The sculpture “Moments Contained” by Thomas J. Price (2022) at Rotterdam Central Station is an impressive bronze sculpture of a fictional, anonymous young woman. With her confident posture and the knuckles of her clenched hands visible in her pockets, the statue suggests an inner tension that is not immediately apparent. Unlike traditional statues, she is not placed on a pedestal but stands directly on the ground.
Rotterdam is home to one of the largest and busiest ports in the world, serving as a crucial hub for global trade and logistics.
