Rose is a member of Blackpink along with Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo. She has been under constant scrutiny and backlash for her weight/ body. She is accused of extreme dieting since debut despite her healthy appetite and non-restrictive diet.

She is definitely shamed by fans for being “too skinny” when it’s her natural body. I have a coworker about her size and she eats fine and I’m definitely not gonna tell her she doesn’t. Let this girl breathe and live happily in her skin
They are just jealous cause she has a great body shape and size and a healthy weight if I am not wrong.
@@sunainagope7530 why should they be jealous? Everyone has a perfect body. Just be healthy and that's enough 😌
Rose is not skinny She's beautiful and cute
Thats not her fault to be too skinny
People really need to understand that being thin doesn't mean being unhealthy, and that thin-shaming is as bad as fat-shaming.
I don’t understand why people don’t believe you can eat three meals a day and still maintain slim body. Idols, in particular, are dancing and physically more active.
dancing burns so many calories, and if that’s their job, it’s no surprise idols are so thin. I myself lost 4kg without changing diets when I started dancing, and that’s just a passive hobby that I do for an hour a day 💀💀
You are right but also a big part of mantaining such a slim body só easily is due to genetics which lets some people have a really fast metabolism
Ikr, it's always normalize bodies until they see someone thin with an hourglass body saying it
@@akuaik.100 Yes. Finally someone who understands that everything isn't about just meals and exercise. Genetics play a big role. More important than most people think.
@@fairytalearts810 yess me too, even tho i'm not really that active. Everyday i dance in random (just following the idol) feeling the music lol, but it's affect tho in me personally and i'm not in diet i eat whenever i feel hungry (like 2 am lmao). my weight just normal not thin but not fat also. oh stress really make me gained weight so always stay positive.
“Normalize normal bodies” is a quote I see on the internet a lot. Well then, that also entails that skinny bodies should be just as “normalized” and accepted as curvier ones. Rosé is one of the most stable idols in terms of weight in the kpop industry. I really dislike how so called fans call idols who are thicker “healthy/ having a healthy body”, as if being skinny automatically makes you have an Ed or being sick…??
You cannot determine wether someone is “healthy” by judging their size, that is just ridiculous. As long as the idols do not show obvious signs of not taking care of themselves it is safe to say they’re fine, and their weight is none of anyone’s business except for themselves and their doctor for that matter~~
EXACTLY! and it’s the lowkey rude ass behavior for me!! They’ll compliment another member by calling them “a healthy body” only to try and insult the skinnier girls even though they’re naturally skinny?!??🧐
to be honest I hate that quote, bodies are different in general. Rose and Lisa are an example of being skinny (naturally) and people are creating extreme diets when everyone is different. A number shouldn't be a reason to determine a person health, and its true I hate when fans (especially international fans) calls thicker idols healthy like excuse me, not everyone body is the same especially when height is actually a factor. You can be tall and have a weight of 50 kg and your body is different than a person that is short, people think that everyone is going to be the same.
@Nessie Stone People (in general) need to stop looking for BMI because is a problem, you can eat well, exercise, and a lot but your body is different so that's why you can't "gain" weight, and a lot of doctors try to excuse that your weight is your main problem (if you are chubby doctors ignore your actual problem bc of a number of the scale). Rose and Lisa at this day need to show their foods bc people think they are starving themselves which isn't the case.
@@tulupratihar6799 Body shaming is general, but the point is that a lot of these idols have normal bodies (not going to focus en weight or BMI) and people still criticise them
@@tulupratihar6799 Fat shaming ,you can say, doesn't exist in the world of kpop. Yes, some people out there fat shame artists ,but skinny shaming is dangerous in kpop. People think fat people are being shamed so they say ,"I like their body bcuz atleast they are healthy." But they unconsciously, shame the skinny artists. They think only fat shaming is bad but you must know fat shaming and skinny shaming are the same. Jennie eats less than Rosé but people think she is healthier than Rosé and this is why I think you should not judge if a person is healthy or not just by looking at their body.
It’s possible to eat three meals a day and not gain weight. Growing up you realize it’s always the skinniest kids eating the most because their metabolism runs fast and they need more food for energy. It’s not hard to comprehend, y’all just playing dumb.
Literally. And they’re burning so many calories while practicing and exercising.
I literally have eaten 4 to 5 meals a day for at least 5 years now and I still can't gain a pound. It sucks cause I've been body shamed my whole life and gaining weight is literally impossible for me
You won't gain wain if you eat real food but if for every 3 meals you eat the Whopper + coke + large fries of course you gonna get fat, those are 1200 calories per meal.
My brother has a naturally skinny body. He hates that people comment on his weight when he has trouble gaining muscles. I don't even eat seconds because he eats them before I can even finish my portion. He then eats around 2 hours later. He eats food into the night. I remember growing up and my dad having to go to McDonald's 2-3 a day because my brother was always hungry. If he doesn't eat enough in a week or two he loses a lot of weight
I eat 4 meals a day(that's how our country is) and I'm still skinny af and still ppl make fun of my "chopstick legs" with no working out or anything (I stopped dancing a long time ago because of some injuries in my foot) and I still look the same always
Rosé definitely has the genetics where even gaining bulky muscle is near impossible. She’s fit but her muscles are small her body fat is probably on the lower side and her frame is small, she’s just meant to be small forever. She’s definitely a good role model for a healthy lifestyle but if your only goal is to look like her without the same genetics it’d be impossible.
