Penner was a complete villain in Cook Islands, got some popularity in Micronesia, and left Philippines as a hero. So much respect for his game as a whole.
Penner was great but I don't get why he's salty that Lisa had the "courtesy" to say he's the target, she may had also been hinting that he tries to save himself without getting blood on her hands (like supposedly what happened with she didn't vote for Artis to eliminate him but Skupin did, even if in a Secret Scene Artis didn't believe Lisa didn't write his name) - it's odd because apparently Kellyn in Ghost Island was notified by Wendell of her elimination which may had tipped the vote to him.
I actually liked Penner in Cook Islands and felt like he was portrayed as a better person than Adam, Candice and Parvati at least after he flipped back to Yul’s crew.
That’s cool the only survivor player I’ve ever met is Rodney from from season 30 my school had him come as a motivational speaker was really nice I got my picture with him after

Despite his hilarious post game speech, I think Jeff played a pretty solid game, especially considering his MCL injury. I think his biggest flaw was his hard on for getting rid of returning players. He was actually asked back for second chance later on but he declined.
RC is really unique person in every way, she is definatelly one of most memorable players from this season, her complicated personality and that goofy laugh made this amazing season and ponderosa even better. i think this girl really have potentional in this game I would be really happy to see RC play again.
She was going to be on the first Blood VS Water season, but her father was too ill to play so they had to drop out. She supposedly turned down being on Cambodia as well since she caught wind Abi was likely to appear on the season as well.
As a Filipino, I have to say, while I get they wanted to incoporate more Asian based cultures to the theme as you said they rarely go here, I'm not much fond that it didn't fully feel "Filipino" as some aspects are too general for the region, although it's LESS local-focused in the later seasons (particularly Cagayan which wasn't really connected w/ Bali culture I think).
@@OnceUponAnIsland Yeah, it's more based on Balinese culture, which still sucks because the Philippines has so many ethnic groups, that you cannot just lump us into one culture - they could've even tried mixing with say, colonial tribes based on Spain, USA and Japan.
Just finished this season, and man, Malcolm getting eliminated right before the final 3 decimated me. He was by far my favorite player, so to see him go out like that really got to me :(
Abi Maria was going to be on Tocantians but was not because she was close to somewhere she was born. Forgot if this was in the facts about Tocantians but if not, it is something interesting
Also want to add that Survivor rents these locations for a certain number of years. And during these period the island where they used to shoot is inaccessible to locals or tourist. Caramoan islands is where they shoot this season and some of these islands cannot be visited in 20 years.
Jeff Kent is the most successful professional athlete to play Survivor. He won the NL MVP one year. Yet nobody knew who he was? It’s probably because he played in Barry Bonds’ shadow.
I'm not into sports, so when sports players go on Survivor, I don't recognize any of them. I did however, recognize Taj in Tocantins, and Lisa in Philippines right away.

Tbf, Survivor 31 ended up being Second Chance. Maybe RC found out Abi would be apart of the Pool of contestants and didn’t want to run that risk, although tbf, I always enjoy when past tribe mates are on the same season.

Another very interesting secret video! Personally I would love to see RC play again! I think that she has great potential as a player. The problem was that her tribe just turned against her and voted her out at a time when they should have kept her and her entire tribe loses the game because of it. RC was right when she said her tribe mates should have been trying to unite their tribe not destroy it. They may have been able to go all the way if they stayed together. I know that Penner and Malcolm have both played three times, but I would love to see both of them play again! Penner is one of the smartest players to ever play and the scene where he is literally able to tell Lisa what is going on in her head is one of the most impressive things Survivor has shown. Malcolm is great at the challenges and is not afraid to make huge strategic moves! Great video man!

I liked Lisa’s personal growth during the season, and I appreciate that she stuck to her moral values. That being said, I don’t think she’s a very good Survivor player.

i’ve met Russell at a RHAP live event. he’s an extremely nice and humble person.
Russell is one of my all time favorite people to play on Survivor.

Cagayan was inspired by Indonesia, based on what I found for that video.
