Vedanta Society of New York is affiliated with the Ramakrishna Order of India. In fact, this is the Order's first Center started by Swami Vivekananda, in 1894. It was a historic event, for the seed of the world-wide Ramakrishna Movement was sown here in New York over a century ago. Swami Sarvapriyananda is the present Resident Minister and Spiritual Leader of the Vedanta Society of New York.
He is God incarnate. I attended his discourses in Bombay (April 24-26) and even got a chance to prostrate to his divinity in person. It has been a surreal experience and I can only say, I have touched 'Divinity'.🙏❤

Guruji has a knack for coming up with excellent titles for his talks. I'm also very excited for the two upcoming lectures on *Shunyam* (emptiness) and *Poornam* (completeness).

The Self (Shiva/God/Allah/Buddha/Turiya) veils itself as Life for its own Joy; this Joy being the ability to experience Companionship more commonly known as Love. In other words. Life is more joyous when properly understood what Life is and especially why Life/Self is. Beautiful. Beyond beautiful.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
I listen to Swami S every day. Priceless knowledge brought forth by this great teacher and spiritual guide. We can only be grateful for this gifted teacher of life itself

Swami ji should have a conversation with Tom Campbell..his my big toe metaphors are new but it's attepting to coveying what vedanta was ..infact it helped me understand vedanta better as metaphors are more relatable to new day..eg consciousness which is fundamental gets a data stream..this world reality is like a virtual reality aka Maya.. we are all part of larger consciousness system aka God.. initially it's can be difficult to get used to his metaphors but then it opens up new dimensions of understanding
Many times I heard that shree ramakrishna touches the shree vivekananda and Vivekananda finally understand the everything is consciousness and I thinks that only consciousness can gives you experience like your body gives you an experience of pain and it is also consciousness as same this rock or tree or chair if it is not consciousness then it can't gives you an experience.
We are blessed to live at the same time as Swamiji ...and RUclips ☺️

Outstanding and no words are enough to describe Swamy like Brahma cannot be described. It appears Sakaracharya has come as Sarbapriyananda to spread Vedanta Brahma in a lucid and humorous way among the masses all world over staying in the States. He is a hope to the Sinner and the best Vedantic teacher the world has seen in the 21st century. Swamy bless us all.
