One of the most underrated artists of our generation, pure class. His latest album is a joy beginning to end, “Everywhere “ my favourite. You should definitely check more of his work, he never misses❤.
That was a unique moment that only comes once in a lifetime. This recording has everything , really everything you can express from the bottom of your soul . Unforgettable
That is just right: his soul’s not from here! I love this video, thank you for shearing your first time with this song, I share your feelings listening to it. Every. Single. Time.
Yeah I would agree 💯 with all of the previous comments. Every album he releases brings something different to the table with styles and the overall feel to the albums. You definitely need to checkout Paolo’s cover version of ‘I’d rather go blind’ His previous song ‘Scream (funk my life up)’ live on Jools Holland And 2 new releases from his latest album ‘Everywhere’ ‘Through the echoes’ This man always gives 💯 on every performance and delivers 🔥all the time. It’s like his passion and emotion seeps into your bloodstream and feeds your soul 🏴🎵🎶💯🔥🙏🏻💐
Sunny Side Up was the first album from Paolo I heard and it was as of he had discovered his fathers record collection and did a song in each artists style. Just a wonderful album. Definitely Otis vibes here ❤
Found an album in a bargain section in a supermarket for £1 and when i took it to the till i asked what they were playing at?? Blasting from my car now!!!
You could react to his new material, pick any song in the "Live in the Bittersweet" series, or to some of his earlier stuff, like Pencil full of lead (live session), Coming up easy at Montreux Jazz Festival, One Day (official accoustic) etc. You can't go wrong with any song in his catalogue, he's that good.
He absoloutely should be one of the most famous singers on the planet with a voice like that he simply doesnt want to. Generational talent.@@paulinehannon4514
He was born in Scotland then moved to the UK He is of Italian and Scot decent(thick Scottish accent ) Paisley Scotland was his upbringing. I absolutely cry everytime I hear his Iron Sky filmed at Abbey Road
I'm sorry that Iron sky is what people most react too. subject and style wise it's kind of an anomaly for him. This sort of thing is more usual. the only thing about this particular performance is evidently they'd been joking around with the audience and emcee between the songs and he seems to be trying not to crack a laugh, he keeps smiling when this song is usually delivered with a more serious/sad style.
I've listened and watched a number of different versions of this song, and his live versions are far and away better than the studio versions of this song. This particular version at the Leon Loft is my favorite . He so deeply conveys his emotional distress, it makes you relive those moments where you shared that same emotion. Maybe he's not the best at "vocal gymnastics", but he makes you realize that there is far more to singing than just technique.
I love Paolo , and have don’t you years , he really has a wonderful songwriting ability and many of the songs where written when he was a teenager , but as I come from same city as him , I think I can say this without causing offence ,I’ve seen him live on a couple of occasions mainly in London . The crowd go wild naturally but the cannot understand him particularly when he intros next song or speaks ( I have the very same accent so don’t come for me , ) I moved from Scotland to England when a teen . I believe he needs dictation lessons because singing in a broad Glasgow accent ,although novel ,may be holding his career back he sings like he talks . He has so much talent but i believe he could develop a worldwide and lasting career if he wants it ,think Van Morrison ( who also has a strong northern Irish lilt but is doesn’t come across in his performance well perhaps in very early work ) I’m not suggesting he needs to drop his accent completely I never have ,but I think in recording and performance it needs softening . I believe he could have the longevity of Morrison on his songwriting alone . I’m sure he would make a good living writing for other artists if he doesn’t want to continue with gigs . Scotland has produced many talented artists over the years but you couldn’t tell from their singing voice , I say him at the Astoria ,I had to act as interpreter when he spoke lol . Anyway that’s my 2 cents worth . I wish him all good things in his career ,but I know he is close to his family and maybe doesn’t want a major career as he likes to be near family and friends nothing wrong with that . JMTAO
Just discovered him lately and he always delivers a wow performance. Love it.

Dang Paolo!

We should be friends 😂
Thank you for mentioning Mr Otis Redding. That's why I love his music.🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Watch him do I'd rather go blind
First video I watch of yours but man your voice is a true radiovoice!
Otis Redding vibes absolutely! He should record Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay.
Definitely!.
It's a travesty why he isn't a superstar.
He absoloutely should be one of the most famous singers on the planet with a voice like that he simply doesnt want to. Generational talent.@@paulinehannon4514

unfortunately Scotland is in the UK, hopefully not for much longer .
He still lives in Glasgow Scotland
Pure io piango sempre - quando ascolto PAOLO / TI STRAPPA L ANIMA - TI SGUARCIA IL ❤ - CHE EMOZIONI CHE BRIVIDI
❤👌🏽
I saw him live. One of the BEST concerts I'd seen. He performs with his whole soul. Then, took time for everyone afterwards.
If you haven't, his cover of id rather go blind by etta james 👌
Oh come on guys would love to see dude react to Iron Sky live at Abby Road🤯
He literally just said that he'd already done that near the start of the video.
For something entirely different but still completely gobsmacking try his cover of Gimme Shelter.
You have listened to candy live and iron sky.
He is like the male reincarnation of Janis Joplin in this performance. Absolutely amazing!
I'm sure someone has said it but on songs like this one he reminds me of Wilson Pickett.
❤
Such a great song and artist, I would recommend everywhere or iron sky by him
He’s already reacted to iron sky and candy.

"Otis Reading vibes" hell of a compliment right there
Jay Sikora on the drums. Knew him from my college days many years ago :D
I'd love your reaction to his actual voice speaking bc he's from Glasgow

Hes like bob Marley mixed with sam cooke and john mayer
A bit of Rod Steward Style ;)

Love paulo try gerry cinnamon, another scottish genius
You're remembering the Tesky Brothers in the beginning. Maybe this is already mentioned somewhere - later.
No I'm wrong, you're talking about Iron Sky. But also the Tesky Brothers should be in the convo. ❤
Channeling Otis Redding
Iron sky is his best song
Five rappids tae the gut five punches lol
The last hope left in music. Keep it going wee Paolo son
E vero lui e' unico -