Side note: Clearly I’m not Rosé’s doctor so this is just my opinion. I cannot speak on her health or anyone else’s but I genuinely believe we all develop differently based on genetics, lifestyle choices, and ethnic backgrounds.
That's very well said and i think the same
Same arms muscles like me but when i eat a lot food my metabolism is very fast. I was fat kid back then 10, 11 yrs old me i decided decrease my food cuz i was so bloated back then & when i eat every food i drink more until i realized i need to not drinking water, so i need to eat a lot food before drinking more water.
exactly
That's right. I am sure she eats as much as she wants to she just isn't type of person that gains weight. Same as Sunmi who has been skinny shamed and tried so hard to gain weight but it just wasn't natural for her and she came back to weight that her body "wants". Sometimes even bmi can be wrong when we say how much a person should weight because there are exception for everything.
True. People need to understand that being thin doesn't mean being unhealthy, and that thin-shaming is as bas as fat-shaming.
More worried about Rose's scalp than her weight to be honest hahahaha
Same 😭😭😭
True.
why?...
@@lond1n1 she’s constantly dyeing her hair/changing the color of it (mainly for promotions/comebacks) so many people are worried for her hair health! but as long as she is okay with it that’s all that matters :)
@@samyusundar it's normal..even hyoyeon from girls generation from the day she debut she kept maintained her blond style ..she never change it and still she keep Changing her hair colour for 16 years..if you have money you can keep maintain your hair no matter what colour you have done you can make it fine easily.. it's really few process .. so there's nothing to worry and frankly she's a millionaire so she is well in her life stop worrying about others worry about yourself first 😂
I saw her in concert and she was so energetic for the entire time. I don’t think that’s achievable if you’re starving yourself lol. I’m very thin too and I have a small frame so it emphasises it more just like with rosé
Everyone should watch this video and finally realize that she is okay. Edit: (Not one truly knows and we cant do anything anyway, so just live it alone. It's her life, she is the one who should decide what is best for herself, she is the only one who knows her body and its limits, we should just stop arguing about it, cause it's not gonna change anything.
I kept telling people it's her legs bellow the knees that throw people off all of the time.
I've never thought that she is not okay, she is obviously okay and never starved herself, even Lisa said Rosé never skipped a meal she always eat her meals on time
No but for real !
People need to understand that being thin doesn't mean being malnourished and that thin-shaming is as bad as fat-shaming.
It's so obvious that she's naturally thin, and it's not like she doesn't know it. She has been saying over and over that evertone has different body types and shows that she eats well...she's 25.
I'd be more worried if she actually gain lots of weight.
If you ever meet her, you would be floored by how thin she is in person. I'm a little taller than Rosé, but not significantly, and am also underweight due to an underlying health condition which requires monitoring and a special high calorie diet since a low BMI puts you at risk for a lot of health conditions regardless of WHY your BMI is low. Knowing my weight and height and seeing her? I would be very surprised if she weighs over 40kg, if that... probably closer to 37ish (that's about 80lbs for those in the US).
u don’t know her? no one does so stop assuming stuff as if u do.
It’s always been so funny to me how they would be so quick to silence the voices of skinny girls because they think they can’t be body shamed too
right? i said momo was being thin shamed in response to people saying she was anorexic and they told me thin shaming doesn't exist lmfaooo
@@markly5460 deadass and then they say "ugh skinny shaming is nothing compared to fat shaming" like, this is not a competition!!!
Preach. Just because they think fat shaming has been around longer doesn't mean it hurts any less when you bully thin people. If anything skinny shaming is done publicly a lot where it's a big no no to talk about an overweight persons weight to their face.

I get so mad when people try to say celebs like Demi lovato or the Kardashian's are somehow body goals when they do nothing but sell diet products to their young fans! Rose is actually out here doing the real hard work to keep herself in shape.
dude what's worse is that the kardashian's photoshop their photos and do plastic surgery to get those "body goals" *almost everyone* in the USA are either fake or are actually unhealthy.
@@ihatemostpeople6711 true that’s why I don’t get why other American fans try to make it seem as if they’re better in someway when it comes to body images when we also have unattainable beauty standards too and both can lead to dangerous behavior to reach it

Hey guys a lot of people were asking for an update since her solo because so many people were making a huge fuss. Comeback after comeback Rose never changes yet people keep trying to push this agenda that she's losing weight. There is not a thing left she could do to convince anyone she is just fine.
