i certainly want to look into getting newyes possibly as a planner but i think the rocketbook especially the a4 size will be a better fit for my current need to reusable notetaking paper for quick class notes
Hi Elijah, newyes also has A4 size reusable notebook. We have dotted and ruled format options. Check it here: www.newyes.com/collections/newyes-smart-notebook/products/letter-size-reusable-smart-notebook-40-pages-a4
That’s a great question. Can you please look into this and provide an answer for us. It would greatly be appreciated! And, thank you again, for the thorough and informative review!
As a comparison experiment, have you tried for a week or two, taking shots of ordinary paper pages and sending them to a dedicated cloud folder. THe only advantage I see here is that the pages are erasable.
Rocket book is alot more expensive. That said, you can get rocket book in an executive size relating to your comment about Newyes fits in your purse. If you got the executive size i think it will fit equally as well. Additionally, you can buy a folio from a list of options for rocket boot. The folio products DO have a pen holder. Also, you can buy a pen holder that you attach to the rocket book which can hold your pen. So really, all the options you are mentioning that are "missing" from rocketbook are not missing, they just cost additional. In my opinion the rocket book product is the better product however the price point is much higher... kinda like iPhone vs random name android phone.... both can work well for you, but 1 is better and much more expensive.
Our mistake. We should have offered Jen an axclusive discount code for the audience here. We'll email Jen and make a 20%off code for her channel! Please check later in the description box.
Chelsea mca Wood if you already have a tablet you could just use a 99¢ comp book and just use adobe scan which is free. So this seems like another gimmicky “substitute.” Paper is recyclable but the pages in these is not plus I prefer specific pens which dry quicker and aren’t garbage. I get the point...it’s a marketing gimmick. There are better ways.
@ Exactly, I have been using Rocketbook for years and it has worked well for me. Also I like the idea that what I am writing/drawing won't stay there permanently. Somehow this makes my ideas to flow more easily. The one in the video looks like the new Efinbook, not sure which one came out first though.
sorry but seems like a ridiculous review when comparing the two reusable smart notebooks. If your priority is having a pen holder and having refills, then perhaps you should not be using a reusable notebook at all. Reusable smart notebooks have two features that set them apart from paper notebooks - 1) ability to upload stuff to cloud, 2) how long does it take to dry the ink, since that's what makes the notebook usable for taking notes. On both of these accounts it seems to be Rocketbook shines, but this must be a paid review to be this biased. Shame on such dishonesty.
You fail to realize that the PRIORITY of folks who use reusable notebooks like to have the feel of the components of a traditional notebook -- and that includes folios and folios WITH A PEN HOLDER. Yes you can upload info to the cloud, but many times folks who use traditional notebooks don't always need to permanently save what they write. This is why many resuables tell you that you can keep what your wrote on the pages for like a month before it becomes difficult to erase. If you are leaning to more tech dominant note keeping (I know many folks who are) then yeah, a pen holder on a folio may seem "trivial" to you. And that's totally ok -- however it's clearly important because many youtubers (this person included) mention rocketbook's lack of a pen holder on their folios.

Exactly the review I was looking for. Thank you!
Are newyes pens recyclable? The rockebtbooks' are and that's sort of important aspect in this concept.
That’s a great question.

It automatically came with a cover? Haven't even finished watching your vid and I'm already sold on it 😂
Great way to give a review. Thank you. Can you go in and change or add to your notes once you have scanned and uploaded them?
Can you clean the page with dry erase cleaner spray?
If your dry erase cleaner is alcohol based, I would avoid using it because it might damage the pages.
Good review .. thanks
Very helpful review
Wow. It was a pleasure watching this video. You are a professional at this. I’m much better informed. Thank you so much.
I was very interested in erasable notebooks until I remembered I'm left-handed so I would probably erase everything I write.
I’m a lefty and I have a rocket book. It’s not that bad 😊 just have to adjust the way you hold the pen a little
@@joeysalazar98 Buy the Rocketbook Flip instead, the rings are at the top of the book
Your link to Amazon is not working.
It looks like the seller has stopped offering the product on Amazon. You can order from NewYes directly using the link in my description.
Great comparison review! Really useful, thank you!

Agreed.
Disagree
what happened with the camera quality
Lovely and interesting video.
Thank you.
Can you use/Have you used :: the Rocketbook App with the physical Newyes notebook?
Harry Orenstein it wouldnt work as it needs a qr code
They only offer 8% off a little ridiculous to be cutting corners that much

Thank you for the review but it sounds like you’re in a tunnel.
Sorty, this isn't really a review its very much a first look.
I'm crying.. The music is sooo disturbing.
Cool
Why use this when you can take a picture of a regular sheet of paper and email it to yourself?
TweetyTaffy because you don't need to keep buying new notebooks

It converts handwriting into text.
newyes is freaking generic company
Like for good work! Nice video
What purse is this 😳
Soo no software.. and you recommend it over rocket book 🤣
Id say newyes is better
I agree. The rocketbooks and others like it looks so cheap. I want to see a real leather binder and better software too.
