Temu is dangerous. Them orange packages seem to be showing up weekly. LOL! They have beautiful papers, stencils, stickers, and crafting supplies. I can't STOP!
Yep same here I got on to Temu's site and I can't find my way out of the Rabbit Hole for realz!! Lol I know "for realz!" Isn't proper English language so "for real!" Lol have a blessed day and true about the orange packages showing up often!! Lol
I almost passed out to see you working with water, coffee, and spray inks near your computer! But, of course, you know what you're doing! I have SO many book pages I need to use. I love these ideas! Thank you for teaching me new ideas!! Carry on!!!
I love your channel so much, I feel like I haven't been receiving any notifications of new videos lately :( You really make my day and you inspire me so much. I just love the, "who gives a $hit" attitude... DO YOU! and have fun doing it! IT'S JUST PAPER!!! I love it! thank you so much for your inspiring videos! thank you thank you thank you! lots of love from the PNW!
Hi Pam! I have ordered from Temu, and have been pleased with the products. I have used their stamps, stencils, scrapbook paper and stickers. Good quality and low prices. Also Dollar Tree has lots of stencils!
I just wanted to say thank you, Pam. I have loved old paper all my life. I've bought and sold old paper the last 20 years or so, but I've always longed to be able to DO SOMETHING with it. Your style of reckless abandon is exactly what I need. Thanks so much for the great inspiration, I desperately need it and, with your help, I am starting to finally do something with my mounds of old paper. Keep being recklass!
Such a good video…I like the mixed media using stencils…I coffee stained book pages on my break from work today. Took about 7 minutes and I’ll stencil at a later time…thank you
Hi everyone! It’s another day at The Post! Pam you are so brave to work with coffee especially, but I probably would choose outdoors or in the kitchen! Way to go! Sweet dreams sweet Sunshine! Tyfs!
Team is excellent craft supplies resource! Did you know if you cook coffee down to a Sludge & store in a jar or plastic covered bowl it make a great ink? Smear on with finger it's cool. I believe I learned it from Just Journaling with Possum Patty.Excellent ideas by the way. 🐞🐞🐞💖
I love the craft supplies on Temu. I ordered some awesome stuff on their website: Stencils, some paper packs, some faux vintage floral stamps, and because I don't own a sewing machine I also bought one of those little handy stitch sewing things on there. My advice is to get a regular sewing machine though because the handy stitch doesn't lock in your stitch. After sewing and cutting your thread you have to flip over your project and pull the string through the back of whatever your sewing because of you don't the minute you pull the string all your stitches will pull out.
Well that was a fun play. I love using book pages for stuff like this. 😊 As for Temu I have ordered some craft supplies from them and they have good prices BUT...they get into all your other apps (I think it's called Spyware) so i deleted all their stuff from my phone (but have read you need a factory reset to really get rid of them). I suggest you all research them on line before getting involved with them. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
I have gone amok since I discovered you and my love for papers and junkjournaling. Even went so far as to look for a Edith Holden book and oh my is it beautiful. My dilemma now- how in the world to cut in it? How do you all do it, cutting pages from books like this? Fist cut is probably the most difficult, as I find it to do my first junkjournalpage. This video was very helpful for me as I needed to know these tecinques. Does the paper smell coffee after (not such a coffefan) ?
How does Sunshine eat with his fur covering his mouth? It's the same thing with my husband when he goes too long without a trim 🤣🥰 Here's a bone for sweet Sunbun 🦴❤️
Temu is great for craft stuff and craft storage stuff! And have you tried SHEIN? They also have amazing craft stuff so much cheaper than Amazon. You just gotta wait a bit longer from these places. Hope you and Sunny are having a wonderful day! Happy crafting!
I have ordered from Temu. It is a China based business and is shipped out of China. They are cheap. The only problem I have had, is the description are minimal and sometimes no references on actual sizes, things appear to be bigger on site than actually are. The quality is a litter better than I expected on most things. It is still a pure Chinese company based in US. When I found out, not sure if I want to continue.
I order from temu often. I especially like them for Junk Journal supplies but I have also bought some pajamas and clothes from them and have been very happy with it. But I do use PayPal
Hi Pam, always creating on the fly, just love it. Question, would substituting food coloring for the spray inks work in the process? I am thinking of trying it but thought I'd ask your opinion. Thanks!