Rose is very thin and does not represent the average woman, but that doesn't mean everyone gets a say on how she should look. Especially considering how mean a lot of people are. She shows absolutely no signs of being malnourished or sick or weak. The reality is no one will be 100% satisfied with her weight is she lost or gained weight so she just needs to do what makes her happy.
thank u for this, its rlly nice how you adress body shaming in kpop culture, and of course rose isn't malnourished or weak have you seen how much she eats during her vlogs loolo
Thank u for all , but I wanted to kindly ask u to delete baekhyun's video cuz he said he has hypothyroid which makes every thing different ! Or u can make another part explaining all including the parts u missed when he says that he eats well and healthy and saying he noticed fans being worried while he eats well :)
Also can u do more for another exo members ? Thank u ^_^
thank u:) also, could you do soyeon from g-idle? i noticed that she lost a ton of weight for her solo comeback and i would want to know more about her and her diet
Could you do Lisa, her and rosé get s lot of hate for being skinny despite being naturally thin
Just to say thanks for always putting dates on the photos, it helps put things into perspective!
people don't understand that eating 3 or 4 meals a day won't necessarily lead you to gain weight, it's actually normal to have a snack to boost your metabolism but diet culture says that eating less=weight loss. Also Rosé is super active, dance practice plus pilates require extra energy that's why food for her is so important and also she's really tiny and her bone structure is slim. They really need to stop targeting her as an ed person
Blackpink dances are not so difficult to lose many calories practicing, and pilates does not generate a great weight loss either, but it does help make you more elastic. If Rosé has that body, it's because of her fast metabolism, not because of dance practices, that's very clear...
@@MeLovesChristmas Where are you getting this idea that Blackpink’s dances are not difficult? They absolutely are, especially when doing an entire two hour show or doing a dance practice all day long to memorize choreography. People need to stop speaking about professions they are not in.
@@Sogeking995 They meant “easy to lose weight”, double negative. Learn to read.

this is from a western fan herself, western fans have to stop trying to be “captain save-a-hoe” with an idol just bc they’re skinny. they are always trying to come off as extra woke or something with EDs and health and diet, and it’s so annoying and damaging. not only bc majority of the people speaking don’t have the credentials or basic knowledge to be speaking on someone’s entire health solely on weight and outside appearance, but someone’s weight is NONE…absolutely NONE of our business. she looks energetic and strong in her stages and that is just enough to keep your mouth shut. even then, i’m sure the company would step in if anything. it is not our job as a fan to police their health and i-fans are so much worse than k-nets in that regard. do not tell your idol to lose or gain weight “for you”. the only body you need to worry about is your own
EXACTLY
i never understood why anyone think that someone who is suffering with an ED would need to be reminded constantly about their bodies.
i know this isn't rose case, but some of the comments saying that they're just worried for her like??? how is it ever okay to call someone ugly, disgusting and unattractive, especially if, in your mind (not you personally, but the people commenting), they suffer from anorexia??
the west keeps thinking that they're woke, but they do more damage than good
They always say they are “worried for her” when there is absolutely no reason to. Her weight hasn’t changed, she has shown so signs of unhealthy eating habits and has never fainted/looked sick while performing. Western fans have no basis for their “concerned about her health” argument.
They don’t realise that they are the ones that are further perpetuating a possible eating disorder… saying stuff like “omg she’s so thin, i can see her bones, I’m so worried for you” isn’t helpful in anyway! Commenting stuff like that brings more insecurity to someone who probably doesn’t even have an eating disorder 🤦🏻♀️ Can people literally stop commenting on other people’s bodies or whether they are fat or thin. The fact that this whole channel exists (no hate to them as they are just pointing out people’s comments) proves that society is overly obsessed with weight 😔
Oh yeah, western people have a hero complex.
Rosé is very healthy actually and not because of her weight but because she doesn't go on fad diets or starve herself. She eats clean with a little junk food here and there and gets enough exercise. Why would people think there is something wrong with her? Her body is genetic, people need to leave her alone😭
Her body is genetic but anyone eating as healthy as her will be able to lose the excess pounds. Noone wants to do that tho

No because western fans will hate on knetz for bodyshaming idols yet they do the same thing. Also let’s for a second pretend that an idol does have Ed do people actually think that telling them that they’re too skinny will help no of course not because that’s what they want, to be skinny.
people say that being "overweight" is fine as long as you are happy, but bodyshame people with thin figure and it's so hypocrite. thin and fat BOTH can be healthy! all people are different!
This is medically and factually incorrect.
The human body isn't designed for extremes, and it is enormously irresponsible to push a feel good narrative that is harmful for quality of life.

@@lesbiangoddess290 i feel very sad because of this comments. I'm very thin since my birth and i hate my metabolism for that. It is very hard when you want to to other things, but if i don't eat so much, i won't gain any kg
I'm the same way as Rosé, I have small calves but I have more meat in my thigh area, so I look skinnier when I wear long skirts. People always comment on how skinny I am so I understand the frustration.
Rosé has such a beautiful body, I wish people would leave her alone.
same
I have the same issue. Most of my weight goes to my hips and butt, so if you were to just see my hips and waist, it would seem that I'm very curvy. But then if you look at my calves and lower thighs, it would seem like I'm very skinny.

I just know she is fed up. Do people not realize that if she were starving herself/dieting her weight would be fluctuating a lot? Idols who fad diet eventually stop/binge eat or have a period of gaining some weight and then losing it drastically. She’s maintained her figure for years and she wouldn’t have the energy she does now if she’s been starving this whole time.
I remember reading the comments on Asianjunkie regarding Rose's solo and most of them were about her body. It's heartbreaking because one of them said they couldn't even look at Rose anymore because she was too "triggering" for them. Her bone structure is entirely genetic and she can't change that. It sucks that people are spreading the narrative that she's "dieting" and trying to lose weight when she's not. I really feel for Rose because you can tell how uncomfortable these comments are making her.
