I like when the engine cuts out and the cars coast for a couple hundred feet. It's like in Rad Racer when you run out of time and you just watch it coast hoping against hope that you make it to a checkpoint.
It bounces because it has a *_stiff_* suspension. If it were a soft suspension, it would just soak it up and squish. Trucks have a stiff suspension because they are meant to tow and carry things much heavier than themselves. A stiff spring will rebound harder than a soft one. Basic physics. Also front wheel drive cars do not have rear axles. The rear wheels are not connected to the drivetrain or eachother (except _maybe_ by a sway bar). All they do is roll and brake.
some fwd cars have live axles, but they are more like metal bars that connect the two back wheels. live axles were used for front wheel drive cars in the 1980s, mostly in american cars to save money on expensive parts.
In this scenario, compatible shock valving to control the springs is more important. All of the vehicles would benefit from a little stiffer compression, and even more stiffness on the rebound.
ootdega Soft suspension does compress but then it translates it into huge rebound if that isn't checked. People actually go to great lengths to get off-road vehicles to level correctly when towing. It has less to do with the spring and more to do with the damping. There is a difference between driven axles and non-driven axles. Every type of suspension set-up uses axles to allow wheel rotation, just the lengths are different.
its just the rebound on the shocks being too high causing it to bounce like a pogo stick, thats why your car bounces alot after you cut springs because you've effectively lowered the spring rate to where the rebound strength is more powerful than the stiffness of the spring. Run too high a spring rate with too soft a shock and you'll get bad grip because the shock cant keep the wheel on the ground over bumps.

Hey Alex I got a series idea. Each episode you take 2 or 3 vehicles and build it up to a perfect baja circuit car.each car gets 3 try's (you can correct the build each time) and try to see who makes it the furthest the fastest
Sooner or larter, there will be a car, that performs worse than the cement mixer, and it will be probably an ETK variant (the convertible almost did it)
just wondering if it hasn't already appeared in an episode already but I wanna see how far you can get with the motorbike. probably not far at all but it'll still be nice to see

Rock Tuner He already did it.
Nous Resterons La no, there's a newer faster one. Speirs and Neilogical made vids on it a day or more ago.
There is something so hilarious about a massive American pickup truck doing repetitive endos
Here's an idea for a challenge: see how far a car can go with 2 liters of fuel!
Although this is a fantastic idea, how do you fiddle around with the fuel? Is there a way ingame to set the fuel?
in the latest update all official cars have fuel adjustment through the car tuning menu.
I love when you upload two videos in one day love it so excited
diamond dust He always does
The etk doesn't have axle problems, it has control arm problems
Your intro music reminds me of early Spyro games on the PS2.

The best series on RUclips :))

My dad just got an awesome work truck from his company. Silverado, V8, crew cab, long bed. I can't wait for the summer so I can drive that thing.

They definitely do have rear axles. Look up axle on Wikipedia.
