    I have “Glisten”, the first one, same thing, the glass wasn’t glued on and it just flaked off at touch. It was exchanged for a new one. Starry Frontier is my powerhouse as Chloe’s said. It gets hot! Whispy willow mini is like the Crowned in Gold, does not get more then barely warm, so I use it as a staircase night light warmer. The full size Whispy Willow throws well. The Alabaster is one of my favorites also. Thank you Elizabeth for your thoughts and review :-)

    Oh the stone leaf is great in performance but scents do fizzle out quick with it. I don’t get more than a day with most bars in that one. Etched core is another great performer as well. I definitely prefer the ceramic!

      Katelyn, do you like etched core over stone leaf? Do scents last longer in the etched core vs stone leaf? Im looking for something that retains heat well to go in my cold basement, has good throw, but won’t burn scent off super fast. Right now I’m debating over the Alabaster, Etched Core, or Stone Leaf ( I found one for sale). Thanks!

    Great idea for a video!! I agree the Night Sky warmer is great. I have two of them. Any of my glass warmers with grout/glass pieces overlaid do well in my home. Pearlescent Petals & Dragon Fly Away perform nicely for glass. My favourite warmer & my best performer is Starry Frontier. Honourable mentions - Salerno, Dreamcatcher & Whoot also a couple of oldies Crystal Woods, Crinkle & Mandela. As for minis I try to stick with ceramic - mini size Crinkle, Salerno, Whoot, Etched Core do well. So does that little house ‘Take Me Home.’ I’m loving the throw in my kitchen from the Indigo Tile element warmer. I didn’t care for the Grey Classic Curve - the wax didn’t melt at the edges. I gave it to my mom to use on her covered deck. This was fun! I might showcase my collection some time too!

    Been waiting for this video!! ❤️I have a large home with OC sand high ceilings so in my Master BR I use 3 full-size, my master bath I use 2 full size and a wall fan diffuser, my OC I generally have 6-7 Full size, my Guest room has 2 full size and a mini and the guest bath has a full size and a mini. I only use a wall Fan diffuser in the grandbabies playroom and on the sun porch! I use a LOT of wax 😝😂

    My worst warmer: Glisten (it’s just a much weaker throw than any of my others). Worst mini goes to Wire You Blushing, which is a shame because it’s the one that comes in the consultant kit.
    Best warmer: Champagne warmer. 40w throws the scent! I don’t find a ton of difference aside from that, although the Chromatic warmer from last June gets nice and hot for a glass.

    My best performer is definitely my starry frontier warmer, it's all ceramic and is an absolute powerhouse. My worst performer is my enchanted pumpkin. I have it in my room which is a good size but also not huge and I don't get great performance out of it. I still love it so it doesn't really bother me

  • @slangstn

    My best performers are my tried & true old ones! The orange Chevron ceramic & the zebra stripe element - classics but both throw so well. Now that I know 'more,' I found my beloved Bonehead warmer does not do well melting or throwing. I'm going to try replacing the bulb to see if that makes a difference. I love decorating with him year round though.
    This was a very informative video, good job!

    Night sky is one of my best performers and my worst performer is my Christmas gnome ..he’s cute but even though he has a hole in the back of his hat I find it pushes the scent backwards from the warmer and not out or up into the room. ..unless I take his hat off which defeats the object of having a red hat on my Christmas gnome. Interesting video ..thanks for the info and sharing. 🤗

  • @violetlucille

    Very interesting video. I, like you, have collected a number of warmers over the years. My best performer is a tie between flower vine (25 watt ceramic) and nest (element). Both are discontinued, but man do they throw amazing in my home. I agree with you 100% that the wildlife mini is the absolute worst warmer. Mine wouldn't melt the wax completely either, so now I just use it for a nightlight. Whoot is my best performing mini warmer. It has a fairly large dish for a mini and throws really well.

    I just love my Polar Panorama which is an 18W Element warmer. It has a nice large dish, but not SUPER hot heating so my scents last and last...
    When I change my wax (keeping in mind I never shut off any of my warmers except my bedroom one - I like dark when I sleep) I soak up the wax with a cotton ball, then use another cotton ball soaked in alcohol to remove any residue. Pop the dish back into warmer to finish drying while I chop my wax into separate cubes for all the warmers...