Reality is this is caused by the media pushing people on how they should look. Someone else's body should not be triggering to you, it's cause the media told people that it should be that they should try to look like others. What should be normalized is there are differences in everyone, and no one should be trying to be someone else. Every person needs to find what is healthy for them, not for someone else and stop trying to box people in on what healthy is.
I hate it when people talk about how idols are public figures and that younger people will go on diets to have their bodies... Like if the idol is actively promoting these kind of unhealthy things like telling everyone to go on diets and telling all their fans to eat only one fruit a day, I will be concerned, but it's not as if Rose (or any idol actually) is doing this. They're not screaming at people to go on diets, they're just living their own lives, and people have the audacity to be like "I know it's not their fault but they really should gain more weight etc etc" and I'm like "WHO ARE WE TO TELL THEM TO GAIN WEIGHT?!" Literally it's harsh, it's crass and it's thoughtless, but if my weight (I'm also fairly skinny) affects someone else and makes them triggered, I would feel bad, but is this my fault? Should I gain weight so that others can be happy? It's more important to learn the skills on how not to get affected by others' bodies, instead of telling everyone else to change their bodies for you. And I HATE it when idols get slammed for sharing their diets. If they are asked a question about it, (and this is from AMFG video about Somi) some people say they should lie about their diets so that younger fans won't follow them but then proceed to immediately say that idols shouldn't lie because it sets unrealistic body goals. WHAT?! So idols should just ignore the question, right? No, they'll get bashed for being rude! If younger fans get influenced by their idols' body, I"m really sorry, but honestly it's in no way the idol's fault... And it's really unfair to expect idols to change everything about themselves so their fans can be "protected". Are we really living in a world where everyone is simultaneously being "dictated" by someone, while also dictating the someone at the same time? (Eg. "Idol XXX is so skinny. I can see her bones, her ribs, and she's severely underweight. She should gain more weight, because younger fans will look at her and think that their bodies should look like that." HELLO? If someone looks at someone else and has certain ideas of them, maybe instead of focusing on that someone who has literally done nothing except breathe, we can help the person having such unrealistic/delusional thoughts instead? If you're really so concerned over these younger fans (who in this narrative never seem to be able to think for themselves; I know some people can get triggered, but it sounds as if they have no free will and that *all* of them will definitely feel the same way), perhaps you can spend more time thinking of ways to help these younger fans rather than comment everywhere on how idols should gain weight for the sake of their fans. (Sorry for the long comment...)
I literally see nothing wrong with her. All y’all need to perish
I also want to add that Rose feels uncomfortable when fans glorify her body. Knetz were analyzing if she had an infamous "12 inch waist" and she made a statement later clarifying that it wasn't true and that she's also human. Granted, her measurements weren't correct but it's obvious the comments are hurting her. She also states that she doesn't like her calves and prefers wearing pants.
Rose is in a strange predicament where she's glorified by Knetz and repulsed by western fans for her body. People need to take a step back and realize that this faux concern isn't helping her.
The weirdest thing about the "Rose is secretly starving" conspiracy is that a portion of twitter dedicated to eating disorders has been pushing that idea, and then somehow stan twitter picked up on it and thats only increased the scruitiny on her during what should be happy moments (the tweet which started it off got like over 10k+ likes so I don't feel like im "exposing" the community). People with eds fully know u can't get a body frame like hers through starvation but they insist on the idea that she's not healthy, and I remember when I asked someone why they said "the idea she has to starve makes me feel better about myself"
That last part is another level of weirdo
Don't mention that part of Twitter at all.
A lot of people are envious of naturally skinny women because it has been the ideal body type for about 50 years, since the 60s. But people don't realise that every body type is beautiful and exercise and eating healthy plays a big role in how your body looks
It's a known fact that kpop idols have restrictive diets + unhealthy amounts of exercise. Why act like that isn't the case? I don't think Rose necessarily starves herself, but you can literally look at her Instagram stories and see her portion sizes are small. You guys just don't want to admit the possibility of your favorite idol having an eating disorder.
@seu cú Naturally skinny scientifically doesn't exist. Some people naturally don't have a big appetite, therefore they eat less and don't gain weight. Some people are really picky to the point they don't eat most foods, therefore eating less and not gaining weight. Some people exercise a shit ton, therefore not gaining weight. I do admit Rose is petite and whatever weight she might gain, she'll still look small regardless. But she is underweight and it's pretty fucking obvious.
I think people thought Rosé lost weight to her solo because of the clothes she was wearing. At least I speak for myself. Initially, I also thought she had lost weight (due to the preparation for the solo comeback, that demands hours practicing dancing and vocals, so, it would be normal if she had difficulty eating as much calories as her body would require) because, at least for what I know, it's rare to see her in outfits that show her collarbone and shoulders so much (without jackets or another accessories covering up or hiding)... But then I looked to other performances and realized that she was the same... The only difference was that now she had all the spotlight and was wearing another type of clothes.
But I don't believe people keep shaming her like this and diagnosing ED's. Are they doctors? Rosé looks so comfortable with eating and always so powerful on stage!
