In this equation I used the jalapeños hottest SHU and the Carolina Reapers lowest SHU. So if I would do 2.2 million SHU divided by 1,500 SHU I’d get a more accurate answer. So, 2.2 million SHU divided by 1,500 SHU is 1466.66666667 So 1 Carolina Reaper is equivalent to 1,467 Jalapeño’s. Hope this helps.
