  • The nation’s top drug-enforcement body will soon reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug. That would be a historic shift in drug policy that’ll have ripple effects across the nation. It’ll be the DEA’s biggest policy change in more than 50 years.

      My career was in pharmacy. Many drugs are natural substances that are strong enough to kill in certain doses. Female hormones are derived from horse urine…There’s a lot of heart medications that are from natural plants. Yes, even naturally derived drugs should be considered drugs, regardless whether they are natural or synthetically made. As some are capable of taking a human life. Do your research before making assumptions….😮

    The GM corporation ended buses in major cities, Standard oil ended natural plant based medicine in favor of petroleum based medicine.
    Also prohibition started with how invested members of congress were in Denim, and how much of a competitor Hemp was. Levi’s led the charge in courts and even held votes on days they knew no one would be present, they were supplying our militaries clothing also of course it was a competitor for paper and construction: hence William Randolph hurst and the paper mill wars. Marijuana was Criminalized as a dangerous drug in Co- Ordination to have a way to keep it from being grown at all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with cannabis it should be completely de scheduled holding onto any form of scheduling at this point leads to profit making for the system. It is far safer than alcohol much safer. It’s hard to believe we’re told what to think about certain things to protect someone’s pocketbook-

      No, it really only affects the larger grow operations so that now they can utilize the banks, it doesn’t affect the recreational user who likes to grow their own and Georgia will be the last state in the country to legalize cannabis. This is about politics, people scream oh this is historic! Look what Joe has done, forget everything else and vote for him! It’s just another distraction, a shiny object so we don’t see their sleight of hand. It doesn’t change 💩 when it comes to state level.

      No, he didn't, he had his entire administration to don't pretend he wanted it, he said in 2018 that he "probably" would support the bill but did not support it because it was introduced with Democrat cosponsors, even still it passed the senate then the Trump favored house refused to vote on it and he did not try to get them to. He had his whole administration to do something in support and chose not to just like every president over the last 50 years except Carter. The process requires 1 of 2 paths. 1, a formal request from the president or attorney general to the DEA to begin an investigation in to reclassifying the drug. 2, congress passes legislation legalizing it.
      The Biden administration made the request during the beginning of September 2023 you can go find an article if you want to.

      Your logic is flawed. People don't get high on pot and beat their wives, drive 100 MPH into an innocent family driving down the roadway or get uncontrollably angry while using it. Maybe you should do some research before you talk out of your a$$ and make your self look like a complete moron. In every study for the past 50+ years they have found that marijuana is far safer than alcohol, prescription medications, and all other illegal drugs including the ones that are at lower schedules.

    • @Ryuujinv01
      @Ryuujinv01 18 дней назад

      No, it doesn't and that's not even to call pot safe, even though I could make that argument separately because the only thing that destroys families is the state calling it illegal. Factually, mostly because of the pervasiveness of it, alcohol damages more families than heroin. More than 70% of the country consumes it literally every week it is not too far behind heroin in how physically addictive it is too. 3/4 of the symptoms of a hangover are physical withdrawal. That's why most effective hangover cures contain small amounts of alcohol, because heroin junkies feel more like themselves and less sick too when they get a fix.