P.S. Sorry for my English and I except that I expressed myself well, I don't want to shame Rosé in any way. I have a lot of respect for her and for her work ❤️
I agree, Rose hides her body a lot and I wonder if it's because of the public scrutiny?
Like for their concerts is the only time she wears sleeveless crop tops, but then she's in front of just blinks who know her body since debut. But, blackpink is so mainstream now, onlookers will judge her before knowing the full story.
@@pinkpanadalove2387 If it's because of the public scrutiny, I can't really blame her. Everytime she appears, people seem to think that they know everything and that it's okay to criticize her body, without knowing anything behind scenes and without doing some research. Rosé is so beautiful and her body is a goal but not a body that everybody can have due to a lot of factor such as body type and body frame. Rosé is my inspiration to have a healthy relationship with food and with my body (something I've been working on), even though I can never reach a body like hers no matter how hard I try...
Her solo album photoshoot outfits show her body much that I think she's lost more weight
You’re literally a salvation, thanks to this video I can show people how Rosé is still as slim and healthy as debut.
I really hate how they invent her weight loss and always body shame her, as a person that has suffer about those comments too, I can say they’re just annoying and sense less.
Please stop commenting about others bodies everyone, is just so disrespectful
It makes me want to cry, I swear. What comes to mind is Sunmi gaining weight in response to fans' constant concern and borderline harassment about her body and how she looked "unhealthy." People even use that word when they mean the best of intentions, as in, "I don't want you to be unhealthy." Imagine someone (and yes, I am that someone) growing up naturally thin and skinny and being told that their body type is unhealthy, gross, and needs to be fixed. It's so harmful because the message you're sending out is that it's not okay to look like that, and that is NEVER okay. It goes both ways too. We need to stop caring about other's bodies and beauty standards and worry about the health of our own, whatever that means for us.
I’m not dismissing how out of line the fans concerns were and the impact upon Sunmi, but she has subsequently said she wasn’t eating enough during the gashing/heroine era and thought she was going to die from being so underweight. She was ill from being underweight, but pressure from fans and gaining weight will not suddenly resolve her issues. In an interview with Jessi she stated she is trying to lose weight again because of ‘fans’. 🙃

I find it weird that people think how Rosé lives and what she eats is their business. She’s an artist, let’s focus on her music instead.
Thank you
on the ground era people threw shade on her about she's being too skinny , because her shoulder is too overexpose than her previous outfits when blackpink made a comeback
Imma be honest I’m so sick of people insisting she’s starving herself (and Lisa too) when like.... if they are then that just defies the laws of physics. Maintaining that weight artificially for 5 years without any fluctuation, all while maintaining their muscle definition just wouldn’t work with starvation
Why don’t the people who claim Rose is unhealthy call out the extreme diets that other idols promote? They’re so fixated on looks that they ignore actual bad eating habits and signs of eating disorders.
I think the reason why everyone thought Rose lost a lot of weight in 2019 is bc her face slimmed down a lot. Rose used to have these cute chubby cheeks (nothing wrong with that, it makes her look really youthful) during dd4 and before. I remember blinks and I think Lisa called them chimpunk cheeks as an endearing nickname. Then she lost her chubby cheeks and had a very slimmed face. Its possible she lost baby fat (your face tends to slim down a lot in your 20s) or she got buccal fat removal (removing the fat underneath the cheekbones, making it more gaunt and hollow). So I think thats why ppl like me thought she lost a lot of weight when she didn't, it's bc her face looked a lot slimmer.
I also remember seeing an article a few months ago about how happy Rosé was when she gained some fat in her cheeks (tell me why when I was typing the word cheeks, the laughing emojis started popping up 💀), so I'm assuming she knows that it affects how her body looks.
@@Prettydiaries_rissa i just read the article and ya she looked so happy!!! thats so crazy she was that happy it just shows u those thin shaming comments rlly affected her :(
People don’t realise how much you burn from dancing. Trying to learn choreography literally makes me sweat so much. I once lost 15 kg over the summer just learning kpop dances. Stop caring so much about other people, worry about yourselves
I think one of the reasons Rosé looks really thin is because she just has a bigger head in terms of proportions(?) which makes her body look really small. Honestly I think her body looks fine and not that much different from other kpop idols. Jennie seems really petite as well but it doesn’t really seem to be noticed because I think her head is smaller, which kinda makes her body seem relatively normal in proportion.
What I mostly read is that they say that it is NOT normal that her height being more than 1.67cm and has a VERY low weight
But genetics plays a big role here and I hate to read bad comments about her body
I'm not a blink but I hate when people judge someone without thinking
Jennie isn't really petite. She's fine as per her height. Jennie sometimes looks really chubby but in a good way like her thighs looks thick and her shoulders are pretty as well.
She just has the body type that allows her not gain weight on top of that she always dancing so yeah
she has fast metabolism + regularly does strength training + eating healthy food + she moves a lot, meaning she has a high level of physical activity. hence why she can maintain her weight for the past years. Now, that's something very hard to do. She might look thin but she probably living healthier lifestyle than any of the people who criticize her for being too "slim"
Thanks for the vid! Can you update Jeon Somi’s weightloss too?