    I also have the crowned in gold and found it didn’t melt the wax all the way even in the smallest room. So what I’ve done is started using only 1/2 cube in my smaller room and it now melts it all the way. It isn’t the hugest scent throw but atleast I can smell it. Maybe try the half cube and see if it performs better for you. Good luck 👍🏻🍀

    • @FoxDreams
      @FoxDreams Год назад +1

      I have the Crowned in Gold in my bathroom, where there's no fan to cool the warmer's temperature. It does 1-1 1/2 cubes nicely -- but I've found with my Gatsby, in my bedroom, I had issues getting the wax melted. Until I realized I had my air purifier outlet blowing right on the warmer which cooled it too much to get a decent warmth and scent release going..turned the purifier so the air flow pointed away from my Gatsby, and it's fine now.
      So maybe check placement, if you're wanting more than half a cube - air flow is very important. (air can be going away from warmer but not onto it)

    After hearing your review I picked of Night Sky in a private sale. Yes! It’s a great performer! My worst performer is the 8w Country Canister element. I really wish I had known about the differences between element warmers before I purchased it. It was an absolute waste of money, but adorable. On the other hand, my Milk Glass 12W element is a fantastic performer! The Love 12w element is good, but not great. I had very high hopes for the Vino, but it’s really only a medium performer with an unimpressive throw. Honestly, my mini Rose and mini Etched Core are better than all of them. Two other really fantastic warmers are the full-size Chasing Fireflies and both mini and full size Live Simply. They are excellent excellent performers! I have two more minis coming next month, Lavender and Chasing Fireflies, so I’ll be excited to see how they do! I heard they were pretty great!
    Would you be able to share your thoughts on the white Etched Core compared to the Alabaster? They seem very similar, but I prefer the look of the Etched Core. That said, which do you think would perform best with 1-2 cubes in a very cold basement? Which do you think would perform best with 1 -2 cubes in a medium kitchen? My main concerns for both areas are throw and longevity while using a minimum amount of wax. I recently bought the navy blue Curve, but that was a total bust for the basement. The corners wouldn’t melt the wax and it has a very unimpressive throw. Thank you so much for any thoughts you could share!

    • @elizabethsscenesscents
      @elizabethsscenesscents  2 года назад +1

      I always recommend the Alabaster, the Etched Core does well for my mother. A cold basement is just more of a challenge in general I had the Gray classic curve for awhile and it was great, even in my basement. If u can find a Stone Leaf somewhere( it’s retired) that is a Good heat retainer.

    Thank you for this, very interesting! I think my two best performing warmers are the Aspen Grove warmer and an old Scentsy warmer I’ve had a long time called Pinecone. It has a big square dish. I’ve had a lot of luck with the fan diffusers too. Mine can throw scent through my whole classroom, out into the hallway. I have the Glimmer and Glow warmer and I haven’t had really good luck with that one as far as scent throw, with or without the lid, but I just use it as a decoration and I’m pretty happy with it that way! Do you know how well the glass 40 watt type warmers work? I’ve been thinking about getting the Shining Light one, partly as an accent light.

    Mirrored Rose' is like your Charred to me. Not a great performer, but so pretty I keep it out and usually don't put wax in it. I don't ever buy glass minis anymore since my first one that didn't perform well. Those ones with the plastic/acrylic interior don't do well either. That's the only reason I won't get the Wire You Blushing full size. It would look great with the mini, but I won't, as the mini doesn't perform well for me. I have the Seashore which is similar - has a metal outer like Aspen, and I use it in the laundry room mainly as a nightlight. I do love the wall pattern it throws. I think they need to stop it with that acrylic/plastic stuff, especially since the mini prices went up.

    I cleaned my scentsy dishes a month or so ago and it was such a struggle. It was basically elbow grease and some baking soda paste. I didn't even think about using a scrub mommy! Thanks for the tip!
    I have a few element warmers (Fitzgerald, Love, Fruit Crate, Birds of a Feather) and I do think the scent lingers slow and steady like you said. I've been eyeing that Aloe Vera warmer and the desert bloom - even the suc-cute-lent warmer- basically all the plants!
    And yes I love the look of so many glass mini warmers but ugh yes performance is not as great as ceramic. I have an outlet that is within a straight shot from an air vent and its pointless to put wax in there. It will never melt.
