- We went to work for the 4th, even though we weren't techinically scheudled to be there. I spent a few spare seconds showing you the new building and how it flows.
After living in Australia and experiencing the Aussie coffee culture, seeing this coffee-shop is utterly depressing

Do you feel like it’s worth it to have the sit-down area? Or do you prefer to have drive-thru only?
This video was great!!! I always appreciate your transparency! While our café won’t have a drive thru I have already decided to purchase an extra iPad to help with play area check ins, drink orders and birthday party bookings. What POS do you use and do you use a special system for drink orders?
DomesticKrys so good to have the extra iPad! Smart! We use Lavu as our POS! We are very happy with them. :)
@@funtrepreneurs have you found them to be decent with processing costs for cc's? Currently I use Square but wanted to look into different systems in case Square ends up not being robust enough. Any help would be appreciated!

What a nice place to work, what is the purpose of the ipad on the wall?
The iPad on the wall is what we use to text in orders. We use the built in messaging function of the iPad. We have someone go outside and take the customer orders and then text them inside so that we can start the drinks inside.
what cold drink equipment do you use?
Fay Watkins for cold drinks we pull hot shots of espresso out of our normal espresso machine and then cool the shots down with milk and ice. For blended drinks we use Blendtec Blenders.
Okay, what's with all the red bull? And what are you making with it? I have 3 coffeehouses in Canada and while red bull is available here it's not that wildly popular that it's available through coffee shops.
Jesse Boles For some reason Redbull is really popular here! I think people just love the option of energy drinks/caffeine that doesn’t have to just be in the form of coffee. We mix the Redbull with flavor and come up with fun names and combinations of flavorings. They are a fun option!

I'm amazed my the independent coffee shop "culture" and following through the states. Once covid is over I want to do a "coffee crawl" road trip and will definitely have you guys on my list as a place to hit up. Cheers!

What commercial blenders do you recommend and why?
Hadi S. We personally love the Blendtec Commercial line. I highly suggest paying the extra for the silencer covers! It helps so much to be able to still talk to customers over the sound of the blender- especially in a cafe style! Our blenders have already been used around 50,000 blends each and show no sign of stopping.

MichelleMyBell we offer a simple IRA to qualifying employees, but only a couple fit the threshold due to hours worked and longevity.
