Sevendust = Consistency. Always bring their A game and their live shows are heavy as hell.
You now owe this band a deep-dive. :) Been one of my favorites since '99 (their album, 'Home' for me), and still going strong.
Best way I tell people is listen to the Best of Chapter One Album...
Sevendust are pioneers. They've been the same band with the same members since the mid 90's and they've never stopped dropping albums.
Sevendust have been around for some time and have 14 albums to date. While they have side projects, I don't believe any of them are more popular than Sevendust. Their sound has evolved some but they have always produced great music. I would recommend working through the catalogue from early to more recent. I'd maybe start with 'Black' from the first album, then 'Licking Cream', 'Angel's Song', 'Enemy', then more recent tracks like 'Dirty'. Lots to go through, so pace yourselves :).
Sevendust is one of the most underrated rock bands I can think of.
This song is so fire I swear I played it back to back 8 times... When I found it played randomly on my way home riding my bike 🔥💯
They've been together for their whole career minus the guitar player (Clint Lowery) for a few years and then he returned. They all have had side projects over the years but they are most known for being SEVENDUST! Been my favorite band for the past 25 years! Glad to see new people discover them!

Happy you discovered them. I've been a big fan since the 90s and that was because they were a very heavy band at the time. Over the years they have developed quite a bit musically but still keep the hard edge with a few songs every album, as well as smoother melodies like this one which I very much like also. Lajon Witherspoon is the lead singer and he has one of the absolute best voices in rock music. I would suggest "Sick Mouth" off this most recent album or something from a very old album such as "Black" if you want to explore their range more.
Definitely a good band. They formed in 1994, so definitely been around for awhile 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hey gingerand Mike. That band is from my hometown in Atlanta Georgia. The front man's name is lajon witherspoon and these guys have been together since I was 16 yrs old , I'm now 45 yrs old. They literally grew up together and are family. This band has some history so if you want to know more about them I can tell you that morgan rose the drummer of sevendust used to play in a band called slim kitty, a looooooong time ago, then I saw sevendust for the first time, but at the time they were called crawlspace. 😉
