I believe that McCallum's wage demands were the primary reason that he ended up on the retained list of Norwich. They were off-scale to what he showed on the pitch and what Norwich were prepared to offer him.

@@JustiiceBraave You talk like it’s a certainty they will be signed. And it’s true we need someone like Sheaf in particular. Maybe one or both will sign but who knows. But it is undeniable we lack experience at the highest levels.

If Celtic sells a player to the Prem or a top six Championship side they ask for fees of at least £ 10M for their players. So why should Norwich be content for £ 6M for 23 old striker with 4 years left on his contract??? Celtic, offer a decent seven figure fee or get lost.
