Hi Muhammad. I'm actually working on the A2 content this year. I won't be able to finish all the chapters before the 31st October. It took me about a year to put up all the AS videos (about 100 in total) and will take me quite a bit of time to work through A2 economics as well. As for the five units, I'm starting with unit 1 which should be finished within the next 4 weeks. Then there is the massive unit 2 which should take me a few months. I believe I can get at least 50% done by the summer exams. in order to achieve allocative efficiency producers have to produce the products most wanted by the consumers but sir why is an market failure is caused due to an under consumption of merit goods when producers are going to produce the products most wanted by the consumer whether it be junk food and producers won't care how it is going to impact the consumers so allocative efficiency might be achieved there might be no market failure. Sir plz help me clarify this point
In the case of demerit goods, the marginal benefit we get from consuming the good is way more than the marginal cost to producers for producing it and allocative efficiency is achieved when MB= MC so market failure occurs.
