside or across the top of a barn. The man who shot at it running across the hillside said that he could see the bullets kicking up dirt where the bullets hit the ground behind the creature. The man was known to be an excellent shot. When he "missed" multiple shots people believed that the bullet actually went through the creature. The man who shot at it as it ran acrossed barn roof stated that the creature had ate his dog. He had let the dog through a wood screen door out into the farm yard. I believe the dog was a smaller breed such as a Jack Russell or a beagle. The dog's foot had gotten stuck in the screen door and when the man went to check on the dog he saw the leg still inside the house. When he open the door there was nothing left of the dog except the leg. He started screaming and heard a noise on the barn roof and grabbed the shotgun that he kept next to the door. When he looked up he saw a strange creature they had multiple legs and was scampering across the barn roof. The man only had bird shot in the shotgun so he did not do any visible damage when he shot at the thing on the barn roof. I do not remember if it was furry or reptilian, but I remember him saying that it was about the size of a German Shepherd. He also used to tell a story about a fireball that would roll around and consume everything that was in its path. I don't know if the fireball had anything to do with the creature but I find it interesting that too crazy sounding stories would come out of the same region.

Ive seen something similar to the san antonio incident in jacksonville texas... It was near dark and i was riding my 4wheeler through the woods back to the house when i saw what i thought was a cow stand up on 2 legs and run the other way... I guess i scared it off.. (The Converse Wolf Monster" - both are great examples of this.

The second story sounds a lot like one that my dad used to tell me when I was little. The name that he gave the creature was the Warliff. It was said that the creature was seen multiple times in south-central West Virginia. He said that a cousin and someone from town both had discussed how they had shot at it multiple times as it ran across the hillside or across the top of a barn. The man who shot at it running across the hillside said that he could see the bullets kicking up dirt where the bullets hit the ground behind the creature. The man was known to be an excellent shot. When he "missed" multiple shots people believed that the bullet actually went through the creature. The man who shot at it as it ran acrossed barn roof stated that the creature had ate his dog. He had let the dog through a wood screen door out into the farm yard. I believe the dog was a smaller breed such as a Jack Russell or a beagle. The dog's foot had gotten stuck in the screen door and when the man went to check on the dog he saw the leg still inside the house. When he open the door there was nothing left of the dog except the leg. He started screaming and heard a noise on the barn roof and grabbed the shotgun that he kept next to the door. When he looked up he saw a strange creature they had multiple legs and was scampering across the barn roof. The man only had bird shot in the shotgun so he did not do any visible damage when he shot at the thing on the barn roof. I do not remember if it was furry or reptilian, but I remember him saying that it was about the size of a German Shepherd. He also used to tell a story about a fireball that would roll around and consume everything that was in its path. I don't know if the fireball had anything to do with the creature but I find it interesting that too crazy sounding stories would come out of the same region.
...I'm going straight to hell for giggling at that poor man who had to call 911 on bigfoot!!!

Ive seen something similar to the san antonio incident in jacksonville texas... It was near dark and i was riding my 4wheeler through the woods back to the house when i saw what i thought was a cow stand up on 2 legs and run the other way... I guess i scared it off.. I went out countless times to try and grab a photo of it but my family sold the farm...
I live in Kitsap County and it is totally plausible that that guy saw a sasquatch in his back yard. There's all kinds of wooded areas that they could travel through around here and take refuge. In fact, there are so many strange phenomenon in this county, I'm convinced I live in the Twilight zone. I have seen ghosts, ufos, fey folk, spacial anomalies, time warps, gravity shifts, possible dragons, strange weather, and some of the oddest people you will ever meet. I swear, I am the Rod Serling of this county.

born and raised in san antonio texas, when i was about 5 or 6 maybe even younger I recall arriving home to a family members house and when we stopped the truck something heavy jumped in the back bed, I quickly looked back to find myself staring into yellow eyes that were nearly glowing. all I saw were eyes and nothing else. it was too dark. I wanna say it has something to do with that converse texas werewolf

For the few who may not know, the movie that was made about the Fouke Monster was The Legend of Boggy Creek, 1972.
One of the best creature movies ever made... at least the first half and the ending minus the Travis Crabtree stuff. Charles Pierce was a master of atmosphere, witness "The Town That Dreaded Sundown."