Good Morning, Pam and amazing fellow Outpostians! Pam... you are BRAVE. Water near your computer? Dripping coffee dye onto your mouse? 😮😮😮😮😮😮 I'm not even 3/4 through, and I'm biting my nails and flinching when you get too close to the computer with wet stuff. 😂 However, once again... you've inspired what my day will likely contain. Maybe. 😂 These are looking AMAZING, and it really does make me want to alter some book pages now. I even found my heat gun this morning, so I can finally dry them faster (my stove/oven has been broken for way too long, plus... its gas. I dont like the idea of paper in a gas oven.. maybe i'm paranoid, but...) 😂 Anyway, it's a toss-up if it'll be this today.. or about my current project (making a small postage stamp/small ephemera album with transparent pockets and ZERO sewing) Warning: What follows IS a bit long-winded, but it's about the Postage Stamp Album I'm currently contructing, including basic instructions if anyone wants to try. I've loved the vintage postage stamp albums I've seen other youtubers use that they were either gifted or found in thift places (with the vellum or clear pockets that let you SEE the tiny stuff? Yes, please!), but I haven't found one yet in my thrifting haunts. So... I've been working out HOW to make something like them in my head for years. THIS version is the best one I've actually made (had numerous failures before even getting to the construction phase, and one that... well, it worked for other stuff, lol). I am like 1 or 2 days (my body only allows me to "play" for up to an hour before it needs a similarly long break - it's frustrating, but it does give stuff a chance to dry 😂) from finishing. I've made it from 14 oversized journaling cards (5x7 i think? If anyone wants to know, I'll actually measure it), and 2 same-sized pieces of medium-weight chipboard for the outer covers. This mini- album has no hard spine. I used washi-tape (glued of course, i don't trust washi!) hinges to hinge them in groups of two, and then attached those groups together together the same way. I took a wider washi and wrapped the entire spine at the end so I can then attach fabric over it and use the "wings" of the fabric spine to attach to the inside covers. Then, more fabric on outside to cover the spine area. (Not quite to the cover attaching stage) Before I did ANY attaching together, I took acetate journal cards (the most unusual item, imo, that is sold to put in those kinds of journals that use the premade/sized cards, etc - i got a HUGE box of these regular and acetate cards at thrift store for like 3$!) - they all had some kind of printed design, so... i chopped them up. 😅 1" tall strips, and cut them to the size my album needed, allowing 3/4" clearance from the spine. (After basic decoration of pages), I Fabritac glued them on as pockets (no sewing machine available right now). Yes, the glue is ugly. I can cover it with washi or trim later, but I just don't care. Lol. I did decorate a little more with collage & rubber stamps on some of the cards (had blank backs, or i wanted to hide some of the words, or whatever) before gluing on the clear pockets. It's taking days to put together, not just cus my body loves to fight me 😂, but because glue takes a while to dry. Lol. My covers are mostly finished now and fully dry, too (decoupaged a napkin on one side & glued map paper to the insides, just gotta add pretties now), so I'm HOPING I can finish the covers and then put this thing together in one day. ❤ And then... dig out my small box of stamps and organize my "pretties", aka... my postage stamps. And hope I have enough room... hehe I do have a few suggestions/tips: One of those slide-cutters-trimmers is perfect for acetate. Cut from the "exposed" edge of the acetate up towards the edge that abutts the trimmer. Pulling it down makes it slide; you NEED it braced. (Yes, thin double sided tape is the standard for attaching acetate, but I detest it for pockets.) NGL, it wasn't easy gluing, either. A very thin stream is needed and expect it to go everywhere, anyway. 😂 I kept one of those wooden sticks from a nail set near me and used it to clean up edges. And, when cutting your acetate, make sure to give yourself room on the spine side for your hinging. (You can use strips of paper or washi tape - I just used Pam's thumb-mauever on the glue stick for the washi. Any edges that wanted to pop up after, I just used a drop of Art Glitter Glue to keep it in place- that metal tip is AMAZING for tiny areas! If anyone wants better instructions, let me know... I'll try to organize my rambling stream-of-thought ways, fill it out with a bit more info, and only then, post it. Hehe. ❤ Btw... this thing is adorable so far, and with 28 total pages, with 2-3 rows of pockets each equals lots of storage. I want to make a few more, now - but I'm now out of the acetate cards! 😂 So, I'll find something else, like packaging plastic, or even break into my actual vellum. These little translucent/transparent pocket albums are great for all kinds of mini ephemera! Labels, tags, punched pieces/die cuts, fussy cut stuff, etc. I want to make one with belly-band style "pockets" for my altered paperclips, too! 😊 Hey Pam... feel free to take this "made-from-scratch" stamp album/ephemera storage idea and run with it for a future video. 😊
Question for you: Do you have a video that explains how to add in the smaller sheets to a journal that does not use the sewing machine? I'm going to use regular paper folded in half, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. My book page will be 5x7.25. How do I attach it to the binding of the journal? Thank you for all your videos.
