Love the Luminary series of phlox! Backlight gives a great pop and brightness to whatever it surrounds. I have in front of Holy Grail hibiscus and that dark foliage makes the phlox luminous
Hi Eric and Christopher everything looks absolutely divine! Wishing you great success with your garden show, wish I could have been able to be there, hopefully next year😉temps definitely dropping, enjoy!🌞
Wow your hydrangeas are really stunning! I wish they would grow here in central Florida. What’s better than a great gardener? That two great gardeners! You guys rock👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your entire property is SO beautiful, I'm SO impressed by all your flowers. I LOVE that you pop up the names of each plant as I am in Ottawa Canada which is also a 5B zone. Thank you for this tour. 🥰
Surefire rose actually draws eye to the matching color in the hydrangea room. So great placement underneath Lime Rickey as it is a repeat with color and texture of garden room across in hydrangea room.
Just love you two! If you haven’t shared this info already, is it possible to do a video on the order in which you planted things or ideas on how to plant in layers? For instance, did you build/start your garden by planting left to right or right to left, etc? How did you know how to plant in the manner in which you did? I hope my question makes sense! Your garden is so just beautiful and the layering of plants is just chefs kiss!
Thanks for the Preview for this weekend. This will be Mom and my first garden tour. We can't wait to see all the beautiful things. I just hope the weather is good.
I absolutely adore how you all layer the plants in your garden… it looks so full and lush! I would love to have a cup of coffee in the morning while gazing at all the beautiful handiwork ❤
And I have to replace 2 hydrangeas that are an old kind of Annabelle style… they only bloom on old wood and we keep getting a late frost that zaps all my upcoming flowers, I only had 1 bloom this year 😢 it’s part sun so I’m taking notes on which kind I need ❤
Hi Guys,,, I thought it was my computer,, but this is the second(maybe 3rd) video that I have watched that Eric's audio is very low, just wanted to let you know. LOVE,,LOVE,,LOVE your Yard and have gotten Sooooo many Ideas..THANK YOU....
The garden is looking gorgeous! Your Weewhite Hydrangea near the front porch are most likely drying out and heat stressed due to the placement. The driveway pavement and full sun will over heat them and dry them out fast, causing the blooms to brown.
@@growformegardening Check the soil around it, go down at least 6-8 inches and see if the drip is reaching down that far. Being four years old, the root system is mature, deep and expansive. The heat from the pavement(especially during extreme temperatures), full sun, plus the competition from the plants around it will effect how much water the hydrangea is able to absorb, and it will effect the blooms. Also, making sure not to fertilize during extreme heat is very important, too much stress on the plant. Sorry to sound like such a bossy pants. I just wanted to help and pass along information that I learned over the years with similar issues from my gardens.
@@juliepardo7767 thank you for the suggestions. I do think the drip may need an adjustment. After the season I am planning on replacing some areas that I think could use more or less.
How gorgeous your garden is looking, don’t know if it’s been hot where you live. But it’s been pretty hot these days for me in California, Plants are struggling 😢. I’m so happy for you both. 😊 Keep doing what you do whatever it is its working in the garden. 🩷
Just beautiful. Funny story...I have a blue satin Hibiscus that one year decided to give a shoot of pink flowers so the shrub now is basically half pink half blue. Last year the blue side decided to give me one pure white bloom. It was beautiful and I am hoping for more this year. Not sure if it somehow reverted back to some parent or how this happens but these types of surprises are part of my love of gardening.
Good morning Eric and Christopher. The entire garden is looking absolutely beautiful and the hydrangea room is looking very pretty. I love it. I’ve had a Rose of Sharon in the garden for two years now and it hasn’t bloomed so, I think it’s time to get rid of it and put another hydrangea in.
Beautiful! Gorgeous! All the words! 😁 I cannot wait to see the hydrangea hedge fully bloomed. It has never looked bad, but I know there were some issues last year (or 2 years ago?). A spectacular comeback thanks to you two.
Just love your garden and how it changes throughout the seasons. I love the variety of shrubs, flowers and trees and how you layer them. I love the wee pumpkin vine and look forward to seeing that grow. Well done guys!! 🐝☀️🌸🦋
Good morning Eric and Christopher love the tour everything looking so perfect. One suggestion if you like the look of silver lining artemisia you might try dusty miller. I suggest this only because in my zone 6a it comes back year after year like a perennial and definitely does not spread.
So lovely, I really appreciate when there is a close-up of a bloom you’re referring to. Question….As I regard you two as experts in the deer problem, I’m hoping you can reassure me. I read the Bobbex label and then promptly forgot it and sprayed my Liitle Quickfires EVERY night for 4 nights before re- reading that it’s every 28 days!!! 🫣🤨😳. Have I damaged my Quickfires?