There is an old Somi video on this channel and Somi saying she is 46kg is worrying, I cant believe she got even skinner than her WYWF era
@@timingmile7030 I literally read WTF wra😂😂
Yh she lost weight! But if it’s not effecting yet health in a negative way then we shouldn’t be bothered about it.
@@Faye-Jane She recently said she had to be on an IV so she isnt be healthy rn
She’s definitely the type that didn’t gain a lot of weight easily even if she eat a little bit more, because her body always like that since training, and as we blinks know that uri rosé love to eat, and her favourite food is mango, she’s love to eat healthy food, and she always do pilates or yoga I didn’t really sure which one but she’s definitely love to exercise and always on healthy lifestyle🤍🤍
its always the western fans that have the most to say
I think for her solo debut, just like BP comebacks, it was her dress that made her seem skinnier because she naturally has a thigh gap and prominent collarbone, both of which is difficult to obtain for the majority of people unless you are underweight. She is very clearly a healthy eater who exercises regularly. She goals.
Rosé gives illusion to me, I really thought that she lost so much weight during her solo
And Somi is so thin now her diet must be so restrictive and unsustainable.
+Also Twice (all members lost weight I think) and Jeongyeon's weight gain and weight loss
I’m sure they’re all fine. Somi said she was good and no worries bc she was just exercising and she said she was perfectly fine. I kinda had the same situation as rosé when I was at a young age, I was really thin no matter how much I eat.
twice members lost weight? i didn’t notice
I knew people criticized Lisa but Rose as well? FUCK leave her alone. Hell, leave ALL of them alone!
She just has the fast metabolism we all wish we had.
I have fast metabolism too and I don't want it 😭😂
If only it was possible for you to send me your fast metabolism 😔 I can send you mine which extra slow aka a gain weight by breathing air 😔
yup exactly😭
So listen the subliminal that'll help.
You will get skinny shamed ☹️
I’ve always been in the bigger side as for my sister, she has always been naturally skinny and gets constantly called out for. Skinny shaming is not ok.
She wore a lot of outfits (halter tops/ sleeveless) where her shoulders were very visible during promotions for ‘On the Ground’, especially when her hair was also up. It really emphasised that area.
This contrasts to her BP outfits that rarely highlighted her upper body (where women often carry less fat too btw) so all of a sudden, half of kpop netizens were shooketh by how tiny her upper body is.
Thank you for educating fans.
I have the same problem as her. I've been weighing the same for 6-7 years now. No matter how much I eat I just don't seem to gain any weight. Seeing her being comfortable in her body really brings me joy.
Are we surprised? People in America glorify obesity, that's a fact. Of course, they are going to hate on her or try to "save her". Both extremes are unhealthy and bad (being a/being o). But Rosé has always been healthy and consistent. She has normal eating habits. She dances a lot, she loves pilates, she eats a well-balanced diet. She promotes self-love. And that's all there is to it. They love to hate her because they most likely envy her. It's ridiculous.
She is an inspiration.
She really is
It's great to see your website back up. I have missed all the documentaries and other content. Of course i love the kpop videos and hope to see more.
International Netizens love to paint Knetz as relentless toxic cyberbullies but I think International netizens are getting worse and worse. The amount of English comments I constantly see saying Rosseane has a ED or is starving herself is alarming. People who think She is unhealthy really need to learn that healthy bodies come in all shapes and sizes. You can clearly see that Rose has a healthy amount of muscle and fat on her and her bones have never been super visible like everyone claims. Rose's metabolism, bone structure and body type can never be achieved with diet and exercise, you have to be born with something like that. I hope western fans can realize that body shaming Rose will not lead her to be more healthy. I'm really grateful that she has managed to stay strong and not let those awful comments get to her, for a while I was worried she might start binge eating like sunmi did.
In conclusion Rose is gorgeous and so is her body. She is talented and deserves nothing but love.
The only thing that makes the situation sadder is realizing how these comments affects not only Rosé, but also her young fans who have a similar body
i can relate to that a lot. i've been b*llied since elementary school for being really skinny, people calling me names and diagnosing me without even knowing me. when i found blackpink, i was so happy to see rosé having a similar body type like me and it made me feel a bit better. but all of the bashing idk it hurts.
I love rose and and stuff but fans worrying is not okay she is a grown women and it’s her body
I remember that one of Blinks said Rosé was the member with most energy during their concert, and not only him, thousands of Blinks around the world. That just shows Rosé is eating well, how would she withstand hours of concert in many countries without energy aka food?
exactly.
Calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat. Why do we even comment on others bodies anyway? She looks fine and it’s just her body type and you can clearly see on stage she’s not lazy or lacking…
This is why I never understood the complaints against Rosie's weight. I've been a blink since 2017 so I've seen a lot of the body shaming for Rosie but her body always looked the same to me, so I was confused. I thought I was tripping or something because everyone kept talking about her weight loss or weight gain and I never noticed a difference. Plus, she is my bias so she has always been the member I paid the most attention to. I literally have a friend that is like Rosie. She doesn't gain weight and she eats a lot. She even told me that she wanted to gain weight. Some people are like that but others are quick to judge
Rosé was called "PORKY" back in High school, not because she was fat. Her sister said she eated a lot even back then
Bro, people fat shame idols and tell them to be skinnier which is so wrong and I can't stand people who do that, and Rosie has that slim body type you want on each idol and tell her to gain some weight? She keeps eating and eating it's not her fault why do you make such a big deal? Idols are not barbies!