Pam, How do you deal with the smell of coffee? I had to let paper sit for over a year to get rid of it? Do you ar anyone have a suggestion. Possibly a dye that is a coffee color? ❤🎉
Ohhhhh Nooooo!!😮 you be careful with Temu!!!! Highly addictive and sooooooo much stuff!! It's unreal!! You can emboss with your stencils using a small silicone mat and device of choice.😊
Very interesting!!!🤔👍can you kinda give me the instructions to this method? I truly would appreciate it very much! Have a blessed day

Hello Pam and Sunshine 🌞! 💕
I love random spraying with stencils tfs Pam...Kia Kaha...
Have you thought of putting up a line of twine? (You can use to hang up your papers with clothes pins.)That's removable when your papers are dry?
Awesome play with book pages, love how they turned out. 🤗💕

Hi sweet Sunshine. I hope you don't end up purple, but you'd be adorable in any color. ❤❤❤😁
Temu has great stuff cheap...AND GO TO YOUR LOCAL DOLLAR TREE!!!!!!
Yes… Cool stencils…. Stack under a 1.00
Hi Pam, always creating on the fly, just love it. Question, would substituting food coloring for the spray inks work in the process? I am thinking of trying it but thought I'd ask your opinion. Thanks!
❤❤❤
Good Morning, Pam and amazing fellow Outpostians!
Pam... you are BRAVE. Water near your computer? Dripping coffee dye onto your mouse? 😮😮😮😮😮😮 I'm not even 3/4 through, and I'm biting my nails and flinching when you get too close to the computer with wet stuff. 😂 However, once again... you've inspired what my day will likely contain. I dont like the idea of paper in a gas oven.. maybe i'm paranoid, but...) 😂 Anyway, it's a toss-up if it'll be this today.. or about my current project (making a small postage stamp/small ephemera album with transparent pockets and ZERO sewing)
Warning: What follows IS a bit long-winded, but it's about the Postage Stamp Album I'm currently contructing, including basic instructions if anyone wants to try.
And hope I have enough room... hehe
I do have a few suggestions/tips:
One of those slide-cutters-trimmers is perfect for acetate.
Hehe. ❤
Btw... this thing is adorable so far, and with 28 total pages, with 2-3 rows of pockets each equals lots of storage. 😊
Hey Pam... feel free to take this "made-from-scratch" stamp album/ephemera storage idea and run with it for a future video.
Good thing you used dark colors, because you sprayed your mouse again😊
Where did u get the brushes ou used for stenciling. I could not tell
Pam,
How do you deal with the smell of coffee?
I had to let paper sit for over a year to get rid of it?
Do you ar anyone have a suggestion.
Possibly a dye that is a coffee color?
❤🎉
Ohhhhh Nooooo!!😮 you be careful with Temu!!!! Highly addictive and sooooooo much stuff!! It's unreal!! And for me I maybe looking for say like some stencli's and so I'm on my merry way to that craft area and..... what do you think happens???🤔🤔🤔 if you guessed I went squirreled you'd be absolutely correct!! 8-9 hours later I AM SOOO FAR DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE I FORGOT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR HOWEVER MY CART HAS 100 PLUS ITEMS IN IT !😮😅😂😂 It's dangerous for sure!! But I've ordered and their stuff is really good quality and ship's pretty quick!! The one thing that I need to watch for is the actual size of items! My fault really I don't really like measuring but I should at least look at the sizes like for instance you ordered some Victorian paper pack and when you recieve the item it's like baby sized and I assumed it was like regular size paper sheets!! But again it's my fault! Hope this either warns some of you or encourages you to try Temu out! God bless y'all have a wonderful day!
All I can say is What a happy mess!😂
Love this idea, don't like coffee even the smell makes me.sick.... I'm.gonma try and test with tea....or open to any other suggestions......
I can't get my hands on any of that ink you use with the stensils (or ANY, really)... You think eye-shadow could work (would it "stick"/last)?
I'm guessing taking the ink from color markers would work... but, Idk... might be "too strong" (stain other pages even aftwr it dries up...?)
I'd appreciate any 'replacement' options/ideas.
Thanks!
💕🙏🏼🌷
Gel food coloring might work better🤷♀️
You are awesome, and you know what, that I suddenly thougth you sound like Frasiers stepmother that the father married in serie frasier if you you know what I ment 😱😂 omg even your laugther nice laugh too 🫶🏻
So many adds. Spoils the fun🥺
don't order from temu! they've been selling ALL your information! (including your payment info)
Great I have collected old books since watching you while I work.✌️😊🍁🍁🍁🌈🦴🎨🎨🎨
Hubby bought the cheap stuff (not crystals 🥲) and since I could stand to wait, I plunged in. Still worked but not as good as the crystals would’ve. Lesson learned!
❤❤❤❤
