this has to be the most romatic scene ever, it so proves that the love is much deeper than just sex! and how much they love each other! lovin sawyers puppy eyes! another great scene is the one where she tells sun she didnt get a chance to say goodbye, why would she be so upset and look for the letter is she did not love him. SKate all the way!
Here's the thing. Sawyer/Kate is ROMANTIC, nothing else on that show has the same feel...This pairing just has that sweetness, that longing. Jack and Kate's pseudo drama doesn't even compare.
My friends and I were freaking out during this scene. First when Jack and Sawyer hugged we went. Aw that was cute. And then when Sawyer and Kate looked at each other and the way they looked at each other. Gah *Melts*. One of my friends wanted them to kiss, but the hug was so much better and it showed that their relationship is waaaay deeper than kisses and hot sex.
Jaters can say all they want, but it isn't gonna change the fact that Kate DOES love Sawyer, as shown all too well in this beautiful scene!! Kate and Sawyer should definitely end up together.

Sawyer still loved kate, he lied to horace, to juliet, he couldn't avoid to look at her the whole time, He let jin doing grid search ' for 3 years AND 'as long as it takes' only one day before they finally returned.He never said ily to juliet first, he answered like he answered his conned women in the past.After her death he never mentioned her again. He was grieving in another house, not the one, he lived with juliet. Why? The ring was stolen from nicki and paolo together with the diamonds in S. 3- (no Juliet around, but Kate! ), who were in a little black bag( he threw some diamonds into the grave, but not the ring. He took it before or after the funeral) . In S. 6 Miles found one diamond, that was the prove, that sawyer lost one, when he took a ring or a few stones for himself) . Why Juliet herself called him James, although 'he hated that name', Phil said -( to Locke: don't call me james!'). When he met zoe, he called himself' sawyer' again. The others and dharma members called kate his girl friend, to kate they called sawyer her lover, asf...They knew well to read people and their behaviour!
Hehe! I know this scene is not about it but... it kinda amuse me that even when Sawyer has a moment when he gets all touchy, huggy and all, he has to ruin this impression the next second... like here: 'What the hell is she doing here?!' Great actor though XD
Mmh, I guess that's why she always cries when she's around him. Jack showed how much he thinks of Kate when he left her behind in the hands of killers in TMFT. How anyone can still like that pairing after that scene is beyond me.
Keep on telling yourself that. Those same people were about to kill Sawyer a few days earlier and tortured Kate & Sawyer for weeks. It's always a lot of fun to read the Jater's rationalisations of the handcuff scene.
Jack knew that they didn't hurt Kate, by the way, Kate hurt Jack when she kissed Sawyer and she didn't care about that. Come on, you can't say that you like Sawyer? If that character was real everyone would hate him, he is nothing for Kate. he is just bringing her down to his own leavel.
