I literally left the house today to go to Half Price Books today to LOOK FOR BIBLES. Got there and the store was closed, permanently. There was an Ollie's in the parking lot across the street and I had never heard of it, I even thought to myself "I doubt they would have Bibles in there" and drove back home. SMH Clearly God is guiding me back to that store because it's so random that your video popped up about this store and about BIBLES specifically. Thanks for sharing!

My main translations are the NKJV and NASB (1977 and 1995), but I have also the CSB, HCSB, NET, ESV, Young's Literal Translation, KJV, NIV (which I rarely use), The Interlinear Bible, Complete Jewish Bible, and even a copy of the Septuagint. CBD (Christian Book Distributors) has been my friend; I buy from them primarily, and they sell at wholesale prices. As for the stickers and tabs and such, as long as it doesn't put strain on the spine or obscure notes you make, it's fine. BTW, I've subscribed.

Yay! I have this exact bright yellow Bible from November 2023. I love the wide margins as they allow me to write loads of notes when I study using the Through The Word app. I also bought no-bleed pens as well as tabs but have not installed the tabs yet as the Bible has text in the same spot I'd stick the tabs. Not sure yet how it will work out. But Bible study has become so much more enjoyable since my vibrant colour Bible. I stuck a sticker on the front cover as well. Thanks for the other recommendations. I love Ollie’s, you really can find some good buys and they often send coupons if you’re signed up in the Ollie’s army. Also, I would do the Bible tabs, but since your Bible is a vibrant color, I would go with neutral color tabs because the tabs are bright and flowery.

I added tabs once, soon after I cut the tabs off. I’ve never put tabs in again. I don’t like the looks of them(too busy), they wrinkle and rip the pages. I find it easier to locate the book without the tabs.

I vote no to tabs and stickers - tabs end up bugging me but stickers inside are fun! I just added some paper tabs and I'm bugged by them already. and a sticker on the front isn't staying put. also I find the vertse mapping/soap method Bibles are great for notes but don't have enough room - even the James Method pricey books don't have all the room I want LOL! abut they're nice and I enjoy using them

Wow what a great deal & beautiful bible but I’m wondering does it have the verse acts 8:37 - bibles are changing & I know csb isn’t a word for word translation but the newer bibles are taking more & more scriptures out -why?? Don’t know
@@Rene3873 Hi Rene! Great question! I’m not quite sure why some verses aren’t in certain translations. I noticed the same for the CSB, NIV & NLT. However to answer your question regarding Acts 8:37, that particular verse is not in the CSB but it is included in the footnote.

I wouldn't add the tabs, but would add stickers. Does the Mapping Bible come in other versions? Like the ESV? I am curious about Bible Mapping, have never heard of it! Thanks🙂

I would enjoy the Bible mapping video. Lately I haven’t found any books that I can read with my eye trouble so I generally use an electronic Bible.

Hey was happy to see another video pop up , I have the now and not yet book in my Amazon cart would love to hear how you find it , a book I’m really enjoying is Meant for Good by Megan Fate Marshman it’s about trusting in Gods plan for your life , I also prefer to have the physical book I’ve got a small collection of vintage poetry and wildlife books Im a bit of a book nerd . I love the Marigolds color! I like the CSB. I have that Bible and found sunflower Bible tabs to put in it they look very pretty in the Bible. I have been looking for a Bible dictionary and concordance I will definitely check it out. Could you also do a short preview. I would like to see font size. Looking for good concordance you can actually read. Thank you. 😊

I added tabs once, soon after I cut the tabs off. I’ve never put tabs in again. I don’t like the looks of them(too busy), they wrinkle and rip the pages. I find it easier to locate the book without the tabs.

I vote no to tabs and stickers - tabs end up bugging me but stickers inside are fun! I just added some paper tabs and I'm bugged by them already. and a sticker on the front isn't staying put. also I find the vertse mapping/soap method Bibles are great for notes but don't have enough room - even the James Method pricey books don't have all the room I want LOL! abut they're nice and I enjoy using them
Oh! I understand. Sometimes the margins don't have enough space. I am learning how to add blank pages to the Bible but I am not too sure about that yet. I love adding stickers inside my bible as well. Thank you so much for your input! I appreciate it. 🙏😊

Wow what a great deal & beautiful bible but I’m wondering does it have the verse acts 8:37 - bibles are changing & I know csb isn’t a word for word translation but the newer bibles are taking more & more scriptures out -why?? Don’t know
@@Rene3873 Hi Rene! Great question! I’m not quite sure why some verses aren’t in certain translations. I noticed the same for the CSB, NIV & NLT. However to answer your question regarding Acts 8:37, that particular verse is not in the CSB but it is included in the footnote.
Put some stickers in the front!! It’s inviting and inspiring, at least for me. 😊
