I wish your husband wouldn’t have called ítems donated as “trash.” I have donated good quality clothes I don’t wear because I retired and don’t need work clothes. I’ve also donated because I lost quite a few weight due to illness. I have bought about half my wardrobe in the last year or more at thrift stores. Some were name brand items. Maybe using “quality of donation” is more appropriate.
