The drive through that part of the Oregon coast can be quite terrifying at night. I’ll never forget it as one of the scariest night drives I’ve ever done in bad weather. Very cool to see you getting some sweet light that complemented your wave shots well. I kind of prefer that type of post storm / middle of a storm breaking light over a massively colorful sunset. The shot of the tree trunks with that orange looking fungi was fantastic. Looking forward to watching part 2.
Some great woodland images Jared, I really like the close up images of the texture on the trees, the bark looks fantastic. Its always good to get a selection of images, close up and wide, to really tell the storey of an area. You got a new sub 👍
Jared, stunning wave photography. My wife Shelley and I drove the coast from Seattle to San Francisco back in the early spring of 2018. Redwoods was fun but challenging to photograph. I found that by adding myself or Shelley to the composition, the photographs came out better. The trees are so large that you need another subject to give a sense of scale to the image. Thank you for sharing, and I look forward to seeing your next video.
Love the Oregon coast. I've been to some of the major spots but definitely lots left to explore. I totally agree about needing more memory cards when you shoot waves. So many different ways to interpret the scene with a camera. Nice video!

Great stuff Jared! This one has me wanting to go back. I think the tree shot at 8:22 is my favorite. Really nails that coastal Oregon feel
Thanks buddy! Yeah that is probably my favorite of this part of the trip, too.

Just food for thought. Have your voice over be louder than your music.
Thanks!
9/10 video. Would be 10/10 but you tried to open a locked van at 2:16
You’re like two weeks too late for this comment. It doesn’t even matter anymore.