People definitely need to understand that rosé is absolutely fine and that it's her natural body!! 💜
Actually Rose and Lisa are naturally skinny...... I mean haven't you seen Rose predebut photos? Her waist is always that thin
it's so weird to me how people always think idols should be extremely skinny but the second it's someone's ACTUAL body type and not a result of starvation and excessive exercise they get shamed for it. like rose and sunmi.
This is probably the reason why BP made the song “Pretty Savage”. “Born skinny, bitch!!!” Yeah that’s right.
I have to admit when I first saw Rose I was worried for her. However, after watching multiple stages and from each comeback to comeback I saw how energetic she was, how “strong her dancing was, and how healthy her skin and hair looked that I realised that’s just her frame. I never wrote comments about it (because eww) but I’m glad that she has always been healthy. I also have never seen photos of her with black hair, which I think is her natural colour (??) that was nice to see
People worring about her body... girlie worry about her scalp!!! Lol Rosé is so pretty seriously ppl should just stop commenting on other people weight altogether
One word: Genetics
I see this happen a lot with idols on the taller side. I'm pretty tall myself (5'8/172) but when your taller your body usually has a faster metabolism, 2 she's a dancer and they burn weight like crazy, 3 it seems like she already has smaller bones and a smaller frame. It's honestly crazy the amount people comment on her body, it's one thing to be concerned but some of y'all are just being straight up rude.
Nowadays, a person who is naturally thin or slim is automatically labeled as being on a diet, starving themselves or have anorexia. Smh, grow up people.
This video shows one thing : SHE IS GORGEOUS
While I personally don't think eating food in front of other people or a camera is credible evidence for a person not having an eating disorder or a restrictive diet, we can see through all the years that Rosé's weight has stayed consistent.
We even have childhood and predebut pictures where we saw that she always was very thin and had a very small frame.
Blackpink has never promoted excessive diets or starving methods.
At this point some people just want to find fault in them because BP is so successful.
Some people, from the body positivity community, want to force their "body positivity" on everyone who isn't extremely overweight.
They preach that all bodys are beautiful, while tearing down everyone that is naturally skinny or is just not obese.....
The international fans that always body shame are jealous and are wishing they were as slim as her. Trust me I’ve seen kpop fans who are chubby and always body shame idols and say that they are too skinny and anorexic. Like wtf they’re just jealous because they work hard on their figures.
Unfortunely i think people will do the same with lisa in her solo
They just cant accept that people can be naturally skinny
She said she wants to gain some weight but she just can't and she's not on any diet, it's just because of genetics
You can gain weight with the help of a Doctor / Nutritionist. But I don't really think she wants to neither do I think her label will support her. Kpop industry is notoriously toxic towards body standards (actually society in general is) but for most female Idols, it's better to be skinny than be 'healthy looking' or to look like you've gained. Her weight is also linked with her brand especially that she's the face of YSL. If she gained weight, she might no longer fit sample sizes of be the 'look' the fashion brand is going for. Lastly, gaining or loosing weight to a new size can be extremely uncomfortable for a person who is used to being a certain size for most of their lives, which might then affect her dancing, singing or self esteem. Honestly, It's complicated for her. She can't win either ways.
Well Rose is just like me shamed for being skinny when it's totally not our fault. I hope one day people will understand that being skinny is not our wish and we don't have a control over it. Stop body shaming! Periodt
saying she has a ''perfect diet'' when youre not living under the same roof as her is dangerous af
I feel so sad for her, because i'm skinny too. Almost all my classmates bullied me for my weight and cheeckbones. I just can't gain weight as normal person, i need to eat a lot more food just to gain 1 kg. People nowadays don't shame other people with bigger weight than beauty standarts, but they continue to ask skinny person stupid questions. Yes, i'm skiiny and i know it. Yes, i can eat, and i eat a lot. Yes, sometimes strong wind can be a problem. Please, dont wrap my wrist. Sorry it is my soul crying
when you’re thin: gets hate
when you’re larger: gets hate
whatever man, just be yourself at this point. we literally can’t win society.
She's so pretty, end of the conversation.
It's weird how people are so OK with accepting that some people are born with a bigger body type but when someone's born small it's immediately "no way, that's impossible, she MUST have starved herself"
Just watching this video and the comment section makes my blood level rise. How can people claim that they stand for body positivity when they keep on skinny shaming? Honestly people keep on praising people that are curvier and sometimes even highly obese people. Why can't you do that for people that are on the skinnier side? It doesn't mean that if you're skinny you're starving yourself or that you're unhealthy. You can see in her videos that she is eating enough meals. Everyone's body is different and you should accept it the way it is. It is appalling to me that people are making things up about Rosé. It is none of your business what weight Rosé is. Neither is the weight of "fans" or netizens. I mean they always have something to say. Can you imagine if the same thing happened to them. I don't think they would appreciate it.
her body is the most consistent i've ever seen from an idol. i always see people dragging her for "dieting" or "starving herself", um have you seen blackpink house or any variety shows she's in? she has always eaten what she wants and is very happy overall with eating. istg people are really just annoying.
The only thing that changes about Rose is her hair color
i hate peoples fake concern for her, lisa, and other skinny idols
I love how the thing that changed most was her fashion because what the hell was the stylist doing in 2016/17
Some kpop stans just can't accept the fact that some idols are actually *naturally skinny*
She is the most foodie in blackpink and she love food and also most eater but she is also the slimmest body in kpop industry!!!!!?
Ikrrr???
western kpop fans are silly. they see a translated anti-fan comment that has 20 likes and assume that all koreans think that way. they also like to say the opposite of what korean fans think. if a random korean fan comments that a certain member is the most beautiful, western fans say “that member is so basic and too skinny”. if a random korean fan thinks a member is unattractive, they say “she is literally the best member the other members are so ugly and fat”. they are obsessed with the idea of being better or smarter than korean people.
I think the only reason she looked 'skinnier' in OTG promos was because of the high ponytail. Her hair was always down in BP promos and its very flowy and long and doesn't show much of her shoulders.
Gotta say as a Westerner we seem to associate any type of bone showing with 'anorexia' or being 'too skinny'. We're so out of touch with what naturally skinny is as well as not keeping in mind (when it comes to people who are naturally skinny) that every person's body is not the same, much like they say in the Plus Size movement.
Rose has never looked tired, she's always glowing, and super energetic.
can you do Somi ? she lost lots of weight in a short amount of time
Her metabolism is crazy, she really doesn't change much for years
She's literally a ✨skinny legend ✨
I think Rosie should wear more boots, that's why she managed to be left alone in 2016-2018. Nowadays YG stylists don't try to cover up her calves (they aren't ugly but since they are thin they make her look thinnier than she is and haters go mad)
In addition to being small framed she prefers healthier food as well. She has said this so many times on camera, the other girls have said it too. Lisa for example has a fast metabolism and loves fast food and carbs and manages to maintain her weight thanks to her fast metabolism. Rosé also prefers vegetables and proteins in general and this isn’t because she wants to be “thin”. She has a fast metabolism and you can see although she eats a lot she eats on the healthier side and her portions are nothing that indicate an ed. So stop trying to body shame her or ssay she has an ed. She has never promoted anything like that and is an healthy individual. Recently somi is also receiving backlash and i feel like thats bc she promoted it to her young audience yet no ones has a right to say anything about anyones body. It’s only a problem if it’s being promoted like how somi shares it online.
you can see many comments under "why I UnStaNNed Blackpink" videos saying that the girls promote skinny culture like whtatttt as if they are forgetting people can be naturally skinny
Exactly when I eat 3 healthy meals a day and workout I am slim. If I eat all the time and not workout I gain weight. What people not understand is that all the members of Blackpink are dancing/moving a lot. When I dance one hour of a dance from Blackpink I burn around 300 calories. I know because I have a fitness watch. Thus if they dance like probably 5 hours a day, they can literally eat a lot and not gain weight. Some ppl just seem to have no brain.
exactly and i don’t doubt that each member also has their own exercise plans (i.e aerial pilates, boxing) which contributes to making them lose more weight healthily. ppl act as if the girls immediately stop functioning as people when the cameras aren’t rolling smh
Hi, an international fan here. She's from NZ, Auckland, which is where I live. Everyone here talks so positively about her in her home country. I am ashamed to hear other "Fans" don't like her body, as someone who is also 9n the skinny side I can relate to her, getting called an*rexic and told to put on weight all the time is very exhausting.
Fans will always complain, too chubby, too skinny, too short, too tall, lazy, trying too hard. U cannot satisfy people who don’t want to be satisfied
It's obvious she's extremely underweight however, no one can deny that firstly she eats A LOT, secondly genetics (look at The Documentary she was SO SO skinny I thought she was gonna break when walking she was literally skin and bones), thirdly she obv has a high metabolism. Combining all three of them there's no way she can gain weight that easily. In my life, I have met two girls who were the same. Like everyone was concerned. I'm 173cm and 70kg and I constantly battle with my weight cuz I was simply born big (had 4kg when I was born). Meanwhile, my friend was 172 and had 40kg. Istg she was eating more than me like where does it all fit lmao and I ate WAY less.
All in all, people should stop and just let her be. Some things are simply out of our control. Deal with it.
But should we really say underweight if it’s a normal weight for her body ?
@@b.m.254 Idk honestly. Think it depends on the individual? I see it as not normal. It's not normal to be too skinny nor too obese. Golden mean is the best IMHO.
I don’t know why people have this belief that Rose starves herself. We see this girl eating at every opportunity 😂 Lisa is the same way. Just naturally skinny. The girls can eat whatever and burn it right off. Lucky them.
why can't people understand that there's just people that are naturally born with skinny bodies and fast metabolism ☹ not does this only hurt rosé but also other skinny people in general that are constantly being "diagnosed" by know-it-all people that they have eating disorder. IT IS JUST SO WRONG.
You should do one about Somi since everyone seems to be hyper fixating on her since she lost weight for the Dumb dumb comeback
